I'm finding an issue where if the amount of crew members needed for a mission excedes 100, it resets to 0 and is very misleading to people.

Accidentally clicked "skip clear planets" after finishing the moon missions and the game keeps popping up with "Don't leave just yet! we should head back to earth first to collect those new engines". and it pops up as soon as i close it, i can't untick the box. tried a refresh still stuck :/
Hi! Thanks for finding the cause of this bug! It was so annoying! I've now made it so you can't start skipping planets until after you've finished the tutorial. Thankyou :)

All my crew members are sick/serverely damaged. They are not being healed. Hired new recruit and sent him to work in sick bay. But counter of workers in sick bay never increased, however counter of free workers went down. Now hiring new crew member is more expensive, while I lost just recruited one.

Well... I'd feel a lot better about that score if high scores tracked that, not just total distance traveled. Just saying.

the game is still broken for me and still unplayable i cant click on stats page to reset my account your damn popup wont leave me the hell alone
This should be fixed in the latest version, it was caused by trying to skip the moon during the tutorial, and it gets stuckin a loop. If you try it now, you might find it works, if not, we'll have a chat and see what I can do for you :)

There is an error (window titled Cancel Mission) when you try to send "0 crew" on missions (due to high luck upgrade) saying: " Warning: Your crew will be returned to you but you'll lose any progress made on it! " . You can choose yes or no, but both are not working. Can't finish the game now :(

I'm stuck on Ciolaclite, it keep saying I don't have enough idle workers to start the 14-men mission, even if I put 100 workers on idle. (by the way, I think it's a silly limitation, as is the max of 999 science points)
Should be fixed in the latest version, maximum workers per mission is now 75, this was the text for the number 114 wrapping back around to just display 14. If you could try the latest version that would be brilliant :)

PART 2
Third, I know a few of you are stuck on the tutorial that bugged out in the first version. To solve this, I've added the option to reset your save file data in the STATS panel, and unlocked it a little earliar. I hope this gets you going again.
Along with these, theres so many fixes to the collection of planets, you'll no longer collect several planets you haven't visited yet, and have uncleared planets marked with a star. Fixes everywhere.
Also, for the kind people who might be going a little easy on me because this is the first game on my personal account, please don't! I've actually developed dozens of games while working at Armor Games, including some that lived on the front page of Kongregate for several years, like Upgrade Complete :p

Hello everyone, Antony here, I've just uploaded a new (the third to be uploaded) version of the game
Thanks for the feedback, this kind of game has the potential for a LOT of bugs and balance issues. I'm working through all I've read from players and Kong staff to get this game running well :)
First, the new features: The mission system is now MUCH more simple to send your crew members on, and is less confusing, as you no longer need to manually assign crew members and counting how many you have free to make sure you have enough. I hope you prefer how much faster it lets you handle missions.
Second, the research panel has also been overhauled. I've decided that I like being able to see all the research that has been completed, but you guys were right, the scrolling through it each time to get to new research items was a massive massive pain, so from now on, new research items appear at the top, so scrolling miles and miles is a thing of the past! Let me know what you think.

I can't begin missions, crew required is 0 when I click start it says "your crew will be returned to you but you'll lose any progress made on it."
Hi there, could you try the version I've just reuploaded a moment ago, it should recalculate the number of crew needed from 0 to 3. Does this fix the issue in the screenshot you sent me? Thank you so much :)

Great Game, just gets very tedious with the missions having to start, wait, and then collect. Suggest for the missions to collect automatically(possibly with an upgrade) and this would be an even better game. Upvote if you agree.

Bug: Occasionally when I send a crew member to the med crew when it's at 00 they'll just disappear. Also there will be no healing on the crew before I send the one who disappears.

I feel like the satellites give far too little money for them to be worth clicking on, even early in the game, and it doesn't seem to scale at all.
This is practically at the top of the list for rebalancing, the originally played a big part in the economy, now they don't as much and they need to start pulling their weight! :p

With as big as the buttons are for the missions, maybe try making them smaller or the scroll larger? It's hard having to scroll down for every two

It's alright. My biggest complaint is that I don't think a single bit of text in this game was NOT auto-generated. I stopped reading everything as soon as I recognized the patterns. It's cute to use a formula, but if that's ALL you use, it gets old real quick. Upgrade titles are the worst, because they don't actually MEAN anything, they're just "Verb+Adjective+Tech Piece." Spice it up a bit. The only text even remotely interesting is at the beginning (and maybe the end, not there yet).

There also needs to be an upgrade to increase the maximum research points you can have at one time. Most of my crew is dedicated to research so having it max at 999 is a tad bit annoying. I do like however, that my game data was saved. Most beta games (and some alpha games) won't dave your data. nice job!
We have dedicated rows of people named dave willing to save your game files. They are standup guys! The game is going to be balanced based on all of this feedback from beta players, so expect a lot of caps to change, I'm pretty sure the research points cap will be increased, or the value of each research point increased but generated more slowly (so 999 takes longer to reach but each point can buy more research stuff)

Dang, got over 1mil distance traveled yesterday, come back and all progress reset. I hate when that happens. Probably will wait for bugs to be fixed before starting over again, and hope it doesnt happen again.
I've tried my best to protect game save compatibility during the beta, I don't know why this would have happened. Hopefully soon there will be cloud saving to keep it safe across devices too.

think we can have a hide completed button, or rather then 1000 research project, a culmative research for each catagory, where instead of spending 5 differnt research points, 1 single point of 1k research will increase X%

Once i've selected "skip clear planets" the game should should not interrupt you each planet it clears with useless "ship" panel animation but stay in "research" panel, which is the main.

not sure if you've made games for other websites ever but i know its your first for this website and im not trying to put you down just anyway ignore what others say about lots of clicking or anything i mean seriously clicking is apart of a lot of idle games... im sorry ive made this comment super long anyway just have fun but try to listen to the comments they are only trying to help.. one more thing maybe with meteors you could spend them on upgrades for your facilities? like cheaper crew members or faster research time and maybe use it to buy research points and even buy a permanent system that slowly earns research points without crew members

I think if you were to aim lower with planets and then slowly add in features... not to many as you'll end up making the game just a mess and hard to figure out, and end up needing LONG tutorials.. also should be option to skip tutorial and/or use a system most games do where it keeps you from clicking other options then what the tutorial said to do, as ive noticed a lot of people keep having problems, and one last thing(Or not.... sorry i just.. im not good to limiting on suggestions lol) The max for research points is cool and all but if your going to make it an "idle" game then you need a much higher max or no max at all... i would rate 5/5 but its too short... it has a lot of promise just try not to aim to high to start off with i know its your first game on this website...

Very quick game... i guess this is one reason to have it in beta lol, first off your aiming to high, instead of going for a ton of planets to try to make it a longer game perhaps add in more mission or instead change the climbing for missions i mean seriously the mission before the new ones in the new planet im on is barely much higher at all
I'm getting a lot of good bug feedback, it's immensely helpful. The latest version is much better than the Dec 2 version. I hope you like it once you do play :)

Its a bit short, after 20 or so planets you just have to skip all the missions because you hit your gold limit of 999999 and have nothing useful to spend it on. and you cant reach your max speed between planets anyway. lots of clicking leave planet and; game over.
This game is going to go through a big set of balance revisions based on this feedback, i'm copying them to my notepad file so that I can pace the game all the way to the destination :) Thanks for beta testing it :)

Just an idea, but add a button to move multiple people at once because I stack everybody in a room and clicking 100 times is not so fun.

When you click "Leave Earth", the "Ship" tab is highlighted but the Research panel stays up.
Also, if you hold down the (-) for researchers from about 10 or more, you get an extra crew member for free, but if you hit (+), the count for researchers stays at 0.

So far, pretty fun. Couple of bugs ive run into: idk how, but I broke the achievement popup thing. It keeps repeating the new max speed popup, even after refreshing. It always shows the new highest, so if i buy an engine, then refresh, it updates, but still just constantly shows. Also, money stops at 999,999, even though there are upgrades that cost 1 million plus, so no way to purchase those.

been playing for a while now and love it. However, maybe you can implement something like what clicker heroes has.you can minimize the upgrades. Ive maxed a lot of mine and i don't like having to continusly scroll. would be nice that once they are maxed they disappear
My wife said exactly the same thing :) it's high up on my list of things to do after the initial big bug fixes. I'll probably add a remove button to them so you can click them away.
EDIT: Research items now sort the other way around, so your new items are always at the top with no scrolling needed :)

quality settings are a must for a game like this. more music options would be nice too. Other than that i have no complaints (yet. only played for like 5 mins)
There is a low quality mode that is not enabled in this version because it requires refreshing the game to load smaller assets and no shader effects. I might include it in a version in the next few days. Thanks for the advice :)

An option to skip the opening cutscene would be nice, even though you only see it the first time. People don't have time for cutscenes.
I've set it to skip every time after the first now, but I actually use a portion of the intro to load a lot of things in the background over the course of about 20 seconds so as to not slow or freeze up the game during it's playthrough. I've added a skip button for every time you don't need to do that anymore though :)
