I like after you cake it starts a new, but I feel it may have been better to change more of the game mechanics. Or make that a sequel. It's like I worked so hard to get there, and then it just starts over?!

This threads on the very edge of "fun" and "not fun" with the starting over from scratch on level 2 with no gain from having done level 1. Had it occurred once more on a third level i would have quit probably since the grind sucks.

i either ran out of time or its a nice lil easter egg,, if you try to purposefully make your parent feed you by getting 0 coins you will starve..

Hmm, fat burger seems to reduce endurance gains from broccoli, therefore go all fat burger, or a combination of protein and broccoli, so far all fat burger seems better, at least at the beginning of the game.

Eating 5 broccoli in a row or so gives more energy, note I haven't tested this enough times to be sure, it may start out at lower amounts and rise. Eating 4-5 proteins, fish/tofu does not seem to give any bonuses. Fat burger seems to give no penalty. Therefore, a combination of broccoli and fat burgers seem best, since protein is just an expensive fat burger.

Forcing the player to repeatedly do the same thing to grind money and skills, then finishing a level to lose all his progress, and then to do more grinding in a path that he can see *does not* lead to the finish - this is an exact opposite of fun.

This game must have an "Educational" tag. It helps to realize some obvious things about physical development which some of us (including me) tend to ignore.

grind grind grind grind. should start with FAR higher stats so you get some time to actually play a game rather than repeating the same tiny tiny section over and over until you earn enough money to progress another 5 pixels

Can you maybe implement the Button Z to be the same as Y? There are some countries who have a qwertz keyboard layout. Would help immensely.

Uh.... once you beat the first level, if you press z 2 times quickly, it skips to the end of the game... Is this a bug or intentional?

Honestly the only thing I don't like is the things ripped from mario. The ground, the brick blocks, the question mark blocks, the coins. The "goombas" looked awesome! Remake the rest to have a similar aesthetic.

For those who were wondering : burgers slightly decrease max stamina, veggies slightly increases it, proteins have no effect on max stamina.
It stacks overtime, especially if you eat a bunch of brocoli everyday, but I'm not sure how much of an advantage it gives regarding making a quicker run.

An interesting game. I thought it a see how far you could go game with upgrades. And maybe it should be. The second level seems like a good reason to give up. Add some more skills found deeper in the level. Also, there are some placement issues. On the first level, trying to get the low coin block in the middle, I got hit by a goon as I was jumping and got knocked on top of the coin block. On level two, I punched the first good and it fell off, touched the bottom and then bounced back to the single middle block. And in several areas, I run out of breath standing off the ground. This is a great start and I see some potential,but some work is needed.

I love how the protein has tofu as an option! Also, platformer and upgrade combined made this such an amazingly fun game! I wish there was more content to play through! Please make a sequel!!

So I discovered a possible softlock. In the early area with two Goomba-like enemies, if you stomp (possibly punch) the first, it loses its hitbox for a bit. You and a second enemy can enter this hitbox before it returns. The second enemy seems to trap both in place (they rapidly change direction but don't move). If you, however, are also touching this enemy-duo AND are close enough to a pipe, you become stuck and unable to play your "tired" animation to end the day.

As far as I can tell, the controller decreases strength by one. It may do a random stat, but after one I stopped using it.

after finding the last powerup and seeing what it does, alongside the more realistic stat mechanic on a mario-clone, i noticed a through line. and i was so excited to see if it was elsewhere! commentary on videogames being all consuming and depleting your stats, the prize being something that undoes everything you've accomplished.
The first level ending with a prize not being the end, but just starting again.... Are you gonna keep playing? you denied the rule of 3 (everything seems to come in threes) and only 2 levels feels so...empty. I have to think that was on purpose. Give the player a taste of more. Do you play a second level? Did you like it? Want more? And after the second, just stop. No more. Thats it. You're done. Go outside. Go away.
And the credits were perfect. The whole gameplay hinged on a stat mechanic that made every little move count in a tangible way. Then the actual reward for finishing the game was freeplay. Beautiful reward.

There is currently a glitch in this game where you can jump on a goomba under a ?block and phase through it. This si very useful for reaching higher when you are low stamina but should be fixed

cool game, fun lil time waster... TBH though could have been a better game without the preaching. i was kinda like... awww... thats a shame...

nice game. Good parody of a certain other jump and run game with pipes and ?-Blocks. But please allow us to use both, Y and Z for the active key, because its annoying to play with QWERTZ keyboard. As for the 2nd part of the game: I would like to see something like some max energy remaining or like a certain start energy each day that you no longer need to refill in the 2nd half.
You know what, I have NEVER heard of a QWERTZ keyboard until now. I understand the problem. You can use C and V as alternate keys to Z and X. This should be easier than reaching for the Z up there.
Next game is gonna have fully remappable controls... Thanks for your comment!
