I really dislike how you get to see what everything looks like already upgraded at the beginning. Part of the fun for me of the earlier entries was seeing how things changed as you bought upgrades. Now I already know what everything will look like at the end of the game.

The game itself is lacking, and isn't as good as Upgrade Complete 1&2, but the Freemium satire is glorious. If the gameplay wasn't as bad as it is, this would be a 5. But sadly, it is bad. I give it a 3.5/5.

I thought in the end I would get to meet the president of the video game company, but that never happened. Thanks, Obama!

worst one of the 3 games I liked 1 and 2 WAAAAAY more this game is more the "usual drone game", the previews games were more, "the upgrade game but there is a drone game in it"
the drone game wasn't the point in the preview 2 games either.. it's kind of a let down from the other 2 games.. sorry.. 3/5

I saw this, got excited and then read the comments... Well that hype was short lived... and for good reason. Horrible idea to change the game to defense game. Some things in a game series just shouldn't be changed.

Games are taking a downfall lately, First Strike Force Heroes 3 and now Upgrade Complete 3 is turning out to be lower-than-expected in terms of quality, let's hope Half-Life 3 isn't on the same track.

You can beat the entire game with max level lightning rods. In fact it kills the end boss so quickly I didn't use any towers. I have the maximum 66 lightning rods. Every version of this game has its charms but my favorite is still the first one :) Maybe make it a little longer and more thoughtful next time ;) I appreciated the unique story line. I did not though favor being shown what the full upgrades looked like, I wanted there to be some mystery

It's such a shame that you cannot even collect hearts... am I missing something? Clicking doesn't work, enter, space, arrow keys, numbers, shooting them with lazers and normal gun. Oh well, I just switched between normal wave and boss to get farm coins because there's no way to collect hearts. By the way, good game! (sarcasm) 1/5

Somewhere along the game they decide that your weapons need to run out of ammo health. Now, it says to replenish ammo health by collecting hearts. There is one hear that SOMETIMES appeared on the screen, but even when it did I was never able to click it, so I have 0 idea how to collect the damn hearts. I was stuck at 15/20, but oh, thank goodness progress has nothing to do with beating the game.

Meh. Good ending, which made up for a lot. Over-all, though, it just seemed like more of the same. I liked the 'ads' idea, but like most of the concepts in the game, it just wasn't fleshed out enough. The gameplay itself seemed ignored, which was disappointing.

So, my ship was just a bunch of weapons floating around. There should be upgrades to the ship body as well. There should be more interesting upgrades in general. This is significantly worse than the previous games.

This game was awesome. I know it was short, and quite easy, but too often, game developers get caught up in making games that are nigh impossible. I'll remember this game because of it's charms. I loved the theme; freemium games are getting so wearily common. I enjoyed the comedy, a mix of subtle and satirical, which kept me laughing til the end. Not to mention the action, which was fresh enough to be interesting, yet grounded in the design set by the first two games. I see a lot of negative comments, but a game that I can actually finish without it dragging on forever, and that keeps a smile on my face the whole way through, is A-ok in my book. In short, I'll remember this game, and I'll be happy that I do.

Well, yes fast easy and fun. But if you go off the beginning I will take it as a great tribute to the current run of horrible P2W games. You gave me an hour of fun. Thank you.
