@Draconavin: You need to check your Consecutive Waves stat on your Stat Page. You can also play a little dirty by reloading the page right after leaking, before it saves. If you're at a higher wave, save available, but you're about to leak due to a shield, save and refresh. It will reroll the shields for that wave, and hopefully be more favourable. Only do this for rhe badge. As you get higher, the "default" is for enemies to come with multiple shields, necessitating the purchase of the "reduced chance of elemental shield" upgrades from multiple sources, in order to ensure the lowest chance of shield(and Water Exotic Squiddler to further neutralise)

Even though I have reached wave 1000 twice without leaking any enemies.
I tried to save when I was over 1000 without leaking any enemies, and still no badge triggered. When I lost at above 1000 wave nothing triggered the badge. I prestiged the first time at over 1000 wave, and nothing. I refreshed the page; still nothing. Any tips or help?

It would be great if there were a way to see which of your towers can be upgraded, rather than having to click on all of them.

For those who are working on 1000 no death waves for the impossible badge, just follow the tech ship strategy in the comments, but know that you don't need to max all tech ship upgrades to get the it. I kept pushing waves without prestiging up till 1300+ (so i can get as many tech as possible), but it was overkill. Once you max most of the bottom upgrades, choose 2 elements and level the respective damage only (instead of leveling All Damage). You should already have your exotics by now and tier 4 research using the tech ship strategy. Just put half one element, half the other element, then leave one space for a third element in case of enemy with double resistance that matches both your chosen elements. This way you can afk and not be afraid of leaking enemies with double resistance. If you still have troubles, save up a daily reward or 2.

Tip: Don't spend your gems before doing this! Save 500 gems and buy the permanent 2× game speed upgrade from the premium shop.

Something to take note: The gold portion of your daily bonus is actually reduced until you put down towers. Went from 20m to 30m just by loading my towers vs an empty map. Might just be after prestiging, but still worth taking notice of.

@AtomicKitKat Use two daily rewards in one run and you should be able to blow well past 1K. Either by collecting at the end of one day and the beginning of the next, or just log out after collecting one day. Just make sure to carry EMP and Rain of Fire in case of units with dual resistance.

@KeeperBvK spent a few days trying to max out all daily missions to accumulate diamonds. Also, do the tournament that shows up every 3 days. All the little upgrades work with one another. Try to focus on only 2 towers and all other towers are just for support. When you unlock the exotics, they really help.

Taken about 3 weeks so far, and I'm at Wave 920+ continuous. All in all, not that impossible of an impossible badge, but still quite a grind, if you're not using a guide. Definitely reroll Artifacts when you unlock Tier 4,because you're 99% guaranteed to max out all the easily maxable ones, and that's a pretty huge boost in power(also, some of your lower damage boosts will probably get traded on for higher tier versions, which is another power boost).

I have no complaints besides the Tech Ship HP not resetting. Given how critical it is and how much boosts it gives, if you don't follow the exact path down the tech tree and wasted your first tech upgrades, there is NO turning back. You lose a large amount of tech upgrades PERMANENTLY because the HP just keeps growing exponentially. So you are stuck with being worse off till the end of the game, which may be months or years.

The best thing to use against the carriers seems to be the Death Awaits spell(they count as bosses). Try to max it out as much as you can by the time you get the Carriers to the high teens(scientific notation). It will still take like 4 castings to take one down. The other thing to do is save up for a week to buy the 1000 diamond resource pack, so that you can use the Tech tree(for path) to make each Tech carrier more profitable.

Would be nice if both the carriers' HP were reset each day, rather than having us have to spend 50 gems just to lower it. Alternatively, have the 50 gems hp lowering be a daily thing, rather than something that you HAVE to do just to overtake it. Maybe have the carrier start at 5B each day, but every time you beat it, it goes up by 1000, so 5B, 5T, 5Qd, 5Qt, etc. So you can spend the 50 gems(and get back 10 for beating it), or you can try to summon it a few times until you wear down that 5B, rather than a sunk cost that never actually seems to pays off(because the current rate of health increase far oustrips the 75% hp reduction).

Nvm. Seems you can lower it by prestiging at the previous halfway mark, and it will lower each time(lowest is 50). It should probably still be capped though, otherwise if you're at Wave 10000 or whatever, you'll have to get all the way back up to 5000 before you can prestige again.

I feel like there should be a lower cap to prestige, especially if there's a daily task tied to it. Having it keep going up to half of your current wave makes it really hard to hit the 10 prestiges a day cap unless you have all the speed up bonuses bought.

@fruitberry: I guess you used the boss rush feature that skips 80% of levels? Those then don't count towards the badge. It's stupid, but that's how the game operates

I was able to get the Badge of the Day (BotD) "Beginner Monster Badge" so the badge being recognized may have been fixed for those who were having trouble earlier getting the BotD.

Time Played (Tier 3) daily challenge takes 8 hours and gives you 8 gems. And the game should be opened this whole time. Total Waves (Tier 3) is even worse - 4000 completed waves for 8 gems. I think this is not worth it.

Confirmed, Prestiged and no Kong badge/achievement achieved. Seems to be broken.
Spare yourself this 20 minute torture. "Monster Tiles TD" of the same dev is a much better game.

Zmonge, if you draw a monster you already have, its DPS increases. You can see it by clicking the magnifying glass in the top left corner of the monster upgrade screen, clicking on the general tab and scrolling to the bottom.

So if you draw a monster you already have it just doesn't count and you've wasted resources on a draw? And you can't get those resources back on a wave you've already beaten so if you're stuck you're just stuck until you've accrued enough gold to level your towers up to kill everything in the wave?

One of the daily missions is time played. 1 star = 1 hour. 2 stars = 3 hours. 3 stars = ? Seriously, playing even more than 3 hours, possibly 5 or 6 hours per day for a daily mission?

Wait.... So you can spend ingame currency to roll to get more/better towers, but once you have the tower, you can still get it in the roll and receive nothing for having spent the ingame currency? Same with the free roll on the artifacts every five levels? What kinda garbage is that. I'm guessing Kong is getting some kickback to have these games be the badge of the day, but man they are promoting so pure dumpster fires of games recently...

Dear devs, we do not need forced tutorials where we are not allowed to play for the first 2-5 minutes of the game. Seriously, players actually know how to figure out how to play a game that is designed with common gaming UI's and conventions in mind. Unless the devs don't know what common conventions in games actually are in which case, they should do some basic research into basic game UI and mechanics that the gaming community has known and understood for a very long time.
