That Heartrate/Jumpscare update is extremely annoying. I don't know if this is a glitch or if that's how it's supposed to be but the maxed out jumpscare keeps popping up every 20 seconds to me. I'm in the middle of playing and all of a sudden this face just pops up again and again. And it's not even scary... What's the point ?

I can understand where you were going with the satire here, but to accomplish it, you sacrificed the overall quality of the game. It became "Fill the ship designer with lasers until things die." No skill is really required in this game. Sorry, but this one is quite poor, as games go. 2/5, if only for the satire at the beginning.

you know what, it aint that bad....yeah its a bit short and everyone is complaining about Lightning rod being OP...if thats the case why dont you all try playing without it? Ill agree its not as good as its previous games but hey, a few updates and everyone is happy...nerf some stuff, buff some stuff, add a few extra bits...the ground defenses seem a little pointless, they dont seem to do much to enemies from my experience. But anyways, good game 4/5 thanks for helping kill some time.

I wanted to love it, but I can't, I can only like it. Too short, too easy are the obvious downsides, but it's more than that that is wrong with this game. It feels contrived, it feels put together like a bad movie sequel, like the developer didn't care enough about the product and just wanted another title to his portfolio.
It doesn't matter if it's triple A or free flash, a sequel has to continue the high level of quality or you turn people off. I'll await 4, but not as eagerly.

I think the idea to change things up a bit was good. Whitout the screen shaking, would be even better. Maybe for a sequel add even more upgrades/waves. Even if cosmetic ( like changing ship color/beam color ), you could make this with much more waves being incremental in hp. And yes, as many other comments, lighting rod should be tweaked to use MUCH more energy, forcing us to move around. Overall, still enjoyable but very short lived..4/5

I was so excited to see this because the first two are some of my all-time favorites... then I played it. Doesn't deserve the 'Upgrade Complete' title. So sad.

Something about the GUI is messed up and blocking the top and the bottom of the screen. I'm not playing a game like this.

If I were the dev of 1 and 2, I'd seriously be considering a lawsuit for besmirching the good name of the series. Or I'd start planning a REAL Upgrade Complete 3 and mock this one mercilessly.

oh. This is from the same guy who made the Destination Kepler game that begged you to watch ads, And NOT the guy who made Upgrade Complete 1 or 2

These comments probably sound like a broken record right now, but it just felt hollow compared to the first two. Still a good quick time killer, but the others did it better.

Very disappointing. Too short, takes about 9 minutes to beat. I hate not seeing the upgrades as I get them, since that is the point of the game. Have to close upgrade screen if you want to watch the evolution of anything on the playing field. A few Lightning Rods and the game beats itself. Again, shame on you. Could have been so much better.

Oh, I get it. It's supposed to be funny. "Isn't it hilarious the way we, the creators, have noticed things about games?"

Lol, that was awesome and very funny. Thanks! The screen panning was the only thing I would change--that zooming in and out was awkward and annoying. But I really enjoyed the game and it made me laugh out loud, so thanks! :)

I am finishing levels AFK and I've barely upgraded. Did you even get permission? I'd rather play the first one then this. Boo. It's bad. 2/5.
