Pretty good installment. Honestly wanted more than that after such a long wait, but it has everything the other games had! Needs upgradable sounds though.

predatory micro transactions ruining games is what Upgrade Complete 3 has you search for on Google in the middle of the game. Just sayin' so perhaps one day when you click that link in game, the first thing that comes up would be http://http://www.kongregate.com/games/the_exp/upgrade-complete-3

I know the boss is part of the upgrades menu but I'm disappointed nothing happens when you beat Wave 20. It just says "Wave Complete" and starts at Wave 20 again. It doesn't make sense you can't finish the "free" game. It's sending the wrong message....

Tip For Someone Scared of Scary Faces Jumping In your face at your screen:Upgrade Heart rate VERY VERY Last so you wont get jumpscared and if you want to finish the game.Turn down your volume to 0 and upgrade it to the last one and press beat the game and move your mouse to the right side and move the mouse outside the game screen and scroll down and there you go! :)

I don't know why people dislike this game so much. I mean sure maybe it wasn't the best in the series, but it was still a good game. but what really drove it for me was that it's a wonderful piece of satire which uses game play to drive home a point. plus, i always love watching these games evolve.

Funny, even clever, yet to fans of the previous iterations it will seem contrived and a tad pedantic. This game still rates a solid 4 stars; it could be viewed as a call to arms regarding a pressing social issue.

I adore this series, but this one just seemed odd and out of place because 1. it's a completely different game. It went from a pure, amazing, fantastic shooter to more of a defense game. 2. You got a taste of the end game look at the start of the game. It just... Ehh. 3. WHERE DID THE DOOD FROM 1 AND 2 GO? He was amazing. Instead, we got this weird scientist person. Overall a great game, but because of the other 2 games to live up to, I'll give it a 3/5.

Compared to Upgrade Complete! 1 & 2... This felt pretty bad. There wasn't anything new, it became a game of grab the heart, and overall felt bland. Maybe when there's an Upgrade Complete ! 4TheWin it'll be better.

Eh, that was decent. My strategy of focusing entirely on the battleship and repeating the final wave a couple times makes it way too easy. xD
Still fun though! Good job.

You never need anything but lightning and coin collectors, and you only need 3 or 4 coin collectors max. Dont bother with the gfx upgrades until last.

Some issues with the image on the screen, portraying the edges off of where they should be. Really diminishes the quality

This is kind of a minor thing, but seeing the full upgrades at the beginning of the game made me less invested in completing the game, since I knew what the end result would look like

heartrate upgrade isn't all that scary until the 3rd one doesn't do anything for a while... but even then it wasn't as scary as the previous one and especially not without the audio upgrade. too easy unoriginal cancer 2/5

I feel as the game could have had a lot more waves. More upgrades, too. Also, the camera panning was really annoying, just forcing you to fly up so you could see the whole screen every time.
I did really like the freemium jokes, and the ability to make ads less annoying. At least you got one social commentary in, though I would have loved more.

Okay I've upgraded all the graphics, when does it stop looking like a badly compressed .JPEG? Also disappearing drops, shame on you 1/5.

In my opinion this game is just a shade of what it could be. The gameplay and strategy is about 2/10, the uppdrages was nothing new from last game 4/10, chat logs+ending 7/10. If just the developer would have made a bigger effort trying to make the gameplay more innovative this could have been just as epic as the other ones.

By the end of the game you're basically flying around a giant gun.
Also, if the lightning gun was powerful in the previous games of the series, in this one it's just over powered. Simply load up on lightning guns, a few coin magnets and sit at the top of the screen until you need more hearts, grab some and repeat as necessary.
