Genuinely one of the best tower defense games I've played. I still love going back and playing it every year or so. 10/10, absolutely amazing.

this game is surprisingly good, usually games like this would thrash the idea of classes and make them suck but i actually like the classes and the skill tree solid 5/5

Some examples: Flowr, for example (in endless mode) have about 1,000 health (I tried to count my arrows and skills' damage), just like zombies. Goblins have something like 1,150 health, just like trolls. Orcs have something like 2,100 hp (which is a "tiny" buff, considering that their default hp is 1,750). Succubus have like 1,600 hp (default is 750).
Spiders have like 1,200 hp, and moles have that hp amount too, more or less. Battering rams have something like 4,500 hp (a lot!). Also, Shields have their health almost doubled(it's somewhere between 4000 and 5000)
In the end, I think we can say that most of the enemies in endless have received a good buff (I didn't talk about slimes and bats for example, but that's because they more or less have got 1,000 hp as well).

Replying to: "Why are enemies so much stronger in endless mode? I can kill a bat in a single hit normally, but in endless mode they take 6 hits."
In my opinion, that's a developer's choice to make endless mode more challenging, because normally, when you unlock endless mode, you can insta-kill some of the normal enemies, so endless mode would be easy; therefore, I think the devs decided to upgrade every enemy by giving them more health. You know, actually every enemy was given a health upgrade (not only skeletons, goblins,bats...); even catapults, cannons and succubus (I estimate that succubus' health was multiplied by 3) have way more health than before. (To make a comparison, you should really play World 8 just before playing endless mode, because the health upgrade of all enemies becomes a lot more evident).
I hope this comment was useful :)

Tip: On the world 6 boss fight, when the boss starts the summoning phase, he keeps summoning enemies until you hit the boss again. It is a great opportunity to just heal yourself and wait for abilities to load

This game is way more fun than those daily games with microtransactions. If this game was like that, it would be 300 hours long and you'd have to beat each level 100 times before being able to defeat the next level. There's actually no grinding in this game. Only sometimes you need to replay a level if you lost or don't have all the stars, but you could do every level perfectly if you're good enough.

It took 2.5 hours to complete the game and get the Purge the Scourge Badge. It should be hard instead of medium. Some hard badges take only an hour and medium badges take like half an hour. Although I think Kongregate decides the badges.

Recommend people grind on "World 1" for awhile and max out blacksmith, it will make things easier later on, "World 2" seems good xp to level up talents... grinding is very much a part of this game to progress

Great game, but does there really need to be such a long wait between waves? "Wave completed!" . . . "Wave starting in 8 seconds!" . . . "Wave is about to start!" . . .

"slog" is its middle name. 5 waves per level? too much. multiple repeats of levels to upgrade? too much. over 50 hits to kill the bat in level 2? too much. these guys liked their game more than they should have.

with frigid blast + wall of fire + hail storm + sea of fire + scourge burst i finished the game pretty easily, died 2-3 times and didnt even max blacksmith(3 4/6, 1 5/6)

tier 1 ice and poison are best core spells to have. Ice is your knockback ability, and poison is a bit better than fire because of instant cast vs projectile travel time.
By endless mode you'll be level 40+, and can spec into pretty much anything you want.
dunno if this is a cheap micro trick, but since you can swap spells around anytime, you can fire off all your spells when a big wave comes, and then slowly recharge them all for the next wave.

Love this game. One suggestion, though our spells should be able to cool down when they're not active. Requiring them to remain active to cool down limits our flexibility, especially with the bigger spells like Fire Sea and Scourge Burst. If our spells could cool down while being inactive, it would open up dozens of new spell combo paths. Not to mention, save our a$$e$ when we're in a tight spot.

Listen, I'm sure no one plays this any more, but I do and I keep getting frozen out at the end of level six, which bums me out. It would be cool if it got fixed.
