Not quite sure if this sequel quite captures the same magic as the first iteration, however, it is certainly a fantastic sequel to one of the best games flash RPGs ever. (now if only we could get an Elona Shooter 2)

A few tips for starting players. First, don't waste bullets in the beginning. Only use your gun for headshots. Bullets aren't cheap, and they are relatively hard to come by in the beginning. Second, don't heal in the tribes. You can get free healing and surgery in the bunker. Third, get some help as soon as possible. This will increase your capacity to trade and help with fights.

Seriously it looks awesome but the lack of a comprehensive tutorial make it a pain in the ass to even consider just trying out. Sure, there are the guides on the site, but they're unappealing walls of text...

I gave the guy the crickets, his dude joined my caravan, but nothing new appeared on the map, and he left after a few turns. What did I do wrong?

Second Friendly Tip: PHYSICAL-amount of weight in Kg's you can carry; comes in handy when you want to hear heavier armor later on in the game. AGILITY-determines the amount of Action Points you can use when in battle; comes in handy when you want to move into cover, shoot your firearm, reload, and move back into your cover again. ACCURACY-self explanatory; comes in handy, specially with rifles since I have 10 accuracy points and I have a 20%-30% of hitting my target all the way across the map. INTELLIGENCE- determines how fast any of your skills (throwing, accuracy, doctor, mechanic, smuggling) improve over time; lower intelligence, slower rate of improvement.

Friendly Tip: before collaborating with the Drakar Tribe to find your friend Olaf.... kill off as make Drakar Raiders beforehand and loot their jackets. You'll get approx 11k-13k money for them. Sell their jackets until you earn about 200k-300k money because trust me.... it does come in handy and EVERYTHING is expensive once you leave the tribe area.

Wow! This game gets 5/5. Incredible story line, great economics simulation, and I like how your actions have an effect later on in the game.

So I followed the tutorial and I learned how the menus worked. But I know zero about what the point of the game is. And I starved to death. Now I need to remake a new character which I had just spent 15 mins making look like myself (the colour selection method is a pain)
I have just uploaded an update with a different color selection method. I also recommend reading the on-site instructions (Guides and Instructions button on the main page) to really understand how the game works.

In version 1.0.1 there's a different color selection interface and a link to the instructions page about attributes on the character setup screen.

Some people are trying to restore the old civilization, but their efforts are constantly frustrated by those who care about nothing except their own immediate benefit. BOOM! They succeeded. It was just explained that that was the old civilization's ways. Although the story is good so far.

If your legs get injured you get AP penalty when moving in battle. If your arms get injured you get AP penalty with weapons in battle... You can perform surgery in towns, not cheap but worth it!
