can i get killed by the crows that is eating the crow and/or get killed by burning the barricades that leads to the doorway to the dead girl?

the fact this is a more atmospheric horror game, and that its point and click are probably the only two things that stopped me from going "NOPE im out" at the creepy intro with the crows... It is a very fun game though, 5/5 and faved, very intriguing story that gives the game a mystery feel. as for some peoples complaints that some actions(like chasing the cat) aren't entirely explained, isn't really a problem to me. I just read every note, thing "what can I do", instead of "why should I?" and then BAM progress. neat game overall, can't wait for other chapters!

If I was actually in the game, I would either say "NOPE", and leave my friend to die or I would curl up in a ball when the crows came inside and start to cry and suck my thumb telling my self "its all a dream, your stressed and tired so you are seeing things..."

"I may have found a dead woman upstairs and my brother has clearly gone mad, but I sure don't want to make a mess with this freshly redone wall in the basement!"

Oh wow this is cool! I can't wait for chapter two! This is definitely a good horror game. I didn't like how slow you moved but in the end it really just got me more into it so it was a plus to the negative. I love the story line that is being developed. 5/5 for me on this first chapter in a engaging horror game. Please hurry with the second chapter as fast as you can! :)

I've been keeping an eye on this game since the demo came out, and this first chapter did not disappoint. I prefer more atmosphere in my horror than anything else, and The Last Door has atmosphere in spades.
I greatly look forward to the next chapter, and seeing what you have in store! Also, thanks for validating my firm conviction that crows are #@&!@#$ scary.

The "primitive" pixilated art style is deceptive, as this manages to be one of the creepier games I've played. Impatiently awaiting Chapter 2!

While I enjoyed this game tremendously, there are certain silly things that pop into my head one day after finishing it. For instance, why does a hairpin work to open a stuck door but a crowbar doesn't? And who keeps a knife walled off in the cellar but not in the kitchen drawers? This doesn't necessarily make for a bad game, just an odd one.

Wow. The day after my little brother killed himself this game is uploaded to kong. Never had a game that I emotionally couldn't complete briefly

I really would fund this game if I could, but... I can't. I will try to spread knowledge of the game to my friends, if possible!

It says on their website, chapter two will be available to play in september 2013 and chapter 3 in November. However, they need donations to continue making these chapters. .-. I'd support them if I had money. Here's their website http://thelastdoor.com/index.php/

To be honest, I think my heart skipped a beat when I walked into the room filled with crows, I wasn't expecting that at all, just plain scary.
