For level seven, the physics in this game are really poor (which is reasonable), if you cut a very small slice on the bottom of a piece, it will cause a weird effect where the pieces bounce around slightly. If you do it right, you can get 100% on two slice this way.

You can 2 slice level 7 without dragging the cut off screen. Cut the white block and the left red block at the same time.

does anyone know if the 2-slice badge can be obtained without getting over 50% on the 7th level? i want to know if there's any point in trying for it since i can't cut through the left red block

I have the same problem as Azula123. Level 7 won't let me click above the left block or drag the line there, and it's stopping me from getting the hard badge.

Level 7 still suffers from not letting us click above the top left red square due to game area being too small. :( I am 5% off the hard badge so it would be so helpful if this got fixed.

All righty, feel like I've maxed out my scores pretty good now. 3 slices score, 1968%, 2nd place weekly. 2 slices, 1954%, 2nd place weekly. Only levels 3,4,8 not 100%. My biggest secret trick: The Splinter Undercut, on any block cut it with a super thin cut on the bottom. The block will shake and move. Use da physics wisely :)

Hard badge tip for level 7: press F12 for browsers dev tools, search for "gamediv" and change the value of width to 80% (instead of 100%)

For people with problems on level 7: even with 45% on that level you can still manage to get the hard badge on 2-slice mode

@FrozenStalker You're right I played the game again a couple of days ago to get the medium badge too. They changed the BotD to easy in between. it doesn't really matter though, i had fun trying to optimize earlier levels to get those missing %.

For anyone struggling to get the Hard badge, it's possible to score a decent amount higher than 87% on Level 2 by cutting a low slice across all three of the blocks on the base going down from left to right, then re-cutting the leftmost block in half so that the top part of that block crashes into the red block. If you do your initial cut low enough, you'll be able to score over 90% on that level.

wth...just trying to get medium badge...can't even unlock 2 slice mode. stuck at 1892...and the official walkthrough by the dev scores way worse than I do on every level.

this hard badge should be in a special category as "Very Hard Badge" and award 40 points or something ... My previous self quit at 1850% , my present self quits at 1822% .

It's almost impossible to earn hard badge, when you can't cut above left red square in lvl7. I just earned hard badge with only 46% on lvl7, but tried to max out all other levels. Please fix lvl 7!!!

Seriously, Kongregate, fix your badges, this isn't a "Hard" badge, this deserves to be an "Impossible" badge purely for the precision required.

Oh no! I have 1873! Only 2 left! I got 100% in level 14. This guy shows you what to do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_9yEufqnwo. You need to be really precise though. 1875% is too high. No way I'd get this without tutorials. The official walkthrough is pretty bad and doesn't help you get the hard badge.

The hard badge is REALLY hard. Even with gold on all levels (which I don't even have), it's not enough to get 1875%. It's just 25% short of what you need with a whole extra slice for the medium badge. (I got 1932% with 3 slices)

The walkthrough is not enough to get the hard badge. Sometimes he's brilliant and sometimes makes bad decisions. Also it's made for 3 slice mode instead of 2 slice mode, so you have to make very different decisions sometimes.
In level 2 he gets 75% with 3 slices while I got 86% in 1 slice. 1% less than gold in 2 slice mode.

Hard badge is basically pixel perfect luck. Half of the levels I've done 100% on took well over 20 minutes while just doing the same thing at least 300 times and always getting different results. 3/5
