Hi Alex. Great game! It really scratched an itch for me. :D I do agree with the people saying there is much white space, but you already know that.
But what I'd really would like to see would be a timer next to each resource that would say how long it would take for the storage to be completely filled (or emptied) according to your current rates.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I really enjoy this game. :D

Destroying a wood burner doesnt make future wood burners become cheaper... it may be intentional but this sounds bad to me.

you should move the buy 1, gather 1, upgrade storage, etc buttons next to the big titles so they occupy a single line, that would save a lot of space. for example: Charcoal [Convert 1] [Turn Production Off]

Research Efficiency: "Increases the resource income PER SECOND by 1%" ... only increases resource income by 1% PER UPGRADE.

Love the game. Hate the layout. Anything that needs scrolling is a pain. I'm still playing though, which shows how much I like the game behind the interface.

If you can't upgrade storage on Meteorites - convert 1 plasma. Seems to be a bug that shows the amount but needs 1 more.

Is there a way to disable the autosave notification? I've been looking through the options and didn't find any, and the pop up is really annoying and is not needed.
Also, the compressed rows in the sidebar really should be enabled by default, the game looks so much better and so much less scrolling is needed, it's really baffling it's off by default.

Why is everything in this universe built out of gems?
All my drills are made of gems, my labs are made of gems, my power plants are made of gems. MY GEM EXTRACTION FACILITIES ARE MADE OF GEMS. Its just gems all the way down and it feels like a huge bottleneck on everything

This is a small bug with kongregate. I'm trying to get it fixed, but for now, you can just use the convert 1 button to max your storage and it will work.
You only need one rocket for the whole game. You simply fly there and back and can reuse it if you have enough rocket fuel to explore the other planets.

Nice start, but as others have pointed out the scrolling makes this rather difficult to play, especially on a laptop with solely a mousepad. Your layout is very vertical, and a lot of your elements would be better placed inline (horizontally). For example, the purchase buttons can be horizontal to the name of the item being purchased. The padding of the resource rows can be reduced by 2 pixels as well. A small shave can really make a large difference. Finally while you are working on the layout I suggest adding your own splash of color - this game visually looks no different than the other Bootstrap idle games out there.
There are graphics options in the More Tab if you would like to customise the look. There are options to change the theme and colour scheme, as well as compress the resource rows. However, I will take your suggestions into account for future design changes

I think out of the gate the game is quite good. I agree with much of the suggestions so far. A grab-scroll method would be useful, as opposed to the clumsy mouse scrolling, which usually ends up scrolling the whole window. Also, the "Game saved" popup isn't necessary, and a bit annoying. Would be better to have it as an inline message at the top. Looking forward to the updates.
That is because briefly, you have 0 methane, and your methane energy cannot run. This will be fixed soon when the next update, changing the storage costs, comes out.

I just built a reactor and within about 15 seconds, it stopped producing energy (while still consuming the resources to produce the energy). Pretty big bug

plus i just had a complicated bug: 10 helium drones and 10 hydrogen collectors with RE#19 produce 12 each (rounded!?! why? never round up in a game like this pls). my fusion reactor should take 10 but uses all 12 (RE bug) so there is no income (+0/s) in helium/hydrogen. its storage was full so i upgraded it using all helium/hydrogen > storage 0. suddelny my fusion reactor stops to work and i miss 273 energy. problem is probably that HE/H input * RE = 11.9 but gets displayed as 12. the reactor should also uses 11.9 with the RE bug but somehow would like to have the rounded 12 instead. is it possible you didnt seperate the displayed numbers and the actual math properly? if you know what i mean... sry, just want to help :)

Gotta say, I think this sort of game requires too much waiting not to be running while offline. Also, the meteorite printer turns itself on when you restore a save. (After being offline.)

So, in general, it's more energy-efficient to use the machines to collect resources than to convert energy directly into resources. In return, with energy conversion, you manually decide what resources your energy will go into at any given point in time. Got it.

Doesn't fit on my screen and the scrolling flings me off the game all the time and is really annoying. Better space management (pun half intended) and maybe a full screen?

couldbe a good game but the lay out is driving me crazy. the fact that i have to scroll up and down on a resource is just dumb. if you made it fit on one page with no scrolling it would be a better game.

im not sure why but every time i try to load this game (on both firefox and chrome) i get stuck at the initial loading screen and not able to actually get into the game

I realize that a lot of comments say that the research efficiency is bugged and many of them have a not from the dev saying the bug is fixed. However, it is not currently fixed. Currently, I make 376 Uranium (10 grinders and 6 Enrichers). With a 25 technology, that should be boosted to 470. Currently, I use 350 Uranium (50 Nuclear Reactors). So left over uranium should be 120. However, it is only 33... which is about 25% more that what is left over BEFORE taking the boost into account. The same goes for any resource that is automatically used in something else (wood, hydrogen, helium, lava, charcoal, oil). I don't know if energy is also supposed to get the bonus, but if it is supposed to... but the game overall is good, nicely tied together. Good job!

What i found to be most annoying, this game is alot of grinding. I mean, i get the reason why it is, its an idle. But half the time your just sitting there looking at it, pressing gain to hopefully make things go faster. You should make the game to be less grind-like and make it work off-line, and make things cost less. Because by level 10 on most things, you can barely aford it, but then again, i only just started playing. But still, the grind is always MASSIVE. You should add upgrades for like increasing the speed of certain things.
But the game as a whole, i'd rate it a solid 8/10, for the fact almost everyone can play it, and its originality aswell.
