its a good game maybe if you updated new things (like the graphics in-game not just the loading sceen) and made it a little more interesting with in-game achievemnets that give you resources than maybe it would be better

Really? A world reset? So not only do I have to waste my time trying to get stupid badges while players attack me and set me back, but now, halfway through, I have to start all over?

I disagree with this game getting badges, but my 1/5 has nothing to do with that. This is another sh*tty clone of caesary, heroes of gaia, etc.

Realize you should PLAY THE GAME, not play it for BADGES. The whole point of the badges is for those who seriously play this game!! You're telling me that you come to Kongregate just to get badges? That is by far the dumbest thing I have heard. You should play a game because it is GOOD, not because it has badges. Now stop rating this down. It is a wonderful game that if you ACTUALLY PLAYED, you would agree. +1 if you agree.

If anything, the badges on this game are much more reasonable than the ones on HoG and Caesary. Upgrading all 45 structures takes a much shorter time than you would think, especially if you choose a Speed server and/or get into a decent alliance. If you're going for badges and you didn't, it's your own fault, not that of the devs. Regardless, badging these types of games always leads to trouble on the sides of both the badge hunters and the regular players. The poor developers just get caught in the cross fire.

@ sabertooth15: The easy badge may be a breeze but you need to put in too much time for a medium badge, especially if you're on a 2 or 3 tick/hour world.

wow, all the new comments that are complaining about badges suddenly got rated up 5 times, mine went from +5 to -1 and LOLGhNoOB's went from +1 to -7 (But I don't care about that one cuz I hate him). Either there's a hacker, or a group of nubs teamed up to rate everything.

I won't rate because I'm very prejudiced against these types of games...
But for the love of ANYTHING STOP! putting badges on MMOs, some of them like Dinowaurs are now unnatainable and most MMO flash games have terrible servers anyway.

You guys obviously won't stop saying "No badges on MMO'S!" so cn I at least ask that you do NOT rate the game 1 because it has badges?? Seriously, the game having badges has NOTHING to do with the game. It's a good game. Kongregate is the one that put the badges, not the maker of this game, so seriously, GET THE RATING BACK UP!!!

tarkil, you think these badges aren't easy? You can get the easy badge RIGHT when you start the game, just skip the tutorial, build a barracks and recruit 10 units.

If/when MMO's get badges, they should be easy ones. Really easy ones. Like taking 5 minutes to get. Badges like these annoys ppl who don't like MMOs or this specific game, and annoys the established player base because the worlds gets swarmed with players who aren't interested in the game. Then you'd get more ppl trying the game without a zillion flame comments.

I'm not sure why these games have picked up so much lately. Ceasary, Evony, Lord of Ultima, this mess. There are a lot of options out there. So much time invested and you just end up quitting because its poorly designed. There are just so many badges on this site now I won't ever get. 1/5

WHOA, what just happened to the top comments! GEEZ GUYS, WHY DO YOU HATE MMO BADGES SO MUCH! Is there a hacker that just rated down all the top comments a million times and rated all the comments saying that this game shouldn't have badges? All the comments suddenly changed just because of two badges. There's nothing wrong with adding these badges! There won't be anything stopping you from getting those two badges, so stop complaining. I know this comment will be rated down like CRAZY because everybody here has gone CRAZY. I might even set a new record for lowest rated comment.

Ok now i agree there shouldn't be badges since people that dont even know stradegy or patience (twillightdoom, TheExploder). Are rating this game down and it has lost .13 Stars in ONE DAY.....

People are complaining about the MMO's. This one is way better then Caesery and not as many people bitched about that. I have an Idea. Stop bitching about the amount of badges in MMO's. If you don't want to play the game then don't play the game. Who cares if you don't have a few badges. The badges do nothing but boost your ego and so you can say, I wasted this much of my life going for this badge.

I tried to like this game,I really did,but I couldn't like it.Sure I didn't play past the tutorial and people that like the game are gonna say "It gets better when you play more"But I just didn't feel that push to continue playing.

I dissagree entirely with kermitk. I have played a lot of MMO's and this is the best browser one so far. Different maps and ages is a great idea, gives you more options. Ticks are a brilliant idea, speeds up the game, since you gain resources at least twice an hour (depends on the server), makes coordinated attacks easier, etc. The troops are also great, you have a wide selection to choose from with different strenghts and weaknesses, and buildings are upgraded in less than half an hour (in others MMO Empire games time variates, reaching 40 hours for upper lvls!). As for badges, I think its a bad choice to put them in MMO's, since it takes an awfull lot of time and normally its just not worth it (most of the least awarded non-impossible badges are from MMO's). Kongregate, plz make this the last one. 5/5 game, but there are a lot of great games out there needing badges (1066 still doesnt have them T_T).

Even as an MMO, I have to say - this had potential. However this game is slow even in turn based mmo standards. Also, it is missing a lot of depth seen in other, similar games.
Basically, this game is a painting of a good game. It looks pretty and you can see some good ideas, but it doesnt really DO anything...

Is that the best you can do with badges? Most of the people who were playing logged in and got them, take the badges off, because they are attracting noobs, and filling up worlds, it's annoying.
