Anyone know how to deal with the poison shrews? I've tried stun killing, I've used abilities that make me other impenetrable to damage, I've tried reducing their health so that their own poison kill them. Whatever I do I get hit with 50-70hp in poison damage when they die. Combined with the porcupine duos blocking my access to cards. I'm basically stuck.

Love the game but how does the Mantra system work? I save my game and get my code but it never works if i die? is that how it works?

Great game overall! my only issue is with the mantra system being buggy saying "That is not your mantra" even though I just saved 3 hours ago and keeping a note on my latest save code. Still a great game,
looking forward to new updates! :D

Is it just me, or does this game have insane difficulty spikes? At certain floors you just instantly go from being able to handle fights to 'here's something that one-shots you in one turn if you don't get a good hand', and it's not even an elite.

The return button on the water bowl room doesn't work if you drink from it, which makes it impossible to actually get anything from it.

I'm on the dungeon map screen, and the game seems broken: the room description text is offset from the boxes, and clicking neither lets me enter a room or advance in any way.

Some basic proofreading before publishing would've been in order: in my very first fight I have two copies of the Iron Skin card in my hand, each with the mis-formatting "BLock".

its not an RPG if i can never gain any kind of progress because its all thrown away completely at the end of each run.

Making chests with random drops, some of which buffs you, in a game where you have to farm all the elites to buff the character, otherwise you won't be able to progress further, this is just a mocking idea. The game turns into a super boring pastime with chest rolling and F5 until you get what you need. Well, a very interesting gameplay... And to get a weakening from the chest, well, it's just a direct forcing the player to press F5.

There may be a problem with the Owlzymandius event. I offered to help and got stuck on a screen to "Give a gift" with no option to complete or cancel the action.
Sorry to hear that. It's really new. And although I've tested, there's bound to be some issues. I'll investigate. Next time, try a refresh and see if that resolves it.

After you jump on the fires to restore HP, when you go to the location page, everything falls off. You only see a black screen. But the chat and interface remain.

Good game. It hurts a little when your character dies and you have to restart, so I imagine that I will stop playing it eventually due to that.

Isn't 22 "Curse Card: Create a Curse" cards too many for one necromancer in one turn, and all my cards go to the discard pile?

Bug Report: Attack icons are not visible over the heads of the wildcat warriors and turtles. They just don't fit on the screen. Sometimes, when a Warrior player attacks with an AoE, the mobs are placed in a different way and the icons become barely visible. But even then, the numbers are still not visible. They don't fit all the way in. Also, the icons above those pirates with a bunch of attacks always don't fit completely. And this, too, can be rebuilt and they become better visible. Maybe when mobs move on the screen, when their number changes.

I went into someone's battle, my move is not available, as if I had already left. Shields 0, of course. The mobs hit me and I died. It was a 40+ floor and such a nice build...

Really enjoyed myself while playing the game. Once a few lag issues gets fixed and the game gets refined I will play it more, but I like the game so far and will follow to see how it goes.

I like the game, but it's not playable on laptop without extra screen: I don't seem to find a way to scroll the screen up to see what the opponent's attacks are going to do and that is a crucial part of the gameplay. (the same happens with very tall opponents on a bigger screen).
Also, the full screen button doesn't seem to work.
Currently the best solution seems to be to zoom your browser out a step or two. I know it's not ideal.
You're in an iframe, so the full screen won't work, unfortunately.

Let's talk about darkfall rat necromancers. Having 20k HP is way too much, but sure, it is supposed to be a challenge. Summoning allies with 1k HP? Overpowered, but still managable. However healing spell. That healing spell! They can heal all their health in one turn. They are virtually unkillable because of that.
Nice that you got that far! Darkfall rooms are rooms where people should be working together. Either overdamaging together or purging their stun resist off and re stunning, etc.
They're definitely tough because of that heal. It's something I'll have to tune at some point. Thanks for playing!

I thought Kong was dead and only checked it on a whim, and I was awestruck by this. People are still making great games on Kong!!! Despite the black and white figures on coloured graphics looking a bit odd, I gave it a shot. Very surprised and very impressed. As Caton says, this game has big potential. The multiplayer component is very unique. It's weirdly imbalanced, since a team of 4 coordinated friends will steamroll through, whereas a solo player will have a much more difficult time progressing, but... I don't dislike it, weirdly enough. If the game gets traction, you could have a "solo mode", and of course, if there are too many players, you'll need multiple instances anyway, but I like the novelty. The game does get a bit repetitive though. I reached level 94 with another player and gameplay felt very samey, but I understand that the game is still very early in development, so more content is coming. Keep up the good work!

the mantra/rest mechanic seems to be broken. i get "null" with no option to return to the game. just stuck on the mantra screen.
Hi there! The game is currently at a stage where I'm re-balancing and starting a new dungeon nightly. Unfortunately those saved games don't persist into a new dungeon.
I'll try to handle broken mantras a little more elegantly in the future.

I have a weird bug to report. My character died, I get the 'Begin Again?' button, but when I click it I get another pop up with 'Leave Site?' instead of a restart.

Fun! A creative multiplayer aspect that surprised and confused me at first but I learned what's up pretty quickly. Only my second playthrough so lots to check out. So far, I really like it :) Discord link not working for me? Love the game so far.

The game has big potential. It needs some extra balancing though. For example, I was killed by an Elite spider which was webbing me twice per turn till a point where I didn't draw any cards per turn which rendered me completely defenseless to his attacks. Other than the balancing I don't see any other major flaws for the game, combats are intriguing, drawings are nice, upgrade system is great. 4 out of 5 from me on this one.
Thanks very much for the feedback! I too have been an unfortunate victim of the spider web debuff.
It used to be a big problem (the spider web debuff card could be re-used and they were applying it over and over.) Now I've left them with two in their inventory and they expire on first use. But I could still see it being a problem if you get unlucky. (It happened to me the other night with multiple spiders at a time, but I was ready for it)
I'll knock it down to one. Still an interesting mechanic and it will provide some pain without being not-fun.
This change will be applied in the next lull in server traffic :)
