Anyone having problems with the new starting wave update? I died on wave 46 or so, started over at wave 23 and died on the first 3 enemies. It was actually much harder than the wave I started at. Then I rez'd back to wave 5. . .
I'm really sorry to hear that. Looks like there is a annoying bug that cause it. Monsters from wave 46 keep coming after you resurrected. I'm working on it.

You need to teach him how to your that long bow he's holding. At present he's using it like a crossbow to make short, flat shots. Archers fie upwards, allowing the arrow to drop under gravity making an 'arch' than ends up pinning their target tot he floor. It also gives them a much longer range...

i'm not a fan of how the shooting takes a break between enemies it seems clunky perhaps this is because constant fire would be overpowered? if so you could preserve the balance by slightly increasing the enemies run speed also it sometimes shoots two arrows randomly that doesn't hit anything.

turns out i died and it was just sitting on the resurrect page for a long time

the game starts running slower and slower the longer you leave it open. it starts out smooth, then after maybe 30min-1hr, the animation becomes extremely choppy.

Aspects kind of suck, specifically the wind one (might get better later than where I am), the defensive perks are not very good cause if the enemies are hitting you then you aren't going much further. Early levels are slow, maybe combine all the enemies into one for the first 25% (based on highest or last run)?
Aspects are certainly weak at early levels, numbers will rise in the next updates. The next update is completely about waves. I'll increase starting wave depends on your last run.

Re.hkerekes idea of skip lower levels. maybe add an option to buy an upgrade to skip lower lvls, targeting speed and maybe other stuff. but 2 things to start aint bad. like qol upgrade menu

I really ought to wake up fully before commenting. My first comment should say you need to upgrade fire rate 200 times for double fire rate and the 2nd comment is irrelevant. I had the percentages for fire rate and range mixed up momentarily

EDIT: There actually does appear to be a mistake with fire rate upgrades tho. It says 5% but it's actually 0.5%. So either the upgrade is a typo or there is a decimal out of place iin your algorithm

I wish there was a way to idle this like auto hit the resurrection button after a minute. Or a fast forward button after being afk to make the monsters speed up. probably some tooltips to explain when the tec trees unlock

Couple of tips for those mathematically deficient. In regards to things like fire rate upgrades... it adds 0.05 ADDITIVE fire rate. That means it starts at 1.00 and goes up 0.05 each upgrade. This means you need to upgrade 20 times to double your fire rate... This is not going to be noticeable at first so please for the love of common sense look at your stats before you complain

crit chance early on is pathethic, i dont see how it will scale at all when it starts at zero and goes up very slowly
