@ATBu Most of your advice is really solid. Personally, I run an all horse caravan and survived with 7/2/1/10 until I got horses. However, one hugely underrated stat is accuracy. It is absolutely true that all the skills under acc can be trained but they take literal hours to train up. I only have a high number of action points (tied to low agility) because I used a script to automatically unload/reload a weapon. Mercs and Volunteers can use schools to train up their accuracy weapons, you cannot. I now use my main character to draw enemy fire while better characters gun them down. This is a viable strategy but it makes the early game irritatingly difficult and leaves your main guy feeling like dead weight in the late game. IIRC, all story options are unlocked by 6 int, so a better build for my main would've been 7/2/5/6 and it would be functionally the same but I'd be able to hit the broad side of a barn with a fully automatic machine gun.

Tips (part 3/3): 7) One of best industries is alohol distillery. You might also want at least one cheese factory per region to provide yourself low-cost and high-quality food. When buying industries pay attention if the town produces required raw materials (e.g. cotton if you want to start a fiber manufacture). Otherwise your industry will stop production (while still paying daily costs!) when you run out of materials. You cannot rely on computer-controlled caravans and you won't be comming back to old regions very often - your industries should be self-sufficient and you should only collect the incomes. 6) Best mercenaries can be hired by freeing boryokudan captives. 8) NEVER spend all your money - you might think you will sell your goodies quickly, but sometimes towns are low on cash, leaving you with full cargo and no money to buy food or pay salaries.

Tips (part 2/3): 3) Don't buy old or very young (baby) animals - the older ones can die any time or decrease their max load as they become even older, and you cannot determine the final max load of baby animals. 4) Keep up the trail, since you can easily get lost - you cannot specify your location unless you have certain items (obtainable in mid-game and late-game). 5) Many people you meet can join your caravan as volunteers if certain conditions are met - check the official wiki page. 6) Same stuff costs different amounts of money depending on cities - including warehouses, which might be costly in large cities.

Tips (part 1/3): 1) ATTRIBUTES: agility=4--> speed 5 (same speed as donkeys) or agility=6--> speed 6 (same speed as camels), accuracy=1 (accuracy determines only initial ability to use guns, which will be trained eventually, while all other stats determine untrainable skills), remaining points in intelligence and physical. Intelligence determines how fast you learn (and you need to learn fast to compensate low accuracy), physical determines HP. My favourite combination is 7/6/1/6. 2) Don't bother with breeding animals - by the time they get born and grow up, you will replace them with better animals or vehicles. However, female animals provide milk, which can be sold or used by you or your captives, slaves, etc. or as emergency food supply. Don't bother with sheep, goats or cows, unless you want to be a farmer - they are too slow to travel with.

Anyone ever want a discount Fallout 1? This is it, and I would honestly be happy to pay actual money (Not bottlecaps) for it.

this is hard game, you must stay away from marauders, drekar, rovers(even though they are weak), shinobi(whatever group is that is), scavengers(they are very hard you should not get close to them if you had a stronger group you can mess with them lol XD), travelers(do not attack them, they have stronger weapons like scavengers, and they will be your enemy if you attack them, but you can trade them), janubi warriors(i think, because its hard to complete story mode because of enemies, they are very annoying and they always attack me!). I think its the last, i cant remember that there are more enemies.

Thanks for advice Kadzu, I managed to evade the horse via horseback. Was difficult due to 4-6 groups converging, but managed to, now I got two m-21s and a bazooka of my own.

Somelame: Aim for and make Bazooka people a priority. I only have 4 people but I arm them with M21 semi-automatic rifles so I have little trouble but considering you don't have M21's yet, I would recommend getting accurate, long range guns for your people and fit them with the best scopes. Get people with great accuracy.

Having trouble getting to Qubba from Northway, I got 17 people, most armed with the best weapons/armor from Janubi area, but I get owned by Bazooka from a faction called "Bydlo horde." Any advice?

Watch out traveling between New Serino and Kivi. Ran into a group of scavengers. Even 11 rifles, motor cycle helmets, leather jackets, and police academy training two of them managed to get within Uzi range and deal some heavy damage. I would have stood no chance earlier. This is a very rare encounter happens less than 10% of the time.

Sorry, had 8 rifles total, one volunteer and 7 mercs. Was very risky engaging against a group of mercs with 4 rifles.

Stay away from Orth, just ambushed by two groups of bandits, one with two rifles and three scimitars and the other with four rifles and one sword. Took 20-30 minutes and I almost lost three mercs. Had, 8 mercs with rifles.

Awesome tip I just found, keep Drekar alive and don't go further than New Serino. There is minimal bandits near New Serino, so you can slowly accumulate carts, rifles, rifle ammo, motorcycle helmets, while making massive profits. Sell Kivi goat meat to Drekar and medicine from New Serino to Drekar for major money.

Here's my advice after some experience, master combat in the tribal region against Drekar raiders. You can get lucky, I got 400,000 playing as a pacifist and liberator in my first game. Yet, as soon as I tried to move to area 3, Janubi region, I realized playing as a pacifist was not going to work. Mercs in Orth wanted 2k-10k a week, I effectively exhausted most of my trade routes, I simply couldn't afford enough mercs to scare away the enemies. Instead, stay in the tribal region as long as possible using crossbows to hunt down Drekar raiders. You will get your ranged combat skill up and slowly acquire cheap mercs. Overall, take the game slow, and really learn the game in the tribal reason.

I figured out one reason I keep losing, I keep shooting my own people. Didn't realize it was so easy to perform friendly fire.

Having a lot of trouble with groups with rifles. If they get lucky they can 1-2 shot the main character from max distance in the 1st round of combat. There seems to be no defense against this. Armor seems to do squat, best defense seems to be have a lot more people than them and fight fire with fire, or rifles with rifles in this case. So, if they have two riflemen use 10 riflemen, even then if the enemy gets lucky they can still win in the first round of combat. 100 damage plus hits are common in the game even in the early game. Even regular crossbows can hit for 90+ damage. Considering the default for your main character is 100 hpts which never increases, the game seems nigh impossible. Motorcycle helmet and leather jacket doesn't seem to help. Conflict avoidance is too random. Sometimes three groups of bandits attack and other times none attack. Yet, as you progress bandit encounters increase.
