The Demon Gate needs ALOT of work.. need a rally point on it, or at least make it so that the demons it summons can walk through the wall.. Just tried to use it on the Arena Level, and keep losing as the demons keep spawning on the other side of the wall and get stuck, so arent attacking any enemies.

Awesome game! Some suggestions though, the skills need some adjusting, the price gets really high really fast, but the benefit of a point stays the same. Paying 8 gold for another 1% increase is a bit nuts. Either the benefit should be increased or the price decreased. If you are trying to encourage players to use a variety of traps try making each subsequent trap of the same kind on a stage cost more. Also, it would be really nice to be able to sell traps. Setting up a trap because of a door is nice, but after the door is broken I often don't want it there anymore. Also, if I make a mistake placing a trap I am screwed, with a sell button at least I can get back some of that cash.
Thanks for your awesome feedback! The same trap getting expensive idea sounds good. By the way, the game allows you for selling traps by right clicking on the trap. Sorry about the lack of tutorial for it.

-Beat stage 'Lost Royals' with 2/3 gems, was awarded Slime Trap instead of Snare. Beat 'Lost Royals' with 3/3 gems, still no Snare.

Problem with Demon Portals; the spaws, besides being manual, are dumb and random. They usually just bump into a wall and stay there... u cant respawn them and they cant reach the heroes by themselves, thus becoming useless

Sometimes the spring traps throw guys into places where they get stuck. On Crumble Zone I had one guy get thrown into my base, but on the left side of it so he was just stuck sitting around in the fire ball. I eventually put a dart gun next to him and killed him.

boulder cavern is impossible. not enough starting gold, the cd on the reusable wont help enough either. also, cannot level spike trap past 3, altho missing 3/3 on Lost Royals and Gateway so maybe that is why. have 1 red gem left over and cannot spend -.-

There's not enough choice to take this game into the 'defense' genre. This is a puzzle with TD mechanics. The game has a very nice feel to it and has a lot of potential, but currently fails in the most basic formula for defense games: Multiple nontrivial solutions to a single problem.

What's with all the alpha-status games appearing? My options menu is empty and many features supported by other TD games are missing: reset button for upgrades, tower upgrades in game, workable pause function, etc. Like this, it is rather boring

A good game so far, I just have a couple of comments
1) Can we have some numbers so we can have a bit more understanding of the traps.
2) I may have missed something but I am unsure what the other number is when you kill something. One is gold I know that.
3) Upgrades seem a little insignificant. Though changing this I would imagine would cause some balancing issues.

The Tunnel is passable using only spike trap and push trap... even without push trap spike itself is enough... Bit too strong? ^^

Lost Royals Level impossible too. Good start but then it goes from "easy, well balanced" to "impossible, balance, what is balance, lol"

The Steam Greenlight Sure button opens the Steam page inside the game iframe. Not good at all. It should open in a new window.

@Groquest : Strategy possibily is lacking, we can't act when overcrowded. 1-Give us a Playable Pause, to breath & think. 2-need a slow button 3-Sellback trap feature for a % : the enemy path is evolutive, why we can't do the same. 4-lvl up should give us a small advantage (perks to master traps & +5 starting gold par lvl. 5-The cost for upgrading is not balanced, it's way too expensive after lvl3. 6- i would like to zoom out to see the entire map, come on ;) graphics are not so amazing that we need a POV on them. 7-Snare is bugged, i have to select it twice somethimes, can't explain why. 8-block is a litlle too expensive + i would like to place dart or Push on it. 8-I see some rocks (not boulder), i would like to use Push trap to move them to block the path more efficiently. 9- if you add a non linear way to move in the general map (multiple choice like gemcraft), with more traps to unlock and more stage to try, you will have a REALLY AMAZING GAME :) 10-Good work & Fun Game

demon portal should be automatically reinforcement. When I have more than 4 demon portal in 1 map. I'm too busy to do other things.

In Hapazard it is possible to push enemies over the pit and into the portal. Twice now this has resulted in me losing lives and kept me from a perfect victory.

1/5 stars. This game is frustrating. This is very, very bad. Challenge is good, but I have to replay some levels 5+ times because the solution is counter-intuitive or just pure luck. Crumble Zone is particularly noteworthy in this regard. Victory is completely random. Enemies MUST be hit by mine carts or you'll lose a dozen lives before you can build enough defenses to protect yourself. Tunnel is still broken. I have played that a dozen times and as far as I can tell it is impossible to get a perfect score. Most of the time I just get annihilated because the barriers are too weak and creating a maze is too expensive. I have played that map a dozens times (literally) and only beat it ONCE, and this is after the difficulty was decreased. I simply can not afford enough traps to kill the enemies. I have no idea how I beat it that one time. I have not been able to duplicate that victory.

Was having fun until I just felt like I hit a brickwall in terms of difficulty, also, an ability to sell traps is a MUST, I remember I played a box near an unplayable area and lost 600g for good!

Reset ability button is a MUST, also selling towers in a game is a MUST, leveling towers in a game is a MUST. This game has potential :)

Also, @dev, the hotkey for ~ is different in different countries, you may consider using another, as danes has to press alt gr and a key next to the "enter" buttom.

Well this is pretty great. I hope you'll do a DRM free version too, and not just Steam. I'm not sure why I like this so much more than most tower defense games... something about the trap mechanic and not needing to mess around with upgrades. Only thing I'd like to see is some kind of forewarning when upcoming waves will be following a new path. Like an indicator on the wave bar on the left.

Phew, got already bored on the second level, I just spammed spikes and darts and watched (feeled) half an hour how to invaders died and nothing happened gameplay wise.
Visuals are borgin even for a pixelart and the music is repentive and monoton.
No chance for any upvote on Steam Greenlight

So I found a bug/abuse with the demon portals: during the setup phase, you can buy a demon portal, summon a demon, then sell the demon portal back for 100%. This allows you to start any level with (nearly) infinite demons. I assume this is not intended, since it makes winning any level trivial.
Great game though, 4 stars!
