This game is super fun, but for some reason I can't buy the next skill even tho I already bought the power shot... Any idea why?

fun fact: you can clip into walls by pressing a box against a wall and then dashing into the box. you can use this to softlock the orb levels by getting the orb without triggering the event that allows you to leave, and also making it so the event cant trigger. the only way to escape is by resetting your save file

Got the red orb, managed to JUST miss the platform and fall in the lava. Level restarted, but I already had the orb -- but it wouldn't let me leave ("you should take the orb with you"). No way out, so refreshed the page. Now I have to start over, as "continue" isn't available, despite my saves...

also, during the first boss fight (the giant bat) i noticed that energy will recharge even if the game is paused, so that might also be something you might want to look into.

That troll boss is ridiculously difficult because you cant even see where enemies are, and cant coordinate jumps bc of random bullet spam in a tiny space. That weird blurr effect is also blinding.

'You want me to save everybody's lives and the village?'
'Yes.'
'I am going to fight a boss, and risk my life, but I need frost arrows.'
'..Yes'.
'I don't have 400 coins. I reached the save point here. I cant collect coins here.'
'Yes.'
'You still want to price gauge me even though I am saving everyone's life?'
'Ya lol'

Finally got the game to start playing, but after 15 or so minutes it started to lag a bit. Shortly after the first boss it nearly froze my computer. Checked in task manager to find 2.9 GB of RAM being used. Intense memory leakage or what? Still 2/5, because it's out of one problem and into another.

I can walk around town and talk to everyone, but when I enter the dungeon the screen is just black. I tried starting a new game and trying again, and it's the same result. I can still hear myself walking around, dashing, jumping, shooting and even accessing and maneuvering the menu. But it's all black. I can see the slider for an area transition close, then open back up, but it's all black. My rating will be 2/5 until I can actually play, because this is a ridiculous bug.

This was a wonderful game. I would definitely play a full version of this game since it seems that there is a lot of potential to expand on the platforming mechanics of this game. The dashing and wall jumping in this game seem like they would be great ways to make more intricate levels and hide hidden secrets in the levels.

Nice game. Is there a template for these games btw? I remember playing Dandy Cave Explorer that uses the same wood platform and also the coins and the main hero's design.

Seems to be some kind of bug with saving, it keeps starting me out with the same 16 coins and the same old start point of progress. I've used the blue save checkpoints spots both in town and in the first dungeon. It will say that 'progress saved!' etc every time. But then it doesn't seem to actually do it. I have even told it to start a new game and played from scratch. Doesn't matter though, because every time I load the game, it always starts me back at that same old progress point from way early on when I first checked out the game. I enjoy the game but it's getting old having to replay and re-grind coins to level up in that first dungeon every time I load the game. Shouldn't the save feature remember the new start point and not the old one, after you tell it to save? It's been frustrating. Other than that, I really enjoy the game. Just wish the new saves would actually be saved, instead of always loading that one old save point no matter what.

favorite game on the site. i made an account just to rate it 5 stars and tell you that i've played it dozens of times now.

Finished the game and Loved it. Controls are a bit awkward but once figured out not bad. I want more. I would be willing to spend some Kong creds to help you develop the next game. Reminds me of the old shareware side scrollers.

It's so difficult to read any of the text. I didn't even leave the village before deciding it's not worth the eye strain.

Dear developper, please consider that there are other keyboards like qwertz in germany. You automatically lower the amount of possible players with a fixed keys. Greetings

The second boss has a fire switch that doesn't do anything. I flip it and the only exit is through the exit no backtracking is allowed. Am I missing something?

Just thought i'd mention, it's very easy to get stuck inside the walls by either dashing into a box leaning up against a wall, or putting portals in mid air near walls.

I am sorry to say it this way. But the controlling logic indeed is horrible. 90% of the cases he does no wall jump, so I keep dying for ages.
Other than that, cute game.

Please allow the player to change the controls freely. For me, the attack and jump buttons are completely ass-backwards, and I died many times do to pressing the wrong button. I know that there are two profiles, but it's more of a lefty-righty thing than a proper solution.

I was stuck in the blue orb room as I failed to solve the puzzle and pressed B to exit and would like to restart the dungeon again. However, the portals are not placed at the beginning and I cannot reach them anymore X(
