I assumed it would be another different view on breakout, but when I started playing I saw it wasn't. It got boring after 30 seconds. 2/5.

this goes too hard too soon, I was barely surviving after about 90 combo. The thing reminds me of a very old hand game, about 1970s, where you control a bridge and must get some astronauts to the outer edge by not letting em fall into lava. I still have the thing at home somewhere... 4/5

this is a fun game but controls/pure radomness of pels makes it get too hectic and i start to lose all my lives at once but other wise good game 5/5

The best version of this game I've ever played. No lag for me and I've got a slow computer. This could get addictive.

phooltk, jonathanasdf, Semilancholy: Regarding apparent lag, this might be due to trail handling being tied to the render loop rather than the update loop, I'll try to correct this in the next update. Sorry about this, and thanks for pointing this out. I'll try to work on a trail switch in the meantime. :)

phooltk: Thanks for the really helpful feedback! Regarding key per position, I think this is a great idea, I'll try to push an update to incorporate this. Regarding added positions / pels, I'll work on those for the sequel. ;) Regarding randomness, I'm thinking that a pure skill mode based on random seed should work well to make things more deterministic. Might be a bit too complex to incorporate as an update, but this will probably be in the sequel. Thank you so much for the valuable feedback - these really help me improve in making games! :D

excellent game. controls would probably be better with a key per position rather than directional, rhythm game style. Could be developed without losing the addictive simplicity by adding more positions as well as increasing balls. Some powerups have too significent an effect on score imo, makes things a little too random. Finally, it seems intermittently laggy for some reason in both browsers I've tried it (opera, ie7) tho this same pc handles some of the more demanding flash games like the mmms very well (chat on @mute). Option to reduce/turn off trails? Anyway very welcome addition to Kong, not nearly enough short skill games here.
