after you ve beat the game try to beat everyone with one guy caravan (except army). You can also try to achieve something special in deathmatch like 500+ in kill em all or 2d- in earn a million. all these things are possible without cheats (becouse i did it), just a bit harder.

Fights are 100 times better than in frontier, where you are just pressing attack buton like an idiot. They are a bit similar to fallout 1& 2, except that there are no obstacles like walls and similar (which is bad) and that fighting distance is greater (which is good).

once i got enough money i controlled the market and kept getting heaps of money by buying and then reselling the items

this game is way better then frontier this gave deserves a 9/10 it would be cooler if it was more realistic like if your animal gets sick he eats moe forage or if a guy gets sick he drinks more water or like a town gets hit by a desert storm and supplies are low or something like that.

one i of the best internet games i have EVER played in my life, cannot wait fot the second. and yes, it WILL be made (im not complaining or anthing)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stop complaining. "Sorry for not making the second part for such a long time. It's quite clear that it's worth making and it WILL be made." It WILL be made! "if you cant make a second one"... THERE WILL be a second one. Stop complaining and either be patient, or make your own dang flash game and become addicted to it!

come on, make a part 2 already. you could charge people Kreds to buy the best weapons and vehicles in the game, you could make a lot of $ off the people who love this game, you can be criticized nonstop and called a greedy pig for making some $ out of your hard work to create the game and keep it running... aww fuk, some one else make a caravaneer 2 already.

This is very good game and kinda addictive with most of education in it,the situtaion can actually happen. From what I see from the "thecheaterdude" information, the stock market isnt very good depending on the products that communities have.

I started out with robbers attacking me once in while when i was on my caravans then they kept attacking me non stop.

I think the players didnt play whit Caravaneer 1 for the "shiny engine"! ;-)
But the game experience. It is the real reason. I like it!!!! :-D

BEGINNER TIP: Strength 10, Agility 5, Accuracy 9, Intelligence 0.... Sell your rifle and buy an M1 Garand (equip it and the ammo)... Buy a blue water jug (fill it).... Buy a Small Wooden Cart (equip it)... Buy 20 food and 40 forage. You should have enough money left for about 30 Leather. + for everyone

The first time u sell Clothes at Poca Cosa, you can buy them back for about 1 gold cheaper than u sell... Sell and buy back... At some point it will stop being profitable so watch the prices. + SO everyone can take advantage of this vital starter tip

"i think it would be a good idea to be able to build a warehouse or something or maybe a house just somewhere you can store things so you dont need to carry them, this could also be raided and you could upgrade it to give extra protection, and people could come to you to buy stuff also." (glburden)
To add to that, perhaps you could buy them in all the cities, but the most lucrative would be in Qubba, and the second Fort Goks, etc. You leave men to guard them, equip the men, like caravan members, and if the government in Qubba hates you, you would have to pay off officials, or risk constant government raids. Not sure how combat would work out. Idea: once you enter the city, if your warehouse has been attacked, you would have the option of fighting using the men you left at the warehouse. If you win, you win. If not, you lose the goods, and maybe the warehouse itself. You could store weapons there too, instead of having to carry them or throw them away. The possibilities are endless!

It never ceases to amaze how many times a group of six ninjas with katanas will attack my caravan of 50 men in jeeps with M40A3s and grenades.....

Protip:
step 1: You can drive inflation in cities that you like to sell certain items too. If you are able to hold over a certain amount of an item that a certain city likes to buy(shoes in drushlak for instance) you can drive the price of shoes there by repeatedly buying at the low price they offer and selling at the high price they offer without leaving the city. This causes the city to get rich which drives the prices up(both ways). If you want the item to be more expensive, just do that a few times.
step two:
step three: profit

Damage _+strength/10 means how much it will do, the _ is the base damage, in this case Vinyl, you posted 8, now add your strength /10, which is shown in your people menu, like for instance, my main guys is 15, now that would be 1.5, and it rounds(not sure if .5+ is +1 or .1+ is +1, but you can find that out(.5 does give +1 though)). So using that, if my Main guy used a Scimitar(damage 8+str/10), i would do 10 damage over and over, using 4 stam, now when your guy gets more experience, you gain more strength, not enough to rival guns, but still a pretty decent fall back if you really need to in the beginning of the game.

4 robbers with katanas come across a group of 8 caravaneers with grenades, rocket launchers, AK47s and the like. Their reaction? Instead of running away like there's no tomorrow, they fight to death. Either those dudes are mad men or complete badasses.

i think your m1 garand is busted, mine is a semiauto that holds 8, not a manual that holds 5. too bad, thats one of the few complaints i have. that and way too many robbers, but that seems to be a general issue. overall, great game. 4.5/5

The most unrealistic part of the game is too low damage of firearm (people can survive shot by anti-tank rpg). So instead of introducing tanks and heavy staff in caravaneer2 it would be better to introduce more simple weapons, becouse surviving few hits from knife, axe, bow, molotov coctail or something like that sounds realistic. After all if you imagine some disaster happened and you have to arm yourself with the best you can find at your home-what would you find? Probably axe or hunting rifle if you are lucky to have it, defenitely not a tank or rpg.

Suggestion: I don't really want to spend more than twenty minutes at a stretch fighting off consecutive bands of robbers. Maybe something could happen that prevents me from being attacked more than five or six times during any given trip? Really, this is getting tedious.

This is the one game I keep coming back to. It's replay value is just that high. I couldn't go two or three months without (trying) to finish the game. You could go raider style by using the fastest motorcycle in-game. Or you could use the ox, carrying tons upon tons of precious cargo, just waiting to be robbed. It's a game that would never get old. Hope the new sequel won't disappoint.
