Love the game. Question: Are all the sfx made using sounds one would make with their mouth, or did you use a sfx program?

i liked the game alot, but i dont like the zoom in the chest rooms or the "hooray!" right after you get an item like the backwards crossbow or the map or the fairy's or speed boost tho

ok so I enjoyed the game (especially the 'hurray' and other nonsensical sounds) but why is this a roguelike? and if so why isn't there a way to trade items you don't need?
really my first attempt I had 5 pink fairies by the 2nd boss (which killed me..big shock when I do virtually no damage and can only heal after battle) 2nd (now normal mode since hell is locked) starting midway through the 3rd level nothing mattered, I swept side to side map after map and was all but untouchable and combine with my apparently all but nonexistent hitbox i all but stood up to the final boss and rammed the crossbow into him..because why not unless I am hit directly on my entire body I can't be touched
the difficulty has less to do with what difficulty setting and more with the random drops (which again a roguelike is one thing but it is just silly here, there aren't different builds or strategies. even if i heal 4 hearts at the end of each battle I don't strategize around getting hit)

Fun. The zoom is unnecessary during combat. Also, you can't see yourself, enemies or most important bullets when they're riding the bottom wall. I'm all for challenging but these two things are pretty unfair. I'm ok with the intermittent rear crossbow. It should be unreliable since the description says it's a forward shooter, not a rear shooter. 3 thumbs up if I had more than 2 thumbs. Could be longer. Additional upgrades and special items would add some nice flavor. If it's going to be roguelike, the game should be more challenging but give you an improvement to carry over into the next run. (Like additional heart containers or faster pew pew pew for example)

Liked the game, but hell mode was kinda easy. Do you think you can add another mode where the enemies deal 3x damage or something?

When the tombstone showed up on the screen, I tried to restart the game. Now when the game loads, you can only see the tombstone.
Overall, though, this is a good game. I like how the ads are done in this game.

@Snaks, if you can't manage your money then don't buy things. Also, you try to shoot a backwards crossbow while keeping a consistent fast firing speed with another. The shop is more than likely randomly generated, so if you're going to complain about the amount of doors vs keys, don't buy the keys. Your fifth point is an opinion, I was able to avoid almost every homing attack.

You shouldn't be able to purchase a health restore if you have full health. I thought I was buying a max health upgrade :(

A few problems with the game: 1. Backward arrows shoot sporadically; this doesn't change with several unlocked back arrow upgrades either, but they are guaranteed not to shoot when you need them to or when you are close to the upper wall. 2. You can purchase hearts at full health losing money. 3. There are more keys than doors. 4. Shot speed upgrades seem to stop affecting forward arrows after 4th upgrade and doesn't seem to affect backwards arrows at all. 5. Camera focus prevents you from seeing or evading homing attacks and mobs. 6. Entrance gate door sides are blocking when you strafe with your back against the wall. 7. Some upgrades seem to drop even if they dropped already and thus, they have no effect.
Still very entertaining and challenging. With polish it will be a real great.

I don't like how random everything is. I've played 5 times and the rewards are different every time. Shooting backwards is cool, but when you open a chest and get the same thing you already have with no upgrade it's frustrating.

Walkthrough: Get all upgrades and go raw face, don't care about taking dmg since you kill all bosses before they kill you. Happy ending.

There's some very noticeable lag when a ranged enemy gets line of site on the player. There's also noticeable input lag when you first enter a room and after you pick up a chest. The backwards crossbow will sometimes fire slower, or not at all - more seems to be worse when near the top wall. Bosses could do with a life bar, but not essential. The player's hitbox could do with an icon (the clover makes it smaller, but by how much?). The zooming is really annoying, especially with ranged enemies. It's a decent start, but all these issues means the game definitely needs polish to be a good game.

It's really annoying that there appears to be no visual representation of where the hitbox ends. Also, why are you using wasd and arrow keys instead of the mouse to control the character in a bullet infested game? Other than that, though, great game!

nice game. just some observation..in some map e.g. with blocks arranged like ᴧᴧ, arrow can actually shoot through wall

Thank you for the "begin game muted" button, and I would appreciate it much more if the "3, 2, 1" part of the logo sound would not pop up before I can click that lovely "begin game muted" button.

I like that you're trying a different gameplay mechanic, but it sort of seems half-baked. Being only able to shoot in one direction is an annoyance that never really bears any fruit in terms of clever game design that incorporates the mechanic. It makes you problem-solve to get around it, but not in way that feels rewarding.
And I'd echo others' criticism of the zoom/pan "feature". It's annoying to at times be able to see the whole room and others not to. Especially with the way features like pillars are being depicted, you can't always see an enemy that might be right below you, in your path of travel.

so, let me get this straight - every single time I die in a roguelite (which is gonna be pretty often, let's be honest) I have to go through a death screen that feels like it takes a full minute, and then go through the title screen and intro sequence again? Why? What possible reason for that decision was there?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm getting a TON of lag. Using 30 FR and SD effects, still lots of lag. Worse when outside & lighting flashes, but still plenty indoors.

Great game idea, but 2 ez. Tons of heals and invincibility, pls rework this and make this a challenge, not a only casual easy game to beat
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i played both normal and hell mode and the only difference i noticed was that on normal you get way more shields. is there something else?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Honestly; too many invincibility frames. You can just facetank everything without ever dodging because you take one heart of damage and become invincible for ten seconds afterward.
