I really wish there was a walkthrough for this game. I know some of the music but can't remember the name, and google will only get me so far. I would love to go back and play some of the games and grab some of the soundtracks for some of the games I haven't.

Fanboy mode: Your Chrono Trigger hint is incorrect. It didn't have monsters on the world map, only in the smaller/local maps.

it be nice if it also accepted the "champion world soccer" plain cuz the ( Italia part applies only to the Euro version) being specific at times hinders you a bit, typos aside, like Micromachines , it be nice if it accepted it altogether as a title since I remember the box cover like so
though its also written separate.

The 'Italia' version was the original, it was released as a tie-in with World Cup Italia 90. Once the World Cup was over, instead of making a new game, they just renamed it and released it again.

@Rover4444: There's no Halo, because this is not about Halo. It's about the old console games that young people don't give a damn about because "uh oh, there be no good graphics". And what exactly do you have against health bars? Did someone use a health bar to hit you in the past or something?

It should accept differnt spelings as well for example: "Star Fox" as well not only "Starfox" see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Fox_%28video_game%29

In other news, this game has an amazing amount of balance in it, from obscure things I played/rented once and things that I played the crap out of (also, songs that made me pull my hair out because I couldn't remember where the crap it came from). Big fan.
It's "Robocop versus the Terminator" - but people were getting confused with versus / vs, and whether 'the' was required or not, so the string check is more lenient now.

It was called Genesis in the US and Mega Drive elsewhere. Mega Drive was not the real name. The vast majority of these were sold in the US, meaning that there are far more Genesises than Mega Drives.
The reason it was called Genesis in the US was because another company already held a trademark on the name "Mega Drive" and Sega couldn't get the rights from them. All other regional releases both before and after the USA launch still used the Mega Drive name.

I've got a score of 93 and all of the gems, but I don't have 100 % completion. How come?

The best thing about having a large family of retro and new-age gamers is knowing most of these while only being born in 1995. My grandmother would sit me in front of the TV when I was a baby while she played Mean Bean Machine all day.
If I'd started including handheld games too the game would have been twice the size. I didn't even have space for all the top games of the consoles that were included. Sorry :)
