I've been waiting for months to enjoy this beatiful game here. Thanks to The Game Kitchen for mixing in a masterpiece Lovecraft and Indiana Jones. Thanks.

Ughh....I'm just..I'm really, really over this series. It's like eating pancakes every day..at first it's great, but after awhile it's just like "enough I'm sick of the same thing".

Forget a Veil of truth and lies, I was actually sort of wishing for the Angels to start moving. (For those not in the know, just watch the episode "Blink" of Doctor Who [It's episode 10 of the third series]. Don't worry, non-geeks or non-fans, it has virtually zero science fiction in it, but it is guaranteed to scare the crap out of anyone watching. And then you'll know why I was disappointed.)

So basically they're trying to go past the Veil that seperates truth from lies to somehow find the truth. But if they go past the Veil, they won't know the truth from lies. So how will they know if the Truth beyond the Veil of truth and lies is the truth or a lie that looks like the truth?... I may have overthought this.

Absolutely brilliant. So simple yet so terrifying, at certain parts I was clicking while using my other hand to shield my eyes and peek between my fingers

"This and no other is the function of the serum we manufactured at the boarding school when we were young. It is something that we didn't understand by that time: to accompany the mind to the proscenium of the big theater, and there, help us look behind the curtain that separates the world of men from the land of truth." So, they were making DMT?

I love the retro looking games, it make me feel like I could make one (because I'm a terrible artist but a good programmer). Also I prefer to read the sounds and wish there was a mute (because I'm always listening to something else). I'm sure they'll add a completion badge after a little while.

I'm sure I'm going to get lots of down-votes, but this series has lost its interest for me. Not that scary, not an engaging plot line, very few puzzles, "retro" is only cute for the first few minutes then you just want your freakin' guy to move more than one room every hour. Overall I think there are much better scary point and click games to which this one doesn't hold a candle (e.g., anything by Psionic).

still not convinced about the graphical style but A1* for the storyline and challenge level. Very nicely done game series and looking forward to the next part

Dang, I out of red stuff. Oh! lucky, a deer ripped to half from the abdomen. Now light bulb can be red. Thanks, bloodthirsty monster out there.

Great game, atmosphere is good and plays quite well, however there was a problem I had with the cuckoo bird being removed from my inventory, but not actually placed in the clock. Also, the key when examined turned out to be a broken blade..

Bug: if you click to unlock the cellar with the key, and then immediately click again while its opening, you freeze crouched by the cellar.

I must say, I think I may have lost a few years of my life. Or maybe I just really need to not go and cry out why so many times.

Can't use acid in the well preserved lock. Can use acide in old corroded lock. Because my main concern when dealing with sinister mysteries from the underworld is the possibility of reusing a lock in the future. Our hero is an environmentalist!

The ending of this story was epic. It was the best cliffhanger in Kong history. Besides, also add badges to this already AWESOME game!

I find a crazy man in a deep pit…Am I asking him to inject this unknown substance into me? The substance that is *known* to cause horrific things? *WELL, OF COURSE!*

Absolutely love the series, but this time I can only give 4/5:
a) It's obvious you have to open the chest on the 1st floor, but I couldn't at first, because the "hitbox" was too small and I noticed the possibility to just open it right there after I went searching for a key.
b) After digging out the skeleton, the game didn't trigger Alexandre's scream upon leaving the yard. I left going up (to the house's front door) and not inside the kitchen. Again, hitbox too small.
c) The game wouldn't let me put the envelope on the basin. There's only a tiny spot where you can do that. Again, hitbox too small.
All these things made me run around like crazy looking for other items and things to do. Turned out to be quite frustrating.

This was an absolutely beautiful end to the first season, and I absolutely can't wait for more. The storytelling is so chilling and suspenseful and it always leaves you craving more, craving answers. It's developing so strongly. Kudos, I'm so excited for the next episode. (By the way, the whole season/episode thing is fitting; this has such a cinematic feel that it's fair to compare it to a show or something similar. Love it.)

Three chapters is great, four is fine, but five and possibly more? No. The room with angels isn't nearly half as terrifying as the room filled with crows. To me, the suspense has died. It's time for a new title with a new story.

This finale was... disapointing. I loved the other three, but this one was laggy and unintuitive. "Oh, my friend got taken out the window! Better check the cellar."

This one made me more nervous than the last two (2&3) the first one was great with the crows and such. I cannot wait for season 2. I wonder when this series will end, and when it does I'll be sad of course and hope there will be another awesome series that builds up suspense like this one did/does.
