In a game where split second timing is required you simply cant have issue with the jumping, unfortunately there is, sometimes it doesnt even move when you try to jump, sometimes you just slide off, it had potential but a platformer where the control system is flawed is never going to work.

This looked great, I had my hopes up for a great story, but the controls are AWFUL. What's wrong with WASD?? At least give us the options to choose our own keys.

2/5 game would be great, but in arcade controlling the hero is crucial. The game is lagging even with low quality and controls behave odd, for example jumping comes with delay after pushing space bar. It ruins whole game.

Wow, walljump mechanics are bad. You have to time it so precisely. Developer: Try making it so that, if you were hanging on the wall anytime in the last 1/2 second, you can walljump. That way, if the player pressed the direction button a bit too early, they still get the intended action. (And thanks for adding W/up for jump)

The lag has certainly reduced. The issue with disintegrating platforms remains, as does the slight run lag, but outside of these, the game is notably less laggy. Not perfect, but I can see a clear reduction.

Well, well, well... the game is good, but, come on ! the control is horrible ! Sometime, the pig jumped 1 second after i press the space bar, or he's just moving too far or not enough... it's just implayable for the later level.

Enjoyable level design, but terrible jumping controls. That pig should jump instantly when a button is pressed. Speaking of which, there is no good reason to use the shift and space bar for your controls in a game like this.

I think the biggest issue for me as running away from spikes as a text bubble appears, I either die trying to read it and only get some of the message, or skip it and feel like I may have missed some important information.
Pause the game with a text bubble or just omit them from the dangerous parts of the maps.

took me 2 hours to finish the butcher and the forest, love this game the final lvl of the butcher is really hard when u gotta push the red button everytime u died :(

Good game. Had no problems with controls myself but the level times are bugged. It counts from the last checkpoint and not from the start of the level.

It wants to be a good game, but it just isn't. I can do all the actions necessary to get through the harder levels, but the controls just are not allowing me. Fix the controls and you have a good game.

controls easy, despite complaints, but you need to duplicate the leap and others such as the arrows (or just away from WASD), for example, on the SPACE does not always work. good reflex arcade, the majority of deaths still due to inexperience and vinyl arms, I have not noticed lag. I have great amuse Achievement: "Beat all levels without duing", LOL

so jumping over and over again from floating platforms while dodging flying spikes is great if the controls allow one to do such a thing... the game started out great.... then just became tedious toward the end..... will not finish....

A precision platformer in the I Wanna Be The Guy mould with a jump button that doesn't respond roughly one time in ten? That's true sadism right there. I think I've died 50 times on that vertical tunnel at the start of level 15 because Mr Bree just doesn't go when I tell him to. I might come back to this game once I've replaced the desktop keyboard and my bedroom window.

Love the game, but I strongly suggest to add checkpoints; if you want to mantain the difficulty, add an hardcore mode and state that won't have them. An easier mode with checkpoints will allow people to practice the level in chunks and eventually try in one session in hardcore. Also definitely add customizable controls, since it's definitely likely that people want to use up to jump, me included. Also give more margin when jumping from the edges and when detecting collisions from saws. Still 5/5 from me

To all guys complaining about lag and controls: i had the same problem with firefox but with safari it ran pretty smooth. Maybe it's your browser?

Change the jump key to up and you've got a decent game. Hitting x or space over and over starts getting really annoying.

Finished great background,nice music overall great game but the wallslide thing is very annoying still this is the first platformer game i like.

After still more testing with the assistance of a friend, there is also some very minor input lag when sprinting in levels with a high density of events on screen, such as Butchery 2's central section. Even so, the input lag is much, much smaller than that on other levels, and non-existant in that level when you are not sprinting.

Save point. Right next to a box shooting spikes. Spawn right as the box fires a spike. Holding space or x does not let you jump out of the way. Can anyone think of why this is a problem? (Hint: It involves beating the level).

Well almost played it through 2 levels to go (butcher) still 5/5 and i love the difficulty level :)
also love the jokes ( abillity walk climb) Spider pig :P (simpsons) deserves higher rating imo all those noobs who rage quit, ah wel thats what you get with the new generation dindt play mario games on nes and snes :D

If you did not make a first jump, you cannot make a second jump, I guess that make sense......but I really want to make a double jump when I walk down a platform.

Overall not horrible did not have many of the same control gripes other than the wall jump but the dissolving blocks seem to be problematic in the sense that the animation takes to long for precision jumps when trying to jump over also maybe to many save points in levels otherwise artistically a funny gruesome that looked and felt great!

After some testing, the input lag is caused by the scrolling background on the forest levels. It does not show up in the butchery levels. Should the developer patch in a non-scrolling background, the lag will dissappear. Please upvote this so the developer can see.

great game but the last bad memory level was too frustrating. notwanting to give it away but you have to do the levelwithout dying and if you hit a save point it set you even further back!

Wasted potential in my eyes. Good level design, good (for a flash game) music, good handling of plot in a platformer. Good graphical design that looks good, and doesn't distract, undermined by input lag.
Patch the input lag out, and this would be a great game, but for now, it's only worthy of a 3/5.

Jumping and Walljumping feel highly unresponsive sometimes, makes it hard. I wonder if I get the 1000-deaths-achievement.

@luqui01 Its like making an fps with a trigger that worked half the time. Any time you make a game thats flawed at the most basic level, its not a great game. This game could be really good with just a little listening and tweaking. It could be a 5/5 game but now its at most a 3/5.
