Arbiter27: these are clearly the best units in the game. although i dont like that battle too much, becouse it looks like there s no deeper strategy than equipping yourself with best weapons (mainly rpg) & armor and start shooting at enemies

ideas for caravaneer 2:
Difficalty settings, easy has more attribute points available to spend, shops are more flexible, better prices 4 buying and selling goods, and less/easier robbers. Medium is same as now
Hard less attribute points, shops are less flexible, worse buying/selling prices, and more/harder robbers.
Air Planes: Are VERY fast, can carry large amounts of cargo, reqires "landing strip" to land Landing strips only availible in large, medium, and maybay a few small towns, use expensive fuel, range from small private air crafts to large milatry cargo planes, running out of makes you crash land possibley injuring you, and NO air battles

Want a real challenge? Play the game until Verdammter Platz attacks Qubba, then try to kill all four of the squads from Verdammter Platz. It's hard even killing just one!

@qzwxe Try the double agent tip I posted below. Not only will the police not ask for 1000 dollars, they will also attack robbers (The police don't attack robbers when you don't do the Oswald mission, I think). The police are so fast, they will often catch the robbers before you get near to the robbers.

as much as aimed shot works for long range I think it should give you a chance for a headshot and headshot being a 1 shot kill it'd make aimed shot worth spending more AP

@michel500 yeah, I had the same issue first time I played regarding cars/fuel. To deal with this, first develop Hara's fuel production. Do this by bringing lots of crude oil to Hara. The easiest way to do this is by bringing crude oil from Qubba since Qubba never seems to run out of it. You can also bring crude oil from Diep Gat or Verdammter Platz. This strategy is a little bit trickier however, because you will likely have to bring Fuel to these cities to support their crude oil production (yes, fuel is needed for crude oil production). Good luck.

How to be a double agent (spoilers):
First, go speak to Oswald in Qubba. Accept the mission to go to Fort Goks and get the paperwork from him. Don't go to Fort Goks, however. The police will then be out of your hair. You can trade free of the 1000 dollar fee until you are rich. Then, when you have amassed enough money, you can go back to Verdammter Platz and start the Desert Patrol missions. (or of course, you can continue the Oswald missions - though I don't find these that fun)
Eventually, as you complete the DP missions, the police will start attacking you again, but by then you'll be rich and be able to easily deal with them.

I get irritated i can never sell any weapons, and i finally had a car. Cant you buy fuel anywhere, "You ran out of fuel, you have to leave all yours cars behind"

A lot of this game reminds me of fallout but with the focus on supply and demand. Nevertheless, I keep getting put in deadends of getting to my destination and there's no food/forage/fuel or whatever (even in cities that should have them) and so I must die and back way up... not nice.

Quick Strategy to Success! -
Pick a character with high agility (Lin worked well for me).
Talk to the sheriff and get your money.
Upgrade to hoses with carts as soon as possible.
Don't waste money on people or weapons.
Your caravan only moves as fast as the slowest ANYTHING you have. ..including people. By travelling 6 or 7kmh you'll be able to outmaneuver most of the early robbers without actually fighting ANY of them.
Buy a vehicle at Verdammter Platz so you can go 15kmh.
I made $100k's buying alcohol in Marsiah and Smerd then selling it elsewhere.
I upgraded to ONLY vehicles and sold livestock.
If you choose your words right, you can buy information about the robbers for $20K. With about 20 people and good weapons you can easily win.

@Stamanou Nope, unfortunately mules/horses can't mount people, however, they can carry carts which can increase your capacity.

If you're having a hard time fighting, just pick up a few extra people to be pawns. I picked up the Sheik, the Jew, and some random other people to be a bomber and to take front line damage.

@redrufus to save exit the town u r currently in and click the wrench at the bottem right of the screen. it will open a menu with save as 1 of the opions

Arbiter27, It's actually an AutoPAY button, not an autoPLAY, that button just pays the people you hire automatically in their pay day.

Problem: the autoplay button doesn't seem to work. I would assume this would mean your guys would move and shoot automatically, like cpus, but for your team, but that's not happening. would be nice if it did that though.

Wow what the hell? 12 groups of 8-11 robbers all wielding katanas. Katanas katanas katanas, that's all I got. I have 140 katanas now and nobody wants any more. WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYONE GETTING ALL THESE KATANAS!?! WHAT COUNTRY IS THIS WHERE KATANAS ARE AS CHEAP AS PENCILS!?!?

if anyone made the same mistake as me and though buying a 1000k cart would give you 1000k cargo space, the 2x weight stat means that the max carry weight of your donkey/hauler will be x2
so if it's max carry is 100kg then you'd have 200kg cargo space minus the weight of the cart.
kinda confusing, i'm lucky i saved just before buying a new cart.

Not to complain about me getting a lot of target practice you really need to lower robber spawns they attack relentlessly and never ending at some points.

Only thing I would like to see is short cut keys, moving my mouse all the time gets annoying, especially when targetting, switching from aim to quick or back and back to targetting and then reloading.... also a quick warning before you first set out: did you remember water? died twice cause of that...

lovin it when you buy 2 hummers and keep selling shoes shirts and alcohol at respective town... i just hit 2 mil from doing that... just DONT FORGET FUEL!!!!!!!!!
