There are 3 ways to get crowns 1. support the game through in game purchases 2. Win contest that grand has sponsored 3. Upload youtube videos or contribute to the game (note that this method is iffy because usually the reward for these is contribution)

Assuming @zlefin is truthful of having 10k blood, he probably just played daily challenges for about 2 years without changing his deck for PvP. I mean, not even considering lootboxes and other rewards, the free daily challenges would give 10k blood in two years.

I'm still hoping the next update includes some features for more mass buy. I have 10k blood to spend; and a ridiculous number of units in need of upgrading, at lesat 40 unit types I have 70+ of; it's just too tedious to do all the clicking for them, so I'd like some way to just get it all done with one click.

@Username_taken12 you're certainly right poison mage and wizard are bad, but they're also one of the easiest pieces to learn/use when starting out, especially against the AI (which is the main opponent until you get past 1800ish rating.

First: I rate this game 10/10 for PERFECT game balance. I think wizard, poisonmage, dryad, and necromancer are slightly undervalued/OP, but only by a half-point (and they all have obvious weaknesses anyways).
Game tip summary for starters:
Easy pieces to use against AI are: bomber,snake, spearman,axeman,pawn,sylph,militia,princess, poisonmage,rook,dryad,paladin,necromancer, airElemental,queen,bishop. AI is especially bad against poison,bombers, sylph/airElemental,princess. Unlock Daily Challenges ASAP because it's main way to get coins/gems. As a general rule, higher tier pieces are better for their value by half-point. Poisonmage4 is especially good, and a month of arcane chests easily unlocks it. AI is REALLY bad against bombers as of 2020nov11 so use it as anti-AI insurance policy in your deck if you hate the AI.Play at around 2am EST to avoid other players and fight botAI more. I farm bot AI for pts. at that time.

If you keep fighting hopliteRush, use a few bombers and pieces of various ranges (spearman+militia+axemen, for example).

@xWyvernxx can confirm, beacon+sylph+suicidesquad (militia, bomber, etc.) does beat hopliteRush. enchantress is optional.

@Darches same, got to master in less than a week. I did it before my first tier-upgraded piece, too (mostly by abusing poisonmage and bombers against the AI, and also because I mostly kept fighting AI). Now I actually struggle because I need to fight player opponents more often, so it might take me a few weeks to reach grandmaster.

Tier 1 pieces are cheap; the real problem is the morale difference in armies. However, if you're so low rank that your matches feel impossible then losing to grandmasters will cost you nothing, while winning will offer great gains. Try to make your army anti-meta. I did a long time ago and got to master rank in less than a week.

Most players (the ppl most frequently online) are grandmasters, so pvp just forces you with them. I'm like: bruh I barely have t1 pieces, stop bullying me w/ ur t3 greed and t3 fire elemental!

an unblockable move is the same as a teleport.
so paladin has teleport, swap and attack while chastity only has attack

chasity can't teleport or swap with an ally and costs significantly less. It is less flexible but the cheaper cost is significant.

I just won a daily challenge with 99% difficulty rating. I love when a game as in depth as this can actually make you feel that you're somewhat decent at it.

There's a Steam version! Just letting people know that even if flash tanks the game is playable there. Maybe Grand can make a code to transfer our progress there?
