You should add a counter to all the achievements so we know the progression of them. So for instance with building 100 cannons while playing as the French there should be a X/100 progress counter next to it. That way we can have an idea of how close or far we are away from getting the achievements. Anyone agree?

did anyone else notice that its mor expensive to upgrade a palisade to an earthworks then to just buy an earthworks? IT COSTS 110 TO UPGRADE and even without selling the palisade it only costs 100 to buy an earthworks

I wish there was a way to make the cannons hold fire. 'Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes' kind of thing. I wish I could wait until there was a nice line of soldiers in range, then let the cannons fire. Since they take so very, very long between shots, I want to make the most of them.

@silverfalcon07: Same, massed greenjackets just mow down anything that come within their considerable range. After getting them stacked three to four deep the engineers can't even touch the walls. Something that might add some challenge is if the opposing force could roll in some field artillery or mortars in the later stages to keep you on your toes, it would also force some development of your own fort artillery as a counter.

I have to disagree with you guys saying that the cannons ALL have the same stats because that is wrong.What I have noticed is that Range is indeed the same with all cannons and the increased strenght that higher level cannons have is indeed unimportant since everything higher than a basic cannon is instant-kill,BUT the reloading stat is indeed different.Higher tier cannons reload and thus Fire faster.It's not a big effect so it's probably not worth using higher level cannons.Still this game is very good,yet not good enough for a 5/5 so I give it a 4/5.

Once you get the 3% wall repair the walls repair faster than the enemy can hurt them. This is fine until the enemy has greater range than you, in which case the round ends in a stalemate and you have to quit. So far, this has only happened to me as the Prussians, but it would be nice if it was fixed.

After the 10th wave, you can`t see how many it cost to repair everything.
Does anyone else experience the same bug?

ok i'm not mathlete but uhhhh... 100 - 72 does not = 5. whats the point of earning a decrease in cost of the french guards if you get charged the full price (95) despite the 72 cost indicated under the build menu?

There's a load of bugs, tremendous balance issues, and it's easy. As the British I beat the entire game without losing one unit. The British range makes them inestimably superior to every other faction. The pathetic "range" of the Prussians make them absolutely useless in every way. The French are decent at best.
Further, cannon are both useless and unnecessary. For the cost of a good cannon, I get a dozen infantry. A cannon kills perhaps ten men, on a good round. A dozen infantry kill nearer to fifty. Cannons need to be able to be aimed and fired by the commander. Otherwise they serve no purpose at all.
Finally, achievement benefits should be able to be turned off. I cannot repair a thousand buildings, because the slow repair I get during combat from repairing six hundred buildings is enough to keep my walls continuously at one hundred percent. Palisades, too-I'm not even using advanced walls.
And given my strategy is "surround my castle with infantry" I should be failing.

Not a bad idea, has potential. But seems very unfinished. The balance is off, it's too easy and seems that I get achievements for not losing units even when I think I do lose some? And other glitches like that.

Hope to see a variety of troop choices, cavalry included, and possibility strategy: of moving troops around and weather effects and maybe ability to attack enemy forts, too. Good game and music.

Once you learn that cannons are nothing compared to massive amounts of lvl 3 infantry, the game gets very easy and boring.

The gameplay as the British is too easy I think. Skip right to readcoats and then to greenjackets, you don't even need cannons. The sheer rate of fire and the fact they have near double the range of the next best infantry means firing lines of them slaughter everything.

was having a good time until the enemy army stopped just out of range of my guns. they just stood there staring at my walls. a few died on my traps but that's it.

on endless after like round 30 the guns wont fire but the badguys can still attack.its a pretty bad glitch since all your guns dont work for 10 seconds

MAP BUILDER: would be an empty map, like endless mode, but you would be able to change the terrain (mountains, ocean, brides), spawn points, castle location, ect.

Wow! Several times now I have managed to get to the last wave and then all the enemies just seem to stand there doing nothing. Pressing the calendar button to force them to take another path does not seem to work. I like the game, but would like it more if there were no bugs like this. Sigh. Starting game over once more...

Guys - you can click the icon of the Calendar to make the attackers re-route themselves. It may not help but often does fix problems where they're just out of range.

How to get Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty.
Easy- Play as British and rely on a buttload of greenjackets
Medium - Play as French and mix close range slaughtering infantry with long range slaughtering puckle guns
Hard - Play as Prussians and use any tactics
Very Hard - Play as Prussians and don't use puckle guns.
Might Be Impossible - Play as Prussians against British every time, and for whatever story reason you can think of, you don't get any artillery, only infantry.

I keep finding that when I have two rows of cannon, the first row fires, and the second row fires immediately after, at the same column as the previously firing cannon, thereby failing to hit anything. Has anyone else ran into this problem, and if so, can this be fixed?

It's a decent game, but it's still buggy. Several times I've had the game freeze on me when I was trying endless mode, once on wave 28 and once on wave 34. I tried hitting the path reset button but it didn't do anything. The whole thing is rather frustrating to be trying to set a new high score and just have the game freeze.

I found a bug, the engineers are stuck in my baracades and can't get out and don't die, so the match will go on for infinity.

great game, but if you build your wall too close to where they come out( the closest you can build it) they walk through it. people cannons do same damamge and range (except the lst one) they jsut have faster fire rates. also i think the "obssesive achievment" is bugged, it took me like 2 games to get the first 2 and it took me about 5 games and still don't have it. other wise great game 4/5

Also, once a large fort is built, later stage become very easy to fend off. I think the Hard levels need to be made significantly harder, whether you introduce a new enemy or you just increase the number of enemies.
On Red Dawn, for the last 5 or so waves, even quadruple the enemies... It's really way too easy.
