I remember playing this game nearly 10 years ago. Its the soundtrack that randomly popped in my head and after a bit of digging around I found it again. Gotta love that sound track!

Have to give compliments to the unique bestiary (even though it was small) as well as the nice BG artwork. It's a great start on creating an RPG game.

I'm sure this game has long since been abandoned, but I would love you to port the controls to WASD and make the fighting commands 1,2,3,4,... This would streamline the playing IMMENSELY by reducing the amount of jumping from keys to mouse and back... It seems this game should be easy enough to port to mobile, as well! Great first offering... especially for way back in 2007! Off to play Ch. 2 and maybe see what else you've done since then!!!

I was on my way back to the ship after pulling the lever and somehow I am stuck at the bottom of the screen in some trees after a random encounter. (This is probably the same bug as Lybringer mentioned).
I think I lack the patience to restart this game, especially from the start.

Yeah, I did ring the bell and I still can't pull the lever. I found it before the bell and he said 'I don't want to touch it,' then when I rang the bell and talked to the captain (who told me to go pull the lever), I couldn't interact w/ it anymore. So yeah. Great glitch. 1/5.

It is possible - and not so hard, but rather tedious - to beat the game on hard without dying. The whole thing is to hang on the beach parts figthing vehs til max. level, when birds are no longer a threat. Two nectars and four herbs should be enough for final fight. Great little game :)

after getting killed 3 or 4 times in a row by the male V-thing ... i was done with this game. used every heal i had, every double-strike, just couldn't get past it. phooey.

WTF? The game is good except for the part where you get in a fight with friggin snow birds. You kill one of them and then another one summones another in it`s place. This part is friggin retarded.

I did stuff in this order: i - go get the worm like totallymady says and then talk to the old man, ii - go ring the bell and then talk to the old man, iii - go flip the switch, iv - talk to the old man at any odd time really. It worked for me.

i'm stuck too by the lever, and the funny thing is when i talk again to the old man, he call us "lazy kid", like if we haven't try to switch the damn lever.

Cute little old game but spent forever looking for the damn bell because I didn't notice the path in the trees! And.. what's the point of the final monster giving exp?

Paths poorly marked, I got everything else before I could find that stupid bell, which I only managed to do after googling up a map by someone, then it wasn't clear how i was going to ring it, spacebar all around it didn't seem to do anything and I had no idea if I had already rung it and it skipped the animation. I could go on... but 1/5.

I can't use the lever when I am supposed to. I already finished the game before and I don't think I missed anything. Is this a bug or am I missing something I forgot? I already rang the bell and the captain told me to use the lever in order to open the gate.

I liked the art, the movements whats good too but there's no stats to see, no upgrades, no health bars for the monsters. I hope number two is much better. This badge was way too easy to be a medium badge but I don't assign them. I give it a 2/5
