Good game, but the second is definitely an improvement in all ways. The thing that I dislike about this version is that the birds are too hardy, sometimes taking more than 3 hits to kill. Since they can get off of the screen much faster (and are not affected by traps), they should not be harder to kill than the hedgehogs. It can get frustrating on the levels where they figure prominantly.

Does anyone know if Mush Madness 3 is coming our way?? I love Mush Madness 1 and 2 and would really like a third. It's been awhile but haven't heard anything.....

i wonder why almost every animal in the forest go for the mushrooms 1. it gives you the shlits and is mushrooms the only thing they eat?

wow if a hedgehog is carrying a mushroom and its killed with a trap the mushroom disappears
and you don't lose the level, and also the animals will wander around aimlessly.
i did that with a level with only 1 mushroom and i got to relax :D

Have you even noticed how insanely hard it is to do all the challenges on levels 17 and 18 even for a hard difficulty despite all the maxed out upgrades?
I get that the intention is to make the game fun by making it challenging, but if it's not balanced it becomes outright frustrating.
There are at least 2 big flaws:
- The Tommy Gun
In the early game it's kinda helpful, but later on it becomes so left behind that not only it's useless, it's also a hindrance since the damage remains the same; outbalanced even by the swatter.
Why not be able to upgrade the Tommy?
- The Traps
When there are a quadrillion animals to kill out there, how am I supposed to pick up a trap, predicting the exact tile the animals will step on and then place it? Either I misplace it quickly and waste it or I take one second too much and place it right but lose a ton of mushrooms and one or two glades, the pros are cancelled out.
