It's been so long since I played a game that did not autosave. This has led to a number of "Oh crap!" moments as I was getting my butt kicked and realized that I was about to lose an hour's progress.

Here's a few things to help out:
*In order to get more AP for your characters, send enemies into a panic by giving high damage, choose the option Keep Killing, then load and unload weapons by alternating pressing U and R. The higher the AP to load, the quicker you get more AP per character. Crossbows work best for this (7AP to reload). This does take a long time (as with almost everything in this game) but it does come in handy.
*Keep your people at 100% ideal weight (can be seen by going to caravan menu > crew > scroll through stats to the bottom) Increase by keeping abundant food supply.
*Keep moral high by keeping tasty food and higher pay than minimum for mercs.
*Stay hydrated. Teh desert is a lonely place to die.

Not sure if bug or I did something wrong but my character was suddenly wounded to critical levels while walking, could not heal nor move and after I trashed all my characters stuff he still wouldn't walk and died standing in the same spot. What happened?

My god. It's... It's like christmas. I can die happily now. My most favourite game ever finally got a sequel. Thank you, my lords and saviors Games of Honor and SugarFreeGames. Thank you.

is it possible to make it to Kivi on your first trip through the trade route, and have enough money to buy one jacket? I've tried three times now and keep falling short. Think I'm going to have to go back and forth between Silos and the other two villages a couple times with insects before I go to Kivi.

Dang this looks much more complicated than last time. . . is there anyone out there with a wiki or opening move steps. . . would really appreciate a getting started routine, especially to skip all the reading, which is getting in the way of playing

@raptor6978: You don't instantly die if you run out of food and water. In addition, the estimate of what food you need does not include what you'll hunt during the trip (and the water estimate doesn't include the water you get from the food you eat.) In short, don't worry about not having enough supplies; you'll still make it, with perhaps just a little bit of damage. In the early game, I often run out of water and/or food halfway along the trip.

omg, THANK YOU!! i cannot tell you how long ive been waiting for this game. i have to say this made my day lol. instant 5 stars and the game is even loaded yet.

well, Raptor, you could save, i save very often, because if you die and you don't save you have to restart the whole game which is annoying.

Annoying when you get trapped. Like I just made it to Araten, then got the scientist, but I can't carry enough food and water to make it back, so I am just screwed. Now what, restart the whole game?

so i buy some tallow at Lintu (price 64.16) and then go to sell it at Drekar (price 3,923.19)and yet i only make 60 off of 13 items sold. so how exactly are you supposed to find out the prices of thing before hand.

My only complaint about this game is the user interface. Finding prices in a game about trading shouldn't be THAT hard. Rather than having to page through each good one by one, why not just use a drop down menu?

Finished the game! Some tips if you want to get further: Choose ONE type of weapon and don't use anything else. Don't choose melee or pistols. Rifles are awesome because of the scopes. Once I hit 60 in Rifle skill I can headshot across the map 100%. The M21 Rifle is the best rifle for accuracy and high damage per bullet. Machine guns are great for guaranteed kills in mid-range. Do NOT use cows. Travel speed = lowest speed in your caravan, so using even 1 cow slows you down to the speed of a cow. Cheese is the best food. If you're strong enough, you can circle a city and fight nearby enemies. Imprison them, get a reward in the city and sell all their gear. This beats maintaining Industries.

Really cool game, I hoped for a sequel since I finished the first one.
Although, I also have some criticism:
It would be nice to have a fullscreen mode, especially when playing on a laptop.
There is too much micromanagement, especially concerning the food. Some food items less would be better.

To add to my last post, I've also seen that your carrying capacity will just change randomly, as well as the price you paid for an item. I know for a fact I paid 5.50 for some wool, but the game keeps telling me I paid anywhere from 10+ a unit, to as little as .25 a unit, I have no idea what causes that, but it's extremely hard to keep track of your cash flow when it literally doesn't tell you the same number twice in a row. Prices will change in cities if you walk out and walk back in drastically, like what the hell could happen in less than 30 minutes to cause the entire markets prices to double?

I have to say, you start with $10k when you do sandbox, but he sticks you in the intermediate region where $10 isn't jack, and the bandits always kill you every time you run into them

This game.... Frustration doesn't even begin to describe it. The lack of explanation of how the economy works, or how to survive, even the guides are vague as all hell.... the number of game killing bugs, getting stuck in locations, having large groups corner you constantly, not being able to flee from battle, companions/slaves sucking all of your resourced dry with no warning, there needs to be a number of these kind of things fixed before I want to play again. This game reminds me of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, there was a quest that would turn you into a vampire in the middle of the woods at dawn, too far from anything to escape the daylight, and you would die every. freaking. time. before you could escape the woods and get to a save point. That glitch is this game in a nutshell.
tl;dr, make this game a little easier to win, and a little harder to lose. I've had to completely restart 4 or 5 times now and it's just frustrating to see such a fun concept ruined by bugs.
