lol philnotphil, I've played pool for 20 yrs irl, and I have found several pool games on the net that are excellent for practicing everything but your stroke....I have not played this one yet, but I found your comment a bit ignorant really.....certainly for a pool player anyway.

Looks good, but I play too much pool irl to put up with a pool game on the computer. It is just too complex to translate to the computer.

I would have to agree that the physics are off. Conservation of momentum doesn't seem to apply here. Also (and this could just be due to the fact that I am currently reduced to running this on an older machine) the game seems to run pretty slow. I quickly got tired of waiting for all the balls to come to rest and the computer AI to process. The start of something good, just not quite there yet.

physics dont feel right, especially with the breaks, it shouldnt be more effective to break off of 1 rail instead of head on. Some of the rules are wrong, like being able to shoot back into the kitchen after a scratch, and i've never heard of a rule that lets someone take a second shot after not sinking a ball on the first. no ability to put english of any kind on the cue kinda sucks, no being able to place the cue before the break kinda sucks, but doesnt really matter since theres no such thing as a good break in this game anyways
