Anyone having issues with this game clearly just has 0 sense of rhythm. I was able to get the Impossible badge on a 2+ year old computer, any "lag" you're getting is your brain not being able to time keystrokes with the beat of a song.

this game is not worth it, it isnt lenient enough on the timing to account for flash's key read times, have you ever noticed when typing in a flash game sometimes it takes a while to pick up what your typing? its an issue with flash, not just lag on your computer. it makes this game nigh impossible, and rage inducing.

OK. This is it. Until now I just ignored the series of this crappy piece of lag. But everytime they make one of it botd I get very angry and frustrated. From now on I will try to find and rate 1/5 every sequel before it even gets badges. Can' t even understand, why the first of these impossible badges are labled easy, medium and hard.
It' s not, that I don' t like games of this genre... but this im implemented very poorly. Might be, that there are people out there with no lag (or not that much) but we others are simply not rich enough to have a new alienware every 3 months. I 'played' (means I did what the game told me to - but it just lags enough or does not recognize my keys to give me a mistake) the first four songs. The 'easy' one now about seven times. My new highscore is 4436. Not a single award point. No level unlocked. No badge. No fun. No motivation to carry on.

Why is everyone whining? Easy badge is super easy, I got a gold on my first try on the first song, and BAM easy badge in the bag.

Dirty trick hack - play this with the speakers off. Try it.... my sense of timing throws me off - you have to hit the keys fractionally too early to get it right.

4 Stars. Great game, great addition to the genre. Would love to have some easier slower soul/blues type songs added for those of us with clumsy fingers (for 5th star). Also, some classical to mix it up.

I FINALLY GOT THE...easy badge .-. I wish you could mute the guy who shouts your multiplier during the song, I almost always mess up after he announces how well I'm failing, erm doing....

Dudes, if you don't want to play the game, just the out of here, stop being jerks complaining about it just because you're too bad to even complete the first song, if you want your kongpanion, you still have 6 BotDs to get, and you only need 5. The only thing i do everytime i see SCGMD games as BotDs is get my free points and laugh at so many noobs complaining about it

The game itself lags which is a problem on many fronts. First off, the lag messes with timing and makes it look like you should have hit a note. This makes the core mechanics completely unresponsive. Secondly, IT'S A FLASH GAME!!!! WHY IS IT LAGGING AT ALL?! These games really need to be omitted from Badge of the Day because these games are completely worthless (and that's me being nice).

What completely baffles me is the fact that this game's average rating is (currently) 3.98, but I'm sure it will drop very, very quickly & very, very soon.

Butterfingers - make at least 1000 mistakes in any song.
Minimalist - let a song finish without pressing anything.

I imagine I'd have an easier time trying to play any of these songs in an actual physical guitar. Got the so called 'easy' badge, but that was only by almost perfecting the first song.

I started to play the game and I thought oh cool a game like guitar hero but on Kong that should be fun........ All I have to say is lag. I cant even enjoy it because of the immense amount of lag

As far as I can tell, there is no way to change the controls. It might actually be enjoyable if I could configure the game to use 4 keys that are in a row, but it's way too annoying to have to use the arrow keys for this type of game.

Any game that doesn't have mute or volume controls and features a menu screen that starts screaming gets an automatic 1 star from me.

... ... Wow, first song, very first thing I do is harder than an easy song should be at a few points, but mostly, if it's going to be the first thing which breaks you in, it should be half the length that it is. Oh, by the way everyone: toggle the effects and voice to "off", it helps.

If i find the guy who made these games or the guy who said 'lets make it a badge of the day' i am going to kill them. Slowly painfully and in such a way that they know they shouldnt screw an entire gaming comunity by saying something is 'easy' when it is nigh impossible. (this is a hypothetical version of events I do not not the identity of either person and im pretty sure i live in another country. PLEASE dont drag me to court)

Why do they keep badging these lagfests, to say nothing about making them games of the day? How can a game like this, much less a WHOLE FREAKING SERIES, RIGHT FROM GAME 1 UP UNTIL NOW, lag so freaking much? If it's due to the music being streamed from some site, here's a really simple solution... DON'T STREAM THE MUSIC! TRANSFER IT TO THE PLAYER'S COMPUTER *FIRST*, *THEN* PLAY THE SONG!!!!! So it'll take a few seconds before the song starts. So what? At least then it wouldn't lag right before you need to press a key until right after (the key you need to press teleporting itself right over the fret) making it impossible to get several times a minute. If you DO have all the music downloaded instead of streaming, then you seriously need to learn how to code efficiently instead of expecting your players to upgrade to the news, most expensive hardware to do your job for you.

Like the sequel to this...it doesn't do a great job of matching keys to the rhythm. And it seems not to correctly register keys right after making a mistake.
