Developer posted this AFTER I figured it out...annoying. Here's my expanded strategy. Challenge 6. Sacrifice health for first small orbs. Upon kill, immediately rush the 3 tiny ones so they are very close together on your ship (for narrow spread). This cluster should reduce a medium orb to 5 tiny orbs if hit at point blank. Rush your kills when able for more cluster ammo. Taking out mediums completely is more efficient than taking out the smalls individually or planning out combos. If you do the math, you have 56 splits to do. That means that you need a spit a second (not to mention those initial seconds waiting for your first tiny orb). Keeping the clusters you're making in mind, don't take too long to get and take a shot. Provided there is moderate ammo floating around, take your shots as they come. You'll make up for the loss of a ideal cluster shots in thinking time and probably a small orb to get another chance at one. Once I figured this out, I think it took me about 5 attempts.

#5 gave me more trouble than #6. #7 and #8 were A LOT easier, you should change the order.

Update: 3 hours in and I got it! Not down to strategy (I tried everything), just down to luck from doing it enough times. Really, a fix is needed; more health or more time. Sad, this could have been a good game.

HAHAHA great how people thought 6 was the hardest xD that was one of the easier ones for me :P I hated the minute long evade the most :O I just wanna shoot em xD

I started out really enjoying this game with the level pack, but after 2.5 hours on the level six, I think this is ridiculous. I am annoyed and frustrated. Either remove this challenge from the badge, or lower the difficulty level. I honestly hate this game now, and it is the reason its receiving 2/5 instead of 4/5 from me. Please fix.

this is one of the must frustrating games i think i have ever played. the challenges are the worst. i find one of the most difficult things to work with is how the mouse seems to "drag" slow and you can not wrap around the screen like everything else

Ok, to do challenge number 6, if you are close to a big orb and have around 4-6 orbs you can shoot on you, go right up next to a big orb and shoot, it should eliminate it or reduce its size by 2 levels. This is how i did it.

Yeah kind of retarded how you can't rotate in challenge mode, it's not a challenge it's pointless... and challenge 4 is not even hard I did it while on 24 hours of no sleep just all in skill of dodging. Not a bad game just wish you could rotate in challenge mode but I guess that is why it's a challenge.

Haha, love the game's name. Very clever. Alright, over all, I enjoyed this game. For me, the challenges were way more satisfying than normal mode. 6 isn't all that hard, just takes a little luck and precision. Start breaking two orbs at a time where you can always be on one and get more shots as quickly as you can. Damage shouldn't be too big an issue, so don't be afraid to move in and grab the orb. One thing I feel the game could use is a restart option when paused (like 'Q' for quit). Small glitch, when you pause before clicking 'Start', you get an invisible UFO until you click Start. I really enjoyed this game, wish there were a few more challenges though. 4/5

Not only is challenge is too obnoxiously hard, the extremely dark blue makes it twice as hard since it's not obvious where the tiny orbs you control are =\

I fail so bad.... challange 6 im doing by losing alot of health to get alot of little orbs out quick. I have 1 orb that needs to die and i miss with like 7-8 little ones flying in its direction and then i smash into it -_-

I love this game, :).
Also, Challenge 6 isn't so hard. Just follow the developer's tips about it. I did it in about 10 or 15 minutes.

Stat for challenge 6 is to collect as many orbs as you can and shot it at a bit one big one. So in the being try and focus on one big orb (so you can get ammo). Then try and get 4 or more ammo on one side so you can shot a big on down. I hope this helps

why make challenge 6 so much harder than the rest? Not to mention the game lags constantly making it even harder to play. 2/5 stars

Haha, I opened the tutorial, read "This is your GlueFO." clicked what I thought was the next button, and went back to the main menu. Sitting there like, "Huh, that WAS a short tutorial."

For those trying to get badge of the day and are stuck on challenge 6:
1. Keep restarting until the small bullet appears on screen. You don't want to burn time waiting for it.
2. Once you have the bullet, spam click while moving toward the orb you're trying to break down. Don't worry about getting hit.
For best results, if you have the bullet stick to your right side... break an orb from the left side of the screen, so you don't lose it immediately after the initial break.
3. If you get hit, make the most of your limited invincibility to grab as many bullets as possible.
4. You can completely break down huge orbs if you have enough bullets concentrated in one area. Be aware of how many bullets you've collected and in which area of your ship to maximize this effect.
