A great game! It reminds me of the game Portal for the Amiga which I loved. But it really needs some way to continue from where one has left. A shortcut to the last level one has reached would be sufficient.

for the airlock puzzle you may need to pause adblock and/or ghostery to work the archives. I actually thought to look it up, but wasted half an hour trying to get the site to work

I figured out the 'rune' sequence at the end. Was rather put out when it didn't match up to any of the actual historical runesets, because... http://imgur.com/b4CMIQG

Very interesting concept, but needs some proofreading. Fortunately, none of the actual gameplay was affected by this.

A couple of tips concerning game design: NEVER create an obstacle for a player that requires them to use the actual internet to search for the answers for the puzzles. Not everyone has access to the same material, especially the Chicago newspaper one, and that's not even mentioning the numerous versions of the Bible there are, which makes for a vast amount of different answers. Even the Hacker series by xIKashmir accounted for this sort of thing by creating an in-game browser that allows the player to enter any URL but only the ones given to the player (via hints, etc.) were allowed to be used.
That alone gimped the rating I give this game down to 3/5.

Fairly fun, but the grammatical errors and the spelling inconsistencies make me question how playable part 2 will be...

okay... so i TOTALLY over thought the password for ericpoor's computer... I found out what the hint was, but i kept thinking what they were together not what they were literally.
*SPOILER*(i thought it meant what they were as in that they are primary colours, so i couldn't get it... out of spite and to be funny i just put the colours in sequence and it worked... i guess i was thinking too hard to for the game. xD )

Don't assume someone else's services (like newspaper archives) will still be available, or will be available to any of your players. People living outside the USA aren't always able to access American archival records.

I think I would really like to see this game improved upon before episode 2 comes out... 4/5 because of all the spelling mistakes and frustration.

This was a very well made game with some interesting but overall intuitive puzzles. The incorporation of real world stuff was a really smart move, adding that extra dash to make this a great experience! I eagerly await an Episode 2!

What a great little mental game. I really enjoyed discovering the clues and it left me with the feeling of being a great detective. A game for people who have an analytical mind and A LOT of patience.
Tips:
1. Get a pen and notepad, you will need them for code cracking.
2. This is a BROWSER game. ;)
3. The rune message from the end cinematic is mirrored. Hve fun finding the correct runic alphabet.
4. Bring lots of patience!
PS: To the developers: I know english is not your first language from the ton of spelling and grammatical errors, but if you make a text based game at least send your text to one english expert for proofing before you publish the game. Some spelling errors made my head spin :P. Other than that, it's a fun little game and i enjoyed it immensely.
Can't wait for the 24th :).

From reading the comments trying to find a hint after 30 minutes, apparently you need to look for answers on google or something? Really really needed to let the gamers know that was the case. Wasted to much time thinking the answer was in-game to make it worth playing anymore.

*Spoiler* maybe?
For those that don't know what to do on the newspaper part, just go here and see if you can find the answer then. http://archives.chicagotribune.com/1961/08/13/page/23

I don't want to ruin it for people but some people seem to have gotten really stuck on the camera level, so here's a hint: the password is proper English, aka grammatically correct. Hope this helps.

I can NOT, for the life of me, get past level 2 where you have to use the camera functions to find the password for file 'introduction.mp3'. Anyone know it?

My only complaints are 1.) That it was too easy considering 90% of the "puzzles" were just Googling and simple alpha-numerical substitutions. In several cases you're just given the answer. 2.) You don't allow full network traversal. About 6-8 of the nodes you find out about can't be accessed or even "seen" in your ssh command. This is frustrating. -- Though bonus points to anyone that solves stevedoor's power password. =)

All the way until now, I never understood terminals, but thanks to this game, I have a pretty nice understanding of it. THANK YOU so much!
