The game almost works now. You can sorta play the first stage, but the background is missing, as well as the menu start screen that appears to be missing some colors. After beating the first level, you can still hear the level complete screen music, but it can't progress. It's back to being a black screen.

The game almost seems to work now. It loads the initial stage except for the background, yet it is still playable. However, after the first stage is completed, I am greeted with the familiar black screen and cannot progress.

not working...........it literlly just shows a black screen :-( does somebody know how to solve?
