It's so easy. I just got a deck full of legendaries of which 6 are fully fused from the store with my free war bonds I got from the start and I just blast through the campaign. Every time I run out of stamina, I just beat rivals in the Battle mode until the stamina resets and I beat missions again.

I just went through 11 battles for the BOTD with mostly horrible cards and 2 good ones and now I have my free P2W cards to destroy all the enemies for a while until they catch up and grinding or paying becomes necessary. These cards I got are insane.

Truly P2W. I just opened a razorclaw box for 60 war bonds and got a card with 40 attack and 150 hp and 2 turns waiting (Malaphos Fumigator). So much stronger than any card I've used to get the easy badge. Completely unstoppable even by an entire enemy deck.

An Epic Pack with 4 cards costs 20 war bonds. 50 war bonds costs $5. Therefore an Epic Pack costs $2 or 50 cents per card. A Pokemon booster pack costs $4 for 10 cards or 40 cents per card. This game costs more than Pokemon, but for fake cards. Compared to the online Pokemon TCG, it's significantly more expensive since a code cards costs like 50 cents or 5 cents per card.

You might get used to the hundreds of war bonds you have at the start and waste them without realizing that they are "worth" like 70 dollars.

Choose a random card and drag it on the board. Do that a bunch of times to win or lose. Set speed to 4x. Maybe even skip turns if you want. Turn on auto battle. Still win. Until you get far enough that you need to upgrade. It's nothing compared to for example MTG where you need to actually use strategy and can have a variety of cards in your hand.

Apparently it cut off zone one out of what you can access if you get far enough, which is annoying, but that also makes it ignore any hard-earned stars you've gotten from there, which makes the already very-tedious medium badge a literal Sisyphean task if that's what happens when you continue.

so i need days to open a mission, click skip, open the same mission click skip, till i get a second star on it and then repeat this over and over to get the 2nd badge.
this is ridiculously boring even without the strange energy cost and cap...

While I certainly do enjoy the engaging and complex game loop of "skip-next-skip-next-skip-next" the energy system really gets in the way of my fun here!

the strategy that worked best for me is to swarm the enemy with high health cards and cards with the counter effect. if you start with a card with a counter, always pick it. mission 9 is difficult because the enemy is using that exact strategy. But that enemy has very low hp so you can use the same strategy but use cards without any attack delay so you can beat them in 1-4 turns. enjoy beating mission 11. 1/5

What's worse is even if you join a guild, they're all practically dead, and it's not like they're sorted out in an activity basis, but rather i think just random... I do have to say however, after trying it out it is somewhat entertaining, but like- the fact that you have to replay each level a lot to get all 3 stars, the energy systems and the absurd price and lack of explanations just hurt the game more... 2/5 if im being kind

Lord the comments and literally 2 seconds in and I can already see that it's just not worth trying this game out... that beig said- why is it rated a 4/5? common people, start 1 starring bad games

fortress cache gave only one of the cards shown (legendary) for the 60 cost, whereas epic pack would have given 1 epic card and 3 others maybe legendary for 20 cost. it never said i would only get 1 card. and the $ prices are insane like ppl have said forever. so many reasons not to play games here.

CardCaster, the mobile app works fine. You just have to give the game the permissions it needs to run. Should just be in settings.

The game is somewhat more accessible from the get go than it had been a few years ago. The status of the cards barely go beyond triple digits and now have a proper power ceiling.
For anyone worried about pay to win, yes the best cards are usually found within boxes but they can be bought by getting 6x1000 war bonds from certain mutant bosses, and cards gained from events like brawls and raids more than make up enough power to match box cards.

okay, this game is unfinished. It's like they had a lot of artwork, slapped some random abilities on them, not caring about balance, until people keep using the same cards (Omega, for example) and then they nerf that card... which is annoying af btw
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game is up since 2014 but it feels like a fresh unfinished pile of rush jobs. The balance is way off, the cards you can grind for get randomly nerfed, in an attempt to balance i guess, but shit cards stay shit and pay2win cards stay unbalanced. Another moneygrabber that doesn't seem to care.

played this game 5 years ago for a year, then couple years ago for couple months. and now started fresh and already have a stronger deck in a week then how much it took me to grind before

Okay, so I've made an 1-card deck where you can kill any commander first turn.... And with only 1 event card. GG, you killed your own game.
