Regardless of my final actions, a part of me will always regret leaving that poor cinnamon bun alone in the deepest levels.

I just realized that the crystals from the Deep Sleep series and Don't Escape 3 are the same things. They look the same, and with one ending of Don't escape 3 it says that the crystal went to a place called Sidereal Plexus. And that is the place it says you are in The Deepest Sleep.

Alright, now I understand why Scriptwelder put Nietszche's quote "Look into the abyss, and the abyss will look upon you".
The full quote would be "He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you.", so...My theory is that, since the protagonist has been in this sleep for such a long time and he did fight the monsters (he supposedly killed one in "Deep Sleep"), he didn't take care of himself at all and thus he became a monster himself. As for the Abyss, Deepest Sleep makes references that he is in the lowest levels there is. An Abyss is similar to that, a very deep area. So you can easily say that the protagonist himself gazed upon the abyss, and fell into it right after the abyss looked upon him. He became a monster, but is he really a monster?

I have to say, I was waiting for someone to point this out :) Good job with Nietszche's quote, kudos for you :)

Great finale, I was just disappointed to see that the kitchen bell didn't make its return!
