Game still lags like hell even on the lowest quality setting. Probably because the quality setting doesn't actually affect the quality, all it does is remove stuff from the background. The quality setting is supposed to reduce the resolution, you know, like every other flash game does! Even more inconvenient is that you disabled the quality setting in the right click menu.

it is still annoying. Please make the walljump even more responsive. And how about being able to survive three hits before dying or something? I swear, this is harder than Meatboy.

Really needs a "return to menu" option. Realizing you selected the wrong level (or beat the last secret level... I'd like to try reverse, etc. now) means needing to run through the whole thing or reload the page. Waste of time. Otherwise, the game was really great. I do wish there was more of an ending, post-youknow.

Going backwards towards where you came in kills you? Very fustrating when I kept doing that by mistack in the wall jump lvl. Out side the futration it was fun and i really wont to get to the end to see the story through. Hope i do before rage quit takes over.

I think the game lacks a 'motive', a reason to keep going through the levels which get harder and harder and there is no immediate satisfaction for the player because 'he dies' too much.
So, how about putting some fancy flashbacks in between levels telling the story behind? i've played 4 levels expecting a reason to keep on running around for a reason but there was no clue. Back in the 80's people there was mario and simple platformers worked. But since then games have developed into more complex and either try to innovate or are turning into 'movie experience' based video games.
Not sure if i'm right, just my humble opinion. Game is great, specially music I find it totally awesome but something seems to keep missing to me. Maybe it's the 'leitmotif' I'm talking about.

I really want to like this game. I made it through all the forest levels, which, while took some frustration, were playable. But it seems like, even with the quality set to low, the further along you make it, the less responsive the controls are. I invented some interesting and new profanity in the butcher levels.

The platform for the final piece on the first walljump level is very frustratingly placed. I cannot tell you how many times I have missed that jump by a pixel.

very hard, but really great game. the way he moves reminds me somehow of megaman. the controls were a bit hard to manage, i died like 100 times in parts where i felt that i pressed the right buttons at the right time, but yeah its a hard game 5/5

I found that on level 11 if I used Z to run and X to jump, I simply couldn't jump whilst running and yet it was fine if I used SHIFT to run and X to jump. Not sure if this is something you can fix or not, but yeah I spent a loooooooooooong time failing miserably because I prefer Z to SHIFT :/

Should add that u can do a jump after falling off a ledge, counterintuitive to jump from a platform to do a double jump from a lower point.

Love It, Still Challenging After The Update, And still induces punching your screen and DragonBallZ style rage, but now doesn't make me contemplate suicide when i can't quite reach that red puzzle piece :D

un responsive controls ie, jumping too high when only quick press, not jumping high enough when holding in, and continuiing to walk when key is depressed, graphics are good, story seems kool but a im giving up half way through main story because of controls wont really know

This game is perfect. Finished everything without problem. It is possible to finish the game with 0 deaths, and if it's impossible to do something, that means you need to enter that place again another time. One advice: don't try second slaughter level without double jump :) Gonna save you about 200 lives to find out ;D

I got to level 14, I crashed flash in my browser, and when I reloaded the page, everything i had done was lost. annoying.

Also, while the input lag still exists, Low Quality settings did seem to fix it... Except in the Butchery. Which is probably the hardest part.

this game was great the wall jump is pretty bad until you get the double jump but once you do its awesome i beat it on hardcore mode :D

To Tawstudio: I was playing this game before fix, and played it all the way through after the update. the game lags more! instead of less !!!
On both Firefox and Google chrome.
Btw i loved the game :D nice difficulty level.

I liked it. seemed to me like the wall-jumping worked as intended. I do wish you could jump from a free-fall once you've acquired the double-jump ability. Having said that it was easy enough to give a slight hop before falling.
Good difficulty for me since I was actually able to beat the game, but it took multiple deaths on some of the stages.

can smb explain me how to reach to the puzzle(NOT bad memmory) in level where you get a wall jump ability? i tool the bad one but it is impossible to take pink puzzle!

A lot of the times double jump is a hinderance when trying to wall jump, especially when you've got spikes trying to penetrate-;)-you from all angles, and blocks disappearing when you breathe on them.

1.0.2 seems to have improved the responsiveness of the controls to a decent enough level. Thanks or looking into that and fixing it -- it's great to see a developer respond so quickly to problems raised by the players. Unfortunately, level 3 is so frustratingly hard that I'm still not interested in the game but, hey, there'll be people who don't like it whatever you do. I look forward to seeing more of your games.

Ok, I put it down to the lowest quality, and I still can't pass some levels with all the memories because of lag, Has potential, but 3/5 until fixed

10 deaths on a level achievement! Yeah, because controls are buggy as hell and the game lags at random parts for no reason. I don't feel a need to continue

This was awesome. The controls were fairly responsive (at least when I played) and the levels were challenging without being stupidly hard, and the music was absolutely FANTASTIC.

The bounce for wall jump is too far--it should, in my opinion, be more like Mega Man X's, with the option to jump further when the run button is held down.
