@Dhruv9 the federation have rocket launchers. the worst weapon to face against. You need a lot of explosives and long range riffles to take them out. after that it's manageable. You need medkits because you will get hit and you might lose valuable mercs.

@ChangW3 no, i am going on a tour to get federation helmets first...don't want the game to be over so dallying around
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i love this game to bits! would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for strategy/business game any day of the week!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@spartan74 thats an iq test by the dev, this game is very difficult and if you failed you won't be able to play it anyway
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Don't put a fake PLAY button on your advertisement as a cheap way to get a click. That's a good way to get me to close your game before playing it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
medkits also? why what weapons do the federation have? Also, should I farm for federation helmets or just go ahead with the battle?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9 - Britonia is NW from Qubba - 318.9 ' - 1693 km
- Dagmar is NE from Qubba - 34.7' - 1695 km
I assume you didn't discover the Federation?

@darkangel2147 please use save to file on your pc. My browsers never manage to save this game. I had to start 3 times before I got here :/

@Don't know, it was +25 before. Maybe because janubi relations were higher? (+75, now +97) Maybe I will have to attack janubi police for gaining entry, should I attack qubba police also to raise federation rep? i need to finish the gps mission, need to find and enter federation towns
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9 no worries, that's part of the storyline. How is your rep with the Federation though? If its not too bad, I'd recommend trying to give prisoners to Ausz in order to raise it to neutral. The Federation has the best trade routes in the whole game, but many of the cities are walled, so those with negative rep cannot enter them
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhrub9 Grats! It can be quite a pain the first time. Now that you are in the Qubba region, you will made lots of money with cement.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yay made it to qubba! Slaughtered them with ease, turns out I can just headshot them before they come in range (and didn't encounter grune's gang this time luckily)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Iskandros you can't buy industries back straightforward. You would have to use town-crashing (but its proving ineffective and difficult so far)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Iskandros Yeah, its hard to choose between trouser and leather jacket (and owning both messes up the sales) @ChangW3 MYP, IB next year
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9 I legit don't know if you can buy your own industries back after you've sold them. I'll try it with a less profitable one. In Boxto almost any industry is profitable if you invest in the region a lot. Trousers and leather jackets are always a good choice in any region.

@ChangW3 I use plastic water barrel from a looted caravan @Iskandros I learnt that the hard way, so I am going to try an evasion strategy. For some reason that I don't remember I sold my jacket industry to Tobar, and my vest industry to Toowoomba, is there anyway to recover it? And whats the best industry in Boxto, trousers or leather + leather jacket production?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv Have you switched over to an all plastic jug water system? Jerry cans are quite heavy in comparison and it'll save you lots of weight.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9, I had 30 people in my crew when trying to make it to Qubba and I was attacked incessantly. if you only have 10 you will be butchered :/ also start the jacket industry in Tobar. You should easily double your budget in a year. it's the best starting industry if you're low on cash.

@Chang W3 Already horse caravan (other feels too slow now), going to go to qubba tmrw (barely made it back to northway from halfway last time), no problem of food in northway, maybe expand my caravan at mimb first
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Interesting side note though. You can survive a long time without adequate food as long as you have enough water. So don't feel pressured to immediately restart if you arrive at a town without food, your morale might tank real fast but you'll most likely make.

@Dhruv. Since you only have 4-5 million, I'd advise you not to for now, you'll find it a lot more common in Qubba in any case. As a general rule I'd spend only 10-15 percent of my cash on arms/equip. Anyways, the first thing I'd advise you to do in Qubba (Or preferably before) is to switch over to a horse based caravan. The settlement of Mimb sells the cheapest horses, so I'd suggest you do the Twin River oil trade and buy as many horses as possible when passing through Mimb. If you really want to try out Qubba (Assuming you aren't there already) make a save at Northway before moving into Qubba. Traveling there is really intense with a small caravan and you might get trapped there. Mad Dog groups travel at 12 kmph and can easily run you down if you are still on foot or donkey, so there's really no way to outrun them without horses.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Iskandros I gotta expand my crew by threefold then @ChangW3 kay cool P.S. 1 last thing, shall I buy the sniper rifle at northway? (the one that cost 1.3 million and appears only sometimes)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9 8x32 scopes would be better. Note that you only have to knock out the few RPG carrying enemies (mostly 2-4 of them out of 10) with your riflemen, so a few good scopes for your best sharpshooters is better than low quality scopes for all of them since most of your men should still be carrying RPGs. When first entering the Qubba region, its best to save your game before each battle as well. Unlucky battles where you lose half your caravan to a lucky RPG shot do happen from time to time
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9 I recommend you have at least 30 mercenaries if you want to touch the end game portion. And many many bazookas. -_-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ChangW3 All my rifles have 2 x 20 scope, should that be sufficient?
@Iskandros Yes, I have got 3-4 of them as mercs, should make the entire team bokoyurdan or just proceed with the story
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Dhruv9 if you can, engage a group of Boryukudan in battle and capture as many as possible. they are the best mercenaries. I have some with stats like 10-8-8-10, etc. they can handle anything.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@ChangW3 I'm not sure how much I make in Janubi in one run. With my industries upgraded, probably around 30 million every few weeks (while I travel between Janubi and Qubba) I never thought of selling cement in Janubi -_- thanks
