It would be good to be able to upload or choose custom blocks. Just makes me feel old because they remind me of the atari days. OMG sigh :/

I usually don't like mind bending puzzles, but strangely, i'm very happy when i finally beat some hard levels (And i'm not even talking about the awesome music!)
So... 5/5 :)

I do find this game quite unique. However unique or not, *I* love colourful games where I have to turn my brain on to solve them. 3D Logic was great, and this is quite awesome too. *-* Love it.

@Savior42, indeed! The music even reminds me of old Nintendo's Ninja Gaiden - which is not a bad thing, I love those 8-bit-game songs. :D

first 39 levels were easy then I got stuck on lvl 40 for a while but then I got frustrated and started doing some mad deduction in a fit of rage and completed the level xD, don't know what to think maybe you could put a "strategy" page in somewhere so when people are stuck they can go there to get ideas to try, I don't mean hints, I mean teaching people how to narrow down the possibilities and shift between different approaches to get their mindcogs going
Well, there is a link from in-game to the Hints page which has solutions to all of the levels plus some "hints" on how to play better. I don't want to clog the Instructions page with long and lousy tries to describe how to think as I am not even entirely sure how I am doing it. I think Thomas08536's description is the best I heard so far :).
Ok. Your game has weird title, 1/5. Your game is wider than higher, 1/5. I live in Poland and Polish is my primary language, why is it so weird that I allow people to chose Polish if they know the language? Furthermore, why should it matter to anyone? Be happy that you can chose language, and remember about it next time you are playing non-English game, that you can have choice. Would French + English be less weird? Dutch + English? Chinese + English?
I like it better, sorry ;). And yes, heard of that game, and it's not a copy, more like a variation on the theme - notice that you don't have "bended reality" like in 3D Logic, just flat, two dimensional space. And indeed, the original inspiration for the game was 3D Logic.

Lol at the recent change in the description. Would have missed it if I didn't come back to finish those last few levels :) Nice work D!

Great game! But:
- you should add ctrl+z function (erase last action);
- when game has lost focus and I return to it, i always make wrong path, can you fix it?
Haha, I'd disagree, but I guess it's just that I am a coder for over half a decade now. Two years ago I'd probably be stumped by a vision of writing a Pathfinding algorithm, but right now it is just a please to optimise as much as possible :).
Copy implies that I played the game you mentioned, and it is the first time I ever heard of that game. Please, really, people, can't you refrain from making such comments?

Isn't there an eraser? It's annoying to restart the whole level because I accidentally drew a block in the wrong place.

You know what ? This game remind me my electronics courses back in High School, where we had to draw some circuits board. That's totally the same principle. By the way, good game.

loved it. mind-boggling difficult, only up to level 25 so far >_< as for other games of this kind Numberlink, or what is more popularly known in japan as Nanbarinku, is almost essentially the exact same game except using numbers instead of colours. small difference in that for Nanbarinku it is essentially 'Number Pairs' whereas here you can get singles or triplets etc. Still got to say its pretty unique here, but I grew up playing games like Sudoku and Nanbarinku in a monthly puzzle mag so ya =p
I confess, I knew of Numberlink before I released Flash version of Linx (though not before the first, downloadable one). But as you noted, the gameplay is still pretty different so in my humble opinion it stand well well on its own as a game :).

This is fun. I wish there was an undo button. (I know you can change colors, but if you put an extra block down you have to start all the way over.) Still a good game.

I really realy should give a minus for just supplying a third of the level sets on Kongregate, but the 40 levels available will do for still having 5/5...

Love this game, everything from gameplay to music. The controls are fast but at times (just like in the halfcube versions) you paint a little too wide, but I can like wth that. Full points!

This is not "3d logic in 2d", this is a straight 3d logic clone. Not complaining (clones are fine in my book so long as the creator makes original levels), I just wanted to point out that 3d logic was essentially a 2-dimensional game all along (the half-surface of a cube is still, well, a surface).
And here you are mistaken. Notice that in 3D logic you have three surfaces, A, B and C. A connects to both B and C, B connects to both A and C and C connects both to A and B. It is impossible to copy levels from 3D logic to this game without introducing unintended solutions, and 3D logic was limited by its pretty small area on each side, whereas Linx has a rather large surface.

At first I was all "Yay style of puzzle game that I like!" And then I played it and liked the implementation. And -then-, I turned the music on :D Toilet Story ftw~ Chiptunes make everything better

I wish it didn't stop me putting paths down once i reach the limit. I like to connect all like colors and consolidate after.

It's quite disappointing to see all my saved data be erased along with the new update. I'll rate considering this modification and pure apathetic attitude towards my time.

One thing I would have liked would be a blank square button. A couple of levels I slipped the mouse a square and rather than put to blank to erase it I had to restart it because I was over the limit.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@kingofthemousey already have one button to it, and this button is spacebar. It's funny when you hold space together with the mouse on the last tile to complete a color, the whole screen stay trembling with an intense white light.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
level 5 confused me for quite a while. I kept trying to find the second white square before I realized that I had to connect it to itself. Which was explained in the next level.

I think I was around level 19 when I noticed the banner at the bottom advertising Linx: Hard edition for those who were "bored and unchallenged," That's about the time I started getting concerned.

The erase capability is very important and should be on-screen instead of hidden in the options menu for players to discover.
