Sorry for not making the second part for such a long time. It's quite clear that it's worth making and it WILL be made. I just need to ask you to wait some more time. The second part needs a good, modern engine, and this engine is being made right now. It will probably be tested on another simple game before Caravaneer 2 production begins, so, once again, I ask for your patience and apologize for making you wait for so long.

No matter how many times I play, it's always amazing that a duo of robbers decide to chase after ten jeeps armed with 20 men with m14's.

*I see I'm 4 pounds overweight* I'll just empty all those useless water bottles I got off of those bandits. *Inadvertently drains all my water and dies in the desert*

Wow what the hell? 12 groups of 8-11 robbers all wielding katanas. Katanas katanas katanas, that's all I got. I have 140 katanas now and nobody wants any more. WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYONE GETTING ALL THESE KATANAS!?! WHAT COUNTRY IS THIS WHERE KATANAS ARE AS CHEAP AS PENCILS!?!?

You should be able to barter with the shopkeeper, allowing you to sell an item for whatever small price you want. this would save having to throw out and waste all your items.

Physical Shape: increase strength and hp
Agility: increases AP,speed, and the mechanic skill by a minute amount
Accuracy: Increases sniper, doctor, veterinary, and mechanic skills.
intelligence: Increases doctor, veterinary, and mechanic skills. (more than accuracy, but still by a surprisingly small amount) not worth much in my opinion :(
AP: actions in battle cost ap
Strength: increases the amount of weight you can carry, damage from melee weapons, and how far you can throw a grenade.
Speed: How fast you travel across the desert
Carrying: How much weight you can carry in combat (more important than it sounds, low carrying capacity = lighter armors)
Sniper: Accuracy with weapons
Doctor: How well you can use medicine to heal hp out of combat
Veterinary: How effective you can heal animals out of combat
mechanic: How well you can repair vehicles out of combat
Protection: protection from damage. Only body armor increases it
Hope this helps mitcher :)

Hint of hope from website:17-May-2014: I have just finished the game's story, which was the last big thing to do. There's still a relatively complex feature that needs to be programmed, which is computer controlled caravans, but it won't take very long. The rest are small details. According to my calculations, a public beta version of the game may be released in the beginning of July.

Actually it's quite realistic game. If you don't prepare yourself for three days desert journey, you will starve and DIE. Game over, no autosave, no rollback, yes, you DIED. No help, no gas station. Just desert and you. And no food.

firstly, @ matticus, you can be a robber in this game. secondly, i think instead of just attacking another caravan we could either attack/ join/ trade with.

Nance83: To save, when outside a town, at the bottom right there is a wrench. Pick any of the five slots to save. (When you are finally far enough into the game to start having conversations Qubba direction, I suggest saving before each conversation you have forward, in case you either change your mind or aren't ready to progress after all.) If you have any further questions feel free to pm me. Good luck!

It would be great to add an HP bar to enemies so that players know exactly how much health they have left so they can prioritize targets and change their strategy.

Quick tip to those being molested by ninjas - ditch the donkey, get a mule. Bandits in the starter area move at 5 km/h, so with a mule you'll match their pace, letting you outrun them 90% of the time (depends on approach angle). You just have to survive one or two trips first to afford it.

Fun fact: The only song that plays, named New Tomorrow, is based off the Tuvan song kazhan tören karam bolur. Kazhan tören karam bolur roughly translates to the saying; "To acquire and overlook one's relatives' livestock." It's an amazing callback to the begin of that game in which you inherit (acquire) your uncles' (relative) donkey (Livestock). PS: I love this game, can't get enough of it.

Ok Guys, We are under attack. Everyone dismount and meet up in front of the carts...except you Joe. You go 50 yards away from the rest of the caravan because you are that cool.

One thing I would like to see in the sequel would be a wait button in combat, to allow your slower members to act before the faster ones. Too many times my faster people have been stuck behind a vehicle unable to do anything, because of slower members blocking them in.

Amazingly good game, better than most games you buy in a store for $50.
Tips for playing:
- At the start, max out your agility.
- Early in the game, you can kill opponents without taking any damage. Just shoot then move away. They use all their AP's trying to catch you.
- To collect millions of dollars: Bring gold from Sekir Bashka to Qubba, fuel from Hara to Qubba, and wait for the jewelry in Qubba to drop to ~$1000. Buy jewelry, then sell it for $4000 in another Northwestern city. Right after selling it, *immediately buy it back* (price will have dropped to $700). Now you can sell it somewhere else. Repeat until rich.

Another minor thing i would like to see is a marker for of screen enemies, and having your people face the general direction of them at the beginning of battle.

"Enemy Caravaneers Spotted, captain!" "How many do they have?" "15, sir." "How many do we have?" "3, Sir." "Do they have firearms?" "Yes sir, they are all equipped with sniper rifles and grenades." "What do we have?" "A big hunting knife, our hands, and superior charisma." "Very well! WE SHALL ATTACK!!!"

i think it would be a good idea to be able to build a warehouse or something or maybe a house just somewhere you can store things so you dont need to carry them, this could also be raided and you could upgrade it to give extra protection, and people could come to you to buy stuff also.

i agree with cunning shot, whenn u have 10 or so unsellable rocket launchers spare it would be nice to be able to sell them for like half there value

In this game, animals are used solely as pack animals, so you can't ride them. I normally start with mules, but later, when around Qubba, I sell those for horses, both so that I can go faster when I purchase vehicles, and most importantly, because when following the storyline, later in the game, you cannot accomplish one of the tasks going only 5 mph. Normally, in the initial three town area, there are two to four robbers, but every once in awhile, some bandits overlap their area and stray into these towns (not often). When you leave these towns, be prepared for more bandits in a group, with deadlier weapons. The closer one gets to Qubba, the more powerful these groups are. Until you are prepared to fight wave upon wave of large vehicled groups of bandits, do not journey towards those two towns in the northeastern area.

hmm... one more thing, horses can move 15KM per hour, and yet, even if a horse is completely unburdened, you can't ride it, so your max speed is your slowest PERSON'S speed, is there a way to change that?

There must be zombies in this. I've seen a guy survive 5 shots from a Springfield, point blank, and still have the strength to kill me with his bare hands.

The Game is very easy with the traveling/trading ect. but if it starts to fight Robbers, it can be difficult. Now after i know it's better to have a helper with you make things much easier because you are not always the target.
The best you can do for the badge:
1. visit the Sheriff. 2. hire a helper, buy enough Food and bottles for water, don't forget to fill them on the well (you lose hp on travel without water) 3. buy leather (use Money to make Money) 4. travel to the next Town (you can always save outside a Town) 5. if you fight (random) shot them without moving, let them come. You will see if they use a gun or just fists/knifes) After your first sucess fight, you can get good items like more water bottles, weapons(pistols are also good for selling)
If you feel the fight is unfair, just reload your save and try again (it's possible to reach a new town without fighting)
After 1 triangle travel and 2 fights i got the Badge (with healing after a fight in a town)
