Ok, a major inconvenience: the near-randomness and chaos of hero selection. Why is my unlocked Hooded Girl in the middle of 10 heroes I haven't unlocked yet? It badly needs filtering/sorting options.

Without resorting to the semi-prestige function of "new raid" button, the 10% income compared to a victory makes progressing a punishment. Like others said, this desperately needs auto-raid, and either a change in the rewarding system or a choice to battle a lower difficulty location.

hi all overall not a bad game, bit of grind to get hero shards to level up, ok.
But it seems so random the drop of shards. i am on chapter 2 but took a while.
my main question is there a guide to the heros and skills, as they evolve you get random skills but no real indication that it fits the hero as it says warrior, mage etc but you do not know definitave that what your hero is
is a defender a warrior? etc dear developer are you going to publish a real guide to each hero there skills strengths etc you must know you developed them thanks

The "prestige" option New Raid isnt effective. You need to start a new raid multiple times just to get a slight increase in power because the cost of upgrading the artifacts scales much too fast. Lv 3 to lv 4 costs 512 while 4 to 5 is over 4000, and yet you get less than 200 for starting a new raid. At that rate you would need to start a new raid 20 times or more in order to upgrade them. And thanks to the cap on the heroes, you cant go further unless you get lucky enough to get enough cards to upgrade them.

After I started a new raid, town hall and market level and upgrade prices are the same as before, but the "Get" quantities got reset!

you can get a blazon from the free chest you get from the trader, so mght be worth it spending 5 or 20 crystals to get an extra chance or two of getting it.

And again for everyone of saying is this game is money grab. I play in this game 10 days, no spend even 1 kredits on it.
And now have top 10 in arena; 260m power of best team in arena; 13'500 crystals collected (from achievment mainly, but also from merchant some time he has very very good trade like 1K crystals for some gold); 500+ hero cards collected and 25 heroes with min. one rank up. And what is most important i spend a lot but only one thing ..... time. Daily i spend average 4 hours on game. So if you want great free game where you get everything you want at the start, then you can play on some singleplayer game and turn on cheates. If not just play and have fun.

How are there people in arena with a full team of level 60 heroes? thats like 5 evolutions and even raising units to level 20 costs a fortune.

Need 1 or 2 free refresh(s) a day for the arena. Having it cost 50 gems will only discourage new players. I'm super low ballin' it cause I really want 4-5 but the dev is charging an arm and a leg for a one day bonus (blazon) so I guess I need to ask for crumbs before the bread.

Need way to speed up fights to 2x, 4x and 8x, turn off music (without turning off sound), and play without needing to pay for Blazons.

Game is insanely P2W, it's fun until the Blazon expires, and then you grind to such a crawl you are forced to buy more to have any chance of progression.

Yep. Game is broken. Change tabs as soon as you start a fight, wait for the sounds to stop, and when you go back to the tab, you'll have won the fight with no health lost. I went into the arena with 3M power and beat someone with 21M+ without losing a single point of HP this way.

and lastly: you can either spend 300 kreds to buy the best blazon, or spend 50 to get 2.5k crystals AND the best blazon. Your math is so messed up that it's not even funny anymore. (just kidding, it is)

I just realized. This is the most finely balanced game ever! Do you know why? Because nobody in their right mind would buy anything with those prices!

thekastudio, want to bet with me, that you would get MORE money by dividing the blazon costs by ten, than what you get now? i mean, even 1 dollar is more than 0 :)

Few tips for you guys.
First most of hero shards you get from farmng raids. In one territory (10 levels) you can even get 5 hero shards. So no even think about buying hero shards for crystals. If you get stuck in raids then just start new raid and farm.
Second thing do not use portal. If you use portal you get gold and badge for daily, but not get any hero shards.
Third, I use portal (2-3 times) when merchant is appear, then spend 10 crystals to buy gold, and easy buy everything (or almost everything because common and rare hero shards is not worth for crystals) from him.
Last thing gold from castle is enough for few first chapter when you farming, but in future levels you get enough gold from missions. So bonus gold for castle from blazon you don't need.

@shedra, with the promotion they have now you can buy crystals, and also get a blazon (50 kreds for 2500 crystals and a red blazon). I will not be surprised if some people buy that.

@jenn16 , you will be able to beat the first act without paying (grind a while to get more cards for your heros and then you can beat the first act)

After i reading lots of comment, I must say this is not p2w game. Ofcourse blazon is terrible idea (even if price is 10 and is active for week), but who want blazon to play. Without this and without pay anything, and after week playing i have top15 and 23 heroes. Ofcourse you can buy premium pack or blazon, but premium is give this what you can get in 1 hour playing. And blazon probably noone buying, so noone have advantage.
And for now is for me 4/5

There's this weird glitch where if you change tabs for just the right amount of time you can win fights that would otherwise be impossible.

Sorry, enjoyed the game until I realize I would need to pay to advance. It's a shame because there hasn't been a game like this in a while which grabbed my attention. I spent 4 hours playing and working on getting all the castles. Now seeing this is a pay to get ahead game I have no desire to return. Thanks for the 4 hours but I don't see myself passing the first act without paying.

@revraptor8 you can get crystals from achievements, but yes it looks like you will have to buy them sooner or later or your progress will slow down a lot.

@thekastudio - I had chosen the assassin. Fight 1 went okay, Fight 2 was impossible. Responding so you can maybe figure out what the problem is, but I'm not going to bother playing again.
