Great game, but it can get pretty straining on the eyes after a while. Also, in endless mode, I lost my last life to what seemed to be a random suicide. It was on the pattern where he drops down... he wasnt on screen and I kablammoed.
Still, freaking awesome fun.

Beautifully executed yet simple. Continuous variation makes every new boss new. Sometimes the change is totally unexpected, I die. Great game. 5/5

Simple and Fun. Whether you want to beat the game for kicks on easy or prove your the greatest by surviving infinite waves in endless mode this has it all. Catchy music and simple stylish graphics. 5/5

Great game! Had a problem where when I'm down to one life the boss disappears and im shooting at where he's suppose to be.

Yes! It seems I was able to get second on Endless Mode only being under the creator of the game himself. Its too bad my this old computer of mine can't seem to play this game without occasionally lagging when the screen fills up. Overall, I found this game to be a good use of an hour. 4.5/5

Okay, now that I played through a second time, I'd would DEFINITELY suggest shrinking the crosshairs and stopping them from pulsating like that. They draw a lot of attention

Very entertaining, I like the new take on the traditional bullet hell genre, I also like the little extra the creator put in by having the boss's skin move in from the impact when you hit him. great job! 4/5

I honestly really enjoyed this game but for a couple of things: Movement's a little sluggish for a bullet hell shooter, it's incredibly hard to dodge some of the all-directions type waves if you don't have the finely-honed reflexes of bullet hell veterans. Also, the black-and-white color scheme made it really hard for me to follow what was going on sometimes, particularly with the damn crosshairs in the way. I'd suggest making them smaller or somehow less conspicuous on screen. Lots of fun, though, and a lot of cool ideas in a subgenre that doesn't necessarily get a lot of innovation

There needs to be a way to change quality mid game. I was fine at first, but once there were a lot of bullets, it got really bad.

@LibertyPrime The game is specifically designed to avoid cheap shots. If you've already got a lot of skill in bullet hell type games, this won't be hard to beat. Keep in mind, though, that 4th highest in any category right now isn't all that high. Even my scores are far from perfect. If you want more challenge, go for the shiny rating in hard and endless. I was too lazy to get them =P

Like the idea and hope for a sequel, with maybe more bosses and different scenarios such as having a sword, using magic, or maybe having no weapon and having to make the boss hit himself. 5/5

Obviously one of the best games I've played on Kongregate. I was suprised at how good the graphics could get with a black and white kind of game. The shooter is fantastic, allowing the player virtually limitless firepower, and the powerups seem to come at just the right time. I really do with that bosses in video games were all like this...

Like bob said, this appears to be an issue related with IE. I'm going to see if there's a way to fix this issue for IE, but in the mean time firefox or google chrome should work.

Internet explorer on a windows vista. Im not sure about the flash player... but just shout me when you need to because i really want to play this game. I have always wanted to replay boss battles, which is why i still play "Shadow of the Colossus!"

I have the same problem as pyroarc, when the main menu loads, I try clicking the buttons and nothing happens. They just kind of move around...
