To get the hard badge, play through the game twice. The first time, collect all the lightning bolts and die all you want. Always touch checkpoints, so dying won't affect you. Just finish the level with all 3 lightning bolts. Unlock the fan levels, which gives you 8 bonus levels. These are the levels you shouldn't try to get 0 deaths: 42, 47, 53, ~70, 71, 74, 76, ~78. (70 and 78 are doable, but not as impossible as the rest). The rest can be done with little raging, because levels become 10 times easier when you're not trying to get lightning bolts.

Very good platformer - Takes good concepts from other games and applies it with a twist. The unlockable skins are very nice, and relatable.

Excellent platformer! Not too hard, not too easy. It's really nice that you included all those references to previous games (unlockable skins). I really enjoyed the last level... a nod to us old time gamers. 5/5... but honestly deserves a bit more. :-)

For those having trouble getting the badge to register, click on "Report missing achievement" on the badge tab, you can send them a screenshot and they will award you the badge and badge of the day. Plus this so the many people who seem to have trouble with it can see this.

I give up...completed 70 of 72 levels without losing a life, Chrome crashes and I find that the game hasn't saved itself...why have a continue option of you can't use it?

Some hint on the Badge od the Day: The easy badge triggers only on the Skin Jelly in Level 7 (the first one in the game). If you get a later Skin, but omitting the one in Level 7, the easy Badge won't trigger.

To get the Facebook and twitter levels, just click on it, close the tab that opens facebook/twitter and you get 8 free levels, so for the hard badge you can skip 8 levels if you want!

There's a shortcut on 78: Fall down the pit to grab the two lightning bolts. On the ledge you land on, edge off slowly. As soon as you fall, tap left to land on the edge of the fire ledge. Then jump and go left all the way past on top. Nice! Upvote so other can see!

The Easy is not for YOUR first skin; it is for THE first skin on level 7. Wait for the door to open and then enter. The Hard is for not dying on ANY 72 levels so replace difficult levels with easy Fan levels. Unlock Fan levels by clicking the bird and "f" icons and immediately close the window that opens. Do not worry much about bolts; if levels 70-72 do not unlock (180 bolts?), do more Fan levels. I replaced levels 30, 42, 71 with 73, 75, 77. For Stats, click the 2 in upper left to see levels after 60.

Nice game but why is it running so slow? It's a fairly simple game (in terms of number of objects and complexity). It should run perfectly smooth AND fast even on weak machines.
But I feel like my character is moving in Honey. And my PC isn't that weak either!

i love it. It's challenging and rage-inducing, yet not so rage-inducing that I want to give up on it. I love the way the jellies leave marks on whichever surfaces it touches, and that some levels give you a choice of making it harder to get lightning bolts or making it easier by skipping them. It's a very tempting challenge. Those moving jellies of different speeds really made things interesting. I can't even put the rest of it into words. I just love this game so much. It really stands out from other platformer games. I wish Kongregate had a 10 star system instead of a 5 star system, because I would totally give this game a 10/10. Amazing job!

tip for beating 47 with no deaths: go through the blue laser to remove the blue blocks, go through the area that this unlocks and then when you return to the top go through the RED laser. after that go through the blue area again (the springs and the fire). then back at the top, go through the GREEN laser, go through the blue area again. the LASTLY go through the yellow laser. you now have access to the area with the red portal and can get to the end without having to go through the annoying yellow and green areas.

ok is it just me that the game will randomly decide to speed up in levels then lag, and lead to WAY too many deaths to even think about the hard badge?

I think the Hard badge should become Impossible, and the new Hard would be 'Complete the game' or 'Get all the characters' or something. One does not simply 'one-life Jelly Escape'.

Today I was finally able to reconnect to the chat, to get the hard badge. And I found out that I already had it since june 17th 2012. Looks like my taste for these kind of games hasn't changed! XD

It wasn't until after I got 0 deaths on lvls 1-72 that I saw it doesn't have to be all those levels... Well, I feel better knowing that I did the impossible.

Great game. More than 5 thumbs up for its astoundingly soft controls: they never disappoint you! Also, the frequent save points avoid frustation and add to the addiction. 5/5.

the level i struggled most was lvl 30, i actually managed to beat the rest without dying faster than this one... always seems to screw something up. Great game
