This tutorial guy literally just robbed me of a lot of gameplay! He upgraded everything for me when I wanted to do it myself!

Having intentionally bad elements, (fake ads, jump scares, unskippable text) doesn't necessarily make for a witty game. In this case they just serve to be annoying.

Quick, easy and fun. Nothing particularly wrong with the game, but nothing all that innovative either. A solid 4 stars.
Some more upgrades and a little more depth would take it to a perfect 5 out of 7.

I'm disappointed that whatever the specific problem is that creates two "columns" of background graphics on the left and right of the screen which cover up part of the image is still unchanged. Many people commented on the issue when the game first went up on Armor Games (over a year ago).

As soon as I saw this game, I donated my soul to it.
Aftermath:
Boy oh boy, I sure do love bein' souless. It's great. I love wakin' up every mornin' and not feelin' a gosh darn thing. It's a real jolly experience and I enjoy experiencing it all the time. There's nothing I'd rather experience than having no soul so I don't have to feel anything, because not feeling anything is great and I love it. I sure have a great time being a god damn flower. I didn't fuqin' choose this. Kill me.

Way too short, I was able to finish the game on level 18, and the previous games were a lot better than this one. This actually made me want to go back and play the old ones and I did after beating this one.
Hahahaha "long and hard" hahahaha

The balance is way out of whack. Making a weapon type that requires no player input at all sufficient to complete the entire game from start to finish(well, and a few magnets) is just not good design. I haven't tried the other weapons, but what's the point when I can just stack lightning rods and do nothing until wave 14 and half-afk afterwards? In any case, the upgrades are just... disappointing. The previous part had a LOT more upgrades(like, 6 times more?) and they were way more diverse that what this part has, not to mention it was way longer than half an hour. Although this can count as a jab towards the free-to-play market, as a genuine game, it really grinds the series into dust. 1/5 on this one.

99999 -> 00001 (that's what happens when you get to 100 000 coins)
00002 for 200 000 coins... and so on :D
just if people were wondering, and yes i went to 200 000 coins just to check if it was really like that xD good luck getting 9 999 999 999 coins (which will show up as 99999 to see if 10 000 000 000 shows up as 00001 xD

This game should have been its own animal, not another chapter in the Upgrade Complete series. 1 and 2 were much better.

YES! the 3rd installment is finally here!! (i honestly thought you were done.) It needs some more work, as others have stated, but still gets a 4/5 for me. Looking forward to potential updates.

I'm dissapointed "ad annoyance" didn't increase the ad's annoyance. For example, upgrade one could be an ad for a cheap Minecrap clone, 2 could be an ad for a freemium game, and 3 could be one of those stupid "Male gamers only, warning you won't leave your room ever" scantily clad lady game ads.

My loadout reminds me of a comment in Elephant Quest:"By the end of this game i had enough lasers for two raves and a Star Wars movie".

How dare you take a once simply awesome game series and turn it into your "agenda" against "Freemium" games. This completely blew it for me. i do not personally pay to play, but i know people that do, and they are just as happy with their gaming life as i am. on top of that, you made the game last about 5 min, i suggest some serious updates that extend the life of this game and some value tweaking on enemies and your ship/upgrades to make it more challenging, and maybe make the upgrade process more interactive... you just got so much wrong... hope they delete this one and call it something more realistic like "easy upgrade complete for 5 year olds"

I am not sure why people are complaining....
It's a great game. maybe not as memorable as the first but thats because it was the first. I enjoyed the "story" aspect of it. I am glad they switched a bit from over head ship shooter game cause another one just like that would have gotten boring. Honestly i think they should do even more in different concepts. A racing one , an RPG style one, etc.
-Those who are complaining about the ads obviously didnt know how the game worked cause that was one of the first things i upgraded and i only had 1 (which was the point of having them anyways) .
And not sure with people being annoyed over the lack of "innovation" over an upgrade game... you upgraded stuff. no it didnt do it exactly like the first one but this isnt the first one. I enjoyed it.

On the up side, I do enjoy the introduction to the game, and the heartbeat upgrade once again. The change in gameplay was a nice change of pace, but made it a bit too easy to beat. Overall, it was a decent addition to the series in my opinion.

I enjoyed the game, but I do agree that the 3rd game of the series does feel like the weakest. Generally easier game (a defense game with only one weak point versus defending an entire side of the screen), the base weapons are strong enough to last you up to wave 7 and generate quite a lot of cash, despite the higher costs for upgrades (it feels higher than the others) the gain from each wave is generally much higher, defeating the purpose of higher costs. Having towers that can help defend speeds up the game even further. Once I finished wave 20, I had more than enough to buy everything and almost have the maximum number of turrets (all of which were laser turrets) at at least level 3. Investing in 4 max level coin magnet turrets will allow for maximum gain from coins, reducing the need of the speed upgrade turrets. The final boss is more or less whether or not you've collected enough cash to maximize your damage output, which in general would be yes once you unlock him.

Liked it, but too easy and too short ... after half a doen or or shock guns and a couple of magnets, everything dies before they can come onto your screen. Whole game only takes about 15mins to finish.

Where do I even start with this? Is the joke supposed to be about games that are just ridiculous cash-grabs with zero actual effort put in? Because that is genuinely what this feels like. So many things that could have gotten upgrades did not, the paradigm shift means that there's less ship parts, and on top of all this, it's absolutely stupidly easy. 2/5 only because it is technically a functional game.
Also, lightning rods are incredibly OP. You stack a few of those on your ship, you never need to aim your weapons again. That alone warrants a bad rating, when one class of weapon is clearly superior even to others that cost the same.
The thing that irks me most, though, is that in the first couple UC games, you could at least make your overall ship look decent. But because of the sideways viewpoint and the fact that the dang ship doesn't flip around when travelling the opposite direction, it's impossible to make your ship look like anything but a flying hunk of junk.
