Don't listen to these fools! This game is great, and if you know how to look for receivers, pass interference isn't an issue. I love it!

The mobile version is amazing. Costs like $1 for the full game (not a sponsor). But as many has pointed out, the pass interference is a bit annoying. I would love to see an update where I have offensive options, where I can chose what plays to call. If I'm stressed for time, I cannot choose a hail Mary and go all Aaron Rodgers on the Lions. All in all, a lot of bang for your (literal) buck. Probably one of the best mobile games I've ever played for that price.

Played through 10+ seasons. As others have said, players enjoy having wrestling matches more than actually running their routes. O-line is non-existent even if you draft them. WRs also randomly decide to not run routes properly. Game inexplicably lags. Also expect your entire offense or defense to be randomly all out injured at the same time. "Game" is designed to cause rage.

Game decides before each week whether or not that week's game will be winnable. No amount of skilled play can win an 'unwinnable' match. Fun, engrossing, ultimately too flawed for long-term replay

Passing is broken, as DB's constantly molest your WR's &/or intercept everything you put in the air. WR's also fail to run block. Stamina needs a serious buff too. A [ skip ] option allowing auto-play would be fantastic. Would be nice if there were longer contracts for drafted players & more rounds in the draft. Some strategy integrated into FA signings would be appreciated, perhaps a contract scrren where years & total salary are established, instead of just flat year/$$. Sneaky interesting game here, fix it up & you could really have something.

@dicklittle269, there is exactly the feature you want in the settings menu (the wrench at the bottom left) -- the "Drive Direction" setting controls whether you're always going left, right, or both.

Would be great to hear if there's going to actually be an update to the game or if it's going to be left to die while they focus on the mobile version.

Game was loads of fun until I realized if I get a 5 star WR and a QB with a decent arm, then I can just run a streak route. It is a 100% chance the WR will leave the defender in the dust, plus it's an easy throw to make.
Still a great game. Played it for hours. Would love to see it develop further. Maybe a phone app like New Star Soccer/Manager. 5/5

1) Agree on TEs.
2) Since I throw to RBs all the time I think a good QB and RB are the thing
3) Coordinators seem to help when you don't have a player in the position (roster shortage or injury). I'm on my "dream" team and immediately hired two 4# coordinators. Even the back-up RB does a lot of stiff-arms.
4)Seems that experience level matters more than the skills. I inherited a nothing RB in terms of skills but lvl 9. I have to rest him a lot but he catches the ball well and plows through multiple tackles.

First 3 seasons with starting club 5/5. Enjoyable. Moved club to a team that got to semis in my final year... They had 2 players both 1 star each and 1 star coaches. Nothing i could do with that. Game is utterly terrible to play if the teams not good. Can't even play my socks off to make my team just about compete.

So after reading the stat descriptions, it seems like for OL, counter-intuitively, strength is completely useless and tackling is really the only stat that matters
is this in fact the case?

just completed 100% achievments:
-the injuries are too frequent with full rehab facility
-the passes dropped are too frequent with 5* off coord and high catch stat
-thank you it was fun

Kraz31, the only way I got 150 rushing yards was in the first full season against a one star defense. After that first season, your RB's stiff arm doesn't work against the cheat defenses.

Fantastic game. One suggestion though: Instead of the direction of play changing with each quarter, I'd like to have the option of choosing to go left or right on every drive. Depending on whether you're right or left-handed, it really makes a big difference and it would really be nice to have that option.

This game is great. Not being American, I care nothing for the rules, and know nothing about the positions. I just give the ball to my RB and keep going till he gets flattened - he got all but 1 of my touchdowns last season. Won the Bowl in my second full year. Now going to try an unbeaten season.

NIce game. Havent had the pass interference call yet!!! Loving it!! Love the easy management of roster and facilities!!!

Alright, I completed 10 seasons with 8 championships (couldn't get past the Chiefs the first two years). Here's some thoughts: 1) TEs are useless. I tried an offense with two 4 star TEs and it was the worst offense I ran. They just fall over all the time. No point in spending any cap space on them. 2) 150 rushing yards feels impossible. Not sure how I ever got 100. No point in spending much cap space on RBs. 3) I can't tell what coaches do. They don't seem to gain experience and level up. Towards the end I had two 5 star because I more coach credits than I needed. Don't hire a coach without a trait. 4) Kickers being praised for a good defensive performance is annoying. 5) Pass interference can be frustrating but you should quickly learn who is going to be open pre-snap (it's almost never the TE) and your second read. 6) If you're down by more than 3 points, get asked if you want to kick a FG is annoying. 7) QB getting injured sucks. 8) Not sure what the tackle stat does for OL.

I think the pass interference is actually caused by the WR's blocking. If you notice for run plays, the WR's keep running their routes, they make no attempt to block for the run. There may be a line of code that says when the ball passes the line of scrimmage, for the WR to attempt to block. But if the ball is in possession to only block if they are in the area.
TL;DR: I don't think it's defensive holding. I think it's the WR's blocking. Which would make sense because the Defense can intercept anything anyway. They don't need to hold.

Also why is every team's defence faster than my offense? I have a 5-Star offence and I've never run more than 10 yards for a touchdown in 3 seasons
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Somehow I passed the ball out of bounds in their end zone and then it just declared TOUCHDOWN and gave the other team 7 points
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Enjoyed it for awhile. The pass interference is ridiculous. The cheat here is to have a good RB and just do sweeps every play, but by passing not handing off, easily gaining first downs methodically. Even the best defenses have trouble stopping it. The lame part is the use of fumbles, pathing, and bouncing as a difficulty adjustment. My WR will run the field on one team, then the next team with the same full condition he ignores passes, fumbles the ball into the secondaries hands, and becomes unreliable. The running back is the only player I had that performed consistently.
There needs to be a better way to pick plays than to click incessantly and cycling through a random selection.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Played through two full seasons before I realized that if I double click I can change plays. Now I can be a little less upset at my offensive coordinator for having 3 curls when I need to go 40 yards to win
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you throw the ball and someone touches it, pushing the ball out of bounds, it counts as a catch and you move there. This happened to me in the end zone, it showed my team lined up in the end zone, gave me a touchdown and gave me the ball again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
don't you hate it when in your bye week you get the choice between giving your 5* coach XP (which does nothing for him as far as I can tell) and +10 to your fan rating which is already at 100%. Bye bye, bye week I guess

robinmtb: the aiming arcs length depends on the accuracy of your quarterback. if he only has skill level 1 you see less than half, at skill level 11 or 12 you see almost all of it (certainly where it can already be caught) for me 6 or 7 is good enough the only QB stat i care less about is speed
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Iam on Year 11 i lost my best Players because the Salary Cap lay by 150 Mio but my QB Cost now 54 Mio Alone
i Need more Money but i see no Way for It. If I Win the Season i become 10 Mio more next Year but if i Loose too.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why was the aiming arc cut in half? It was tricky enough to aim before.. Now all the fun is gone and turned into frustration for me :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
looks like how strong a team is that you switch to matter not at all, I switched to a 5*/5* team and got only 1-2* players with bad attitude. the only thing you keep is your coach credits, which certainly helps
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
mooredog: trading IN a player can be done with a random event. sometimes another team offers you a player for a pick in the next draft. Of course in order to get that you cant have 10 players already and you must have salary cap room left.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too many random negative events that happen even if you win the game! A double loss of morale or credits after a win is not fun. Costs for coaches, players and upgrades seem way too high compared to credits earned.
