while i may have disliked the game itself, i most certainly liked the point that the author of the game was trying to get across. pay to progress games aren't games, but thats all that is being made anymore which is quite sad

Just like everybody else, very disappointed. 2/5 There seems to be a trend that third game in all series is the worst.

Very excited to see another upgrade complete, but I have to agree with other comments, somewhat disappointed in the difficulty (too easy) - I finished in about 25 minutes, only completed wave 17. I love the humor, the poke at micropayments, etc, just wish there was more content / longer upgrade paths. Also, and this is important, some statistics? I have no idea how much damage a level 3 Blaster does compared to a level 1 laser

all my life, i always knew i had some special instinct.... i found it.... i got the pointless upgrade first. also this is all over a bit of oil. like a pond of it. seriously!

take an original fun concept, then turn it into a lame, boring, childish commentary on something that we all already knew and had the same opinion on. Oh upgrade complete, how far you have fallen.

This was an alright game. There was no "wow" factor. For the most part, I just had to click on the upgrade buttons, wait a few seconds, and press the upgrade buttons. With the electric rod thing, it was impossible to lose. With no sense of urgency, and no real consequences for not playing well. This game didn't do well. I finished in almost 15 mins and only went to Wave 16.

The battle screen needs to be fixed as in locked in place. The zooming out/in is silly. I thought you would be able to upgrade it so you could see the whole spawn zone. Maybe add a sensor add on to the ship or just fix it so you can see the whole area.

isawrawr, the weapons can overlap each other.
I just finished the game. Decent, but nothing special. Sorry, but it was not as enjoyable as the first two. The money bomb starting at like level 17 seemed a bit out of place too, and seemed to only serve the purpose of ending the game.

I got stuck in a laser on the left side of the playing screen and that was it for me. Couldn't move, get hearts, GAME OFVER...

It took way too long for this to finally make its way to Kongregate, but now that it's here, I don't feel like it took long enough. Relies heavily on rehashing the same basic gimmick as the previous two games, but exchanges the game component for something much more tedious. And the plot is just... Okay, I get what you're saying, but ironic crap-posting is still crap-posting, guys. So I'm going to go ahead and give this a 2/5. I typically reserve 1/5s for games that are nonfunctional, since there's no 0/5 option, so that's basically as low as I can give.

Gotta agree with most of the other commentors- tried too hard to be cute/funny, and didn't pay enough attention to balance or game play. I really liked UC1 and 2, but this was a bit of a let down. Awful? No. Replayable? Nope, not really... and mixing in politics there at the end was sorta pointless. 2/5

Very disappointing compared to upgrade complete 1 and 2. This one had practically nothing new except for field of gameplay which wasn't even that good like the scrolling wasn't nice and the collection of hearts sucked. I would have liked to at least see the whole field to know where there are hearts. But I did like the easyness of the game, it was simple and relaxing

@densch there is no absolute right or wrong about pay-to-win, but most people prefer winning without paying as reflected in all the free games here. Obama is certainly a dick.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I somehow think that this is mostly a parody of many different things.
Be it the pay-to-win thing, that certain guy in the end scene which is presented as a nice guy but actually is the greatest dick I know, etc.
So I guess this is mostly a porady of many things that are not right in our world.

loved 1 and 2, but this version is just crap. First the unskippable "FTOE" and then gameplay. One really needs to see the whole screen. 1 Star, never play it again. Because of the first two games the devs have potential, but this game does not show it. Or anything.

@jhett123 all the video games that really reflect real-life-level difficulty are failures. people clearly prefer easy winning.

not sure what the message people are referring to, with so little details given. probably the message is "even obama needs an auto money sucking machine, so do you?"

I didn't have to play the game until your anti-idle system made me?
As a game? 1/5? You don't do anything
Buy a lightning rod, and buy a coin magnet, and its an idle game that goes for 10 minutes

i will say it is not from the same guy.
several reasons.
1) the game's actual name is "upgrade complete 3mium" but the name that was uploaded is without the words "mium".
2) the kong account created and tony from armorgames account created differs too greatly.
tony from armorgames account created from 15th november 2007 while the_exp kong account is created on 18th jan 2014.
with this kind of a huge difference, you can't say both are the same person.
people can claim they are this person or that person but in truth it is not.
3) the _exp age is not the actual age since people can fake their age when they create their kongregate account. (if not why got so many alt kongregate accounts that belongs to the same person though the age on each alt kong account is different)

I enjoyed the game, though it did feel rather lackluster and could have had a lot more things done.
Still, good game, just maybe not great but not as bad as everyone says it is.
