Did you guys ever play that game that was like-it was like a really really simplistic form of Garage Band? Yeah, Punk-o-matic, yeah

Oups, sorry, the game is supposed to load with superNova by default, not Ruffle. Well, then the game will not load because of how Kongregate implemented superNova (for this game, the problem is that they did not take into account that this is a http page instead of a https one). The rest of my previous comment still stands: my user script will allow you to play it with either Flash or superNova.

Currently, the game cannot load due to how Kongregate implemented Ruffle. If you want to play it, read the following forum thread: https://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/1954038-usermade-solution-to-the-flash-games-situation and play with either Adobe Flash Player (if you have it working) or superNova.

To play this game with the SuperNova player, paste this in your browser: supernova://play/?swfurl=http://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0000/9305/live/scgmd3NA.swf?kongregate_game_version=1208519054

The Fade is hands down my favourite track in the game. The slower beat, haunting melody and touching lyrics make me wish the song will never end. I read the lyrics online and they're really meaningful. I enjoy the beat mapping for the song too, easy to recognise patterns that are simple to pick up but hard to master.

after 3 house moves and almost an entire decade , i can finally say that i've perfected all the songs and the impossible badge is mine !! good thing i managed to do it before flash dies later this year , thank you for all of the good times and many frustrations SCGMD - an almost 10-year weight has been lifted from my shoulders

@TheRedDragon37 Are you saying that rhythm has nothing to do in rhythm games? All the while claiming that having the song on is important?
The games you cited also have a rythm, in DS1 you press x to parry, and in the second you gotta parry as soon as the opponent's sword bounce off the field.
However, the first doesn't flash a "Z" on screen when you have to parry with x, nor make you parry at different instants (1.5 seconds before it hit the shield, 0.8 seconds after it hit the shield, etc.) every time you perform a parry, because it'd be breaking your rhythm/flow. Just like in this game with hits who aren't synced with the music and thus make no sense.

Continuing:
Last example:
Dark Souls 1 and 2, the PARRY system:
In DS1, the first ds that I played, the parry system was instant: you hit "x", you instantly parry.
In DS2, instead, the game said: "yo, your experience in ds1 means nothing. Now you take your parrying skills in ds1, you throw them in the bin, and then you start learning ds2 parry system: you parry upfront, to make so that, exactly when the foe's sword hits your shield, the sword bounces off."
Now I am quite good at parrying in both games, and in fact I think that I am able to judge both and to know the differences.
That was a pretty long answer XD

@KRMorben Your comparison is not good. I will explain why: being good at playing the guitar is very different from being good with PC rhythm games.
I will make you some examples:
1. I play wii baseball, which is very different from real baseball. Therefore, I do not even dare to judge real baseball players, because I know my comparison would be terrible. This is because Wii and real baseball are very different (you don't hit the ball with a Wii controller during real baseball competitions, do you?). I do not know if you get the point of this example.
What I mean is that your musical qualifications mean NOTHING. You are not playing a real guitar. You are playing with a keyboard. The exact reason why I do not dare to judge a real baseball player is because, to make a comparison, I MUST be good at both, to know the differences even better.
I am not so bad at SCGMD3, but I do not dare to judge your musical skills.

@TheRedDragon PMSL. As a musician with musical qualifications your comment amused me greatly. "I think that you should say this rhythm game sucks only if you have played many rhythm games, for some time, therefore only if you are an expert." I think I understand rhythm enough to be able to critcise this apology of a game.

Ah man I wanted that BotD.. this is a bit hard though. I don't think the keys are really in sync with the songs and the controls are awkward. I like the songs though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The first song has most of the key commands in sync with the song... the others just seem like random garbage or if you are lucky there are parts that make sense what they are trying to do... they are just desynced with the song and make it so it's easier to play with the audio turned off...

Not a fan of rhythm games to start with and the UI of this one is particularly clumsy with the separate keys for long and short notes. Since I have the other 6 BotD this week, hard pass.

I hate these twitchy games. The stages are way too long and the pace is all over the place. You go from waiting for something to do to having too many things on the screen at the same time. Not fun.
