Earned the hard badge in 5 days, 250k squad power.
6 hero squad: 4 archers and 3 tanks (1 archer tank). Vitality is king, melee damage is useless. Magic power only as much as needed. Tanks placed near archer tank, other side of the archers. And also very slow speed, 5 to 10% to prolong fight. Tanks with hp and melee AoE weapons (first fireball and later stun). Archers with max dmg items. Keep reroling fights especially to ensure high hp critters are set up at back and if possible high dmg critters are tageted by archers at start.

Ok i'm not sure if its true or anyone knows buts scaling on map mobs is based on max squad power as i use equip max gear and jumped 20mill power and now some mobs have 144337 hp luckily with no HP regain, not that i can kill it anyways.

@KeeperBvK Forest turtle can definitely be found in section #21-30 but it's probably very rare and therefore won't appear often. It looks like a tortoise with a forest on its shell.
Status affects the quality of the chests you win against human teams, which means better resources, which you need for crafting because crafting, on average, gives better equipment than raid chests.

The "hunt x of monster y" tasks are so stupid. First, you gotta know where to find said monster. I am supposed to kill raptors...well, what is a raptor in this game and where to find it. Gotta click on each raid and on the monsters and read their names... And then sometimes you gotta kill something that's just not there. I was looking for forest turtles, but even after changing all 30 forest raids, I had no luck.

Made the same mistake as everyone: Archer=Useless. Tank=Not tanky xD
+Stuck at wave 26 and you can't reset(yet). Guess restarting would be faster

So lame, you got unnecessary items in your inventory, you can not sell them, but you have to pay for it, to get rid of them... :(

This game crashes for me every couple of days and I have to start again. If I wasn't so stubborn I'd have given up by now. My question is this: If the game updates the progress of other players, why is my progress not being saved in real-time? Are the other players who attack me and create clans just a bunch of Bots?

Why do you have to click on every quest giver in your quest list to actually read the quest contents? Such an unnecessary waste of time.

Oh another tip is for map use change when there is a monsters with High health plus HP with health regain as they usually heal max and often, as you'll be stuck for a long time.

Also 7 characters fist then upgrade to 80 as needed while only upgrading the skills as need for new gear. then work for the 8th character.

@keeperbvk For me I only open chest when quests need them or inventory space is full, as you will always have them for quest. Only use the 25 green gems option as best for new gear, pass old gear down the line, only use resources on the gear that is best for class, Archers Magic shot, Orc bows. Mage, Staff with chance to stun. with 3 seconds or faster cast time and 2 sec or faster Stun time, Heal potions, Big heal potions. Melee is kinda useless. Armor is iffy as there is some good meta builds that could be had. Also with cast times and cast times is this u die FAST, so u want cast times around 3 seconds or faster, Chance% really doesn't master as you can have a 100% chance but if it takes 5 sec to attack and u die in 2 sec, so stick to fast cast times even if 40% chance.

F2p. 13 days played all 400 maps completed with 7 characters at 3.91m power. Top 80 in raids Pvp top 100, game is dead as I shot threw the ranks.

Ah I now know what the timer is for, as there is a chance both teams stop attacking and the timer runs out in a defeat.

Problems I see are. Your hero's just stop attacking half the match, some achievements don't work. Just started I will see if there's more but at this rate it might not be worth playing.

tavern quest (2hours to expire): build a building: temple (5 hours build time) speed up cost is insane and yes the building has to finish to complete quest. face palm.

Easy badge. In the description: "clear battle n11". In the checklist: "reach battle n11". So,which is it then? Is it that hard to avoid such easy mistakes?

With the equipment I was using I was at around 14M power. 8 members in the squad all at level 120. I reached 248 with around 700k and 7 members at level 100 and I got stuck there for a couple of weeks because I was particularly unlucky with a re-roll ( so careful with that). I think it's best to gain the 8th member before rank up members past level 100 ( I did the opposite and I think it was a mistake). I suspect 8 heroes at level 100 with the right equipment might be able to finish the raid. I used only ranged units which seemed to outperform any other combo in the raid. This is strictly true for the raid but you can get by in the arena too. By the end I had all weapons that target multiple enemies with stun or damage, I had a fireball one since the early stages and I suspect that helped quite a bit. Side note the type of weapon determines what power it can get when you reforge it, Like the orc bow is the only one that can get stun.

Dinictis - can you give us an indication of what kind of squad / power level you needed to clear the raid? I'm currently 7 people / 470k power and on stage 85. I just wonder what kind of power i need to expect to get close. Thanks.

So, I wasn't finished rambling but apparently commens are limited to 1000 characters.
The last things I wanted to add are that some aspect of the game aren't super clear, the fact you can get 100% chance of reforging by spending more gems for instance might be overlooked. Another aspect is what is the purpose of clans. Finally, since we are talking about clans expanding what they can do could be beneficial to the game play.

ok, I completed the raid as F2P a couple of days ago, I'll give you my 2 cents about the game. I think with some tweaks this could be actually good. Battles rely too much on getting lucky with rng. Pop ups are too intrusive. Equipment needs to be easier to manage (i may need to swap gear on a hero I need to have presets, the equip best doesn't cut it). Rewards need to be rebalanced. Higher raid level give way too much and arena gives too little. The game needs more content, something like a daily single player boss might be a good thing to add. Permanent pvp rankng might also be a good incentive to keep playing. A mechanic to improve equipment in a more intentional way, selecting the powers and keep improving them even after they have been reforged to purple. This hasn't to be easy, people that want to pay should be incentivised to do so but it should be possible to achieve (nearly) the same by spending more time on the game.

It seems that recently, the only comments I've been writing are: 'This is so bad..." It's quite sad. All these Raid Heroes games do not deserve any badge or spotlight.

My biggest complaint is that most of the equipment doesn't do nearly enough. I might eventually have a character who can tank dozens of shots, but that isn't looking likely any time before I give up on this game of boredom.

Looks like a boring game after the tutorial is finished so I can actually play the game. Handhold tutorials that railroad even my clicks is a solid 1 star.

Well i got to #400 as F2P... Nothing to do after that, Still yet to see an update. Either replay and farm previous levels or compete in the weekly pvp. Gets boring fast once you finish the "story" missions

completed the king's quest that has a blazon as a reward, but hadn't collected it. My browser crashed, and when i reloaded, the quest was gone.

Folks, can you please stop publishing stuff that is not ready for release? The guys that made that game should not be allowed to do any sort of programming, it's painful to watch when they say they got something ready. These are wannabe devs at most.

At this point, we ought to just report these completely unhinged cash grabbers that have zero actual content and balancing. I was sooo happy when I heard that Kongregate was "coming back", but when you see games like these get badges, you start to consider that maybe it should have stayed dead..

At least arbiterrex is listening to feedback, and stopped putting impossible badges on every game. A month ago, this would have an impossible badge for completing battle #400, and three more hard badges for other stuff.

oh god, 40% archer hit chance? on attack that is much slower than melee?
and my tank with all stats into HP dies in 1-2 hits?(enemies deal 2x damage far more often than my archer even hits)
whole game was designed to waste players time and force them to redo every level 10 times until RNG decides they had enough

So, you win battle #400 (which is basically the same as all the rest), and... nothing? No fanfare? No change in gameplay? (And no Dragon, per the game's namesake?)
Just your squad standing around wondering if it's worth it to just go back to re-grind the 400 battles endlessly? What's the point?
If, to quote the instructions, "The goal of the game is to gather the best squad of heroes to complete the storyline raid to the end..." then HAVE something at end of that raid storyline to celebrate the player's success!
