As a player, I don't feel like I really have any control over the outcome of combat. Whether this is true or not, it is greatly discouraging.

Good concept but lacks a good story and feels like I'm playing with cardboard animals. Still, if you can expand the idea and make it better by adding more dialogue and some features which surprise the player, I think it'll be good. A decent game but still not there. 2.5/5

Trash complicated RPG's all you want, they beat the heck outta boring, simple-minded, single-click/tactic proof of concept "simple" RPGs any day of the week. Including Monday.

Great character design, and the humour style reminds me of Monkey Island (in the way the game doesn't take itself seriously), but the general "game trappings" (i.e. the design) could use some work. Most things work well, but the game would benefit from more visual representations of things, etc. I'll consider this the 0.05 version of the game. I'm sure if you put in the work to make it 1.00 it'd be at least worthy of 4 or 5 stars.
