So, for the first easy badge you should collect 100 coins in a single run? By the time I collected 100 coins in total, I had the other easy badge, one medium and one hard, and my coin count was still 27.

I just spent a bunch of coins on the "growth" upgrade and I have no idea what it does. I have not noticed any change in gameplay. I'm done here.

This series of games is, in my opinion, uninspired and derivative. All are based around very simple mechanics, often a reskin of currently popular phone apps. It feels like this, as well as the other games (Please Don't Eat me and This is How we Roll) are filler, and there's no heart or passion behind them.

So, there's no actual end ? I've got a few upgrades and I can't seem to be able to die. (Gave up after 35min run, and all badges done)

A few requests:
1. include some explanation of what the upgrades do. Some of them are self explanatory (e.g. move speed, amount, cool down), but I don't know what the rest do. Also, having some statistics of what our character looks like to start would help with deciding which of the upgrades to get.
2. Have separate mute buttons for sound effects and music. I want to listen to the music, but I find the various sound effects distracting.
3. have monsters drop coins occasionally. The frustrating thing is that running in a straight line from the starting position is a good strategy not just because it maximizes level ups per effort, but also because it maximizes coin generation.
4. Have some sort of attraction of things to the player. It is really frustrating to miss a power up because it was just outside where you pick things up. At least have some indication of how close you have to be to pick things up.

@between333 you know, the day that this game came out, I played for 7 hours straight and was still raring to go. just because you like level games doesn't mean everyone only likes level/wave games. stop thinking about yourself for once you poor loser.

Prioritize for upgrades: Knife, garlic, blowtorch, and frying pan. In the beginning, you can just mash left or right and collect experience in a straight line. After a while, however, the enemies stop spawning in front of you, which is when you'll need the blowtorch. The worst thing about the impossible badge is that you will lose count once the enemies stop spawning except in massive clusters. I ended up getting 170 red Andrews after losing count around 20.

i like that I got this impossible bade in a couple days but the one for forge and fortune will take a couple hundred days. makes sense.

This was easy to get all the badges in the end.
Go down to a horizontal street and hold right. Make sure to align yourself with a trashcan so that you always run into it and pick up whatever it has.
Focus on knives and flamethrower.
Once you have enough coins, purchase Cooldown once.
Repeat the process of just going right until you can get Growth once or twice.
That was enough for me to get all the badges. In fact I got the impossible badge before I got the easy one to collect 100 coins.
And if your keyboard supports macros or you use AutoHotkey, you don't even have to hold the key yourself to move right.

Almost good. Coin upgrades either too scarce or too expensive. If you need 3 runs to afford the most useless upgrade (health), it's not viable/fun.

ah yes.
Vampire survivors.
except without 100% of the content.
There isnt diversity...
also why are we playing as the chef when the chef was the antagonist (i think? i played it for 5 minutes) in the rolly one?

The moment I bought one weapon speed upgrade, this game became incredibly easy. The difficulty in this game needs serious rebalancing. The impossible badge shouldn't go from brutal to a cakewalk just because of one singular upgrade.

Personally, I feel like some of the nothing drops from killing Kongpanions (as weird as that feels for a story about saving them) should be replaced with coins. That way, it feels less like you have to choose between attacking Kongpanions and collecting coins. At least this feels like a game, unlike crap like Mergest Kingdom.

the enemies respawn behind you as long as you keep going the same direction. funny enough you can walk any direction infinity.

Good thing I decided to take a screenshot after 30minutes of play because right when I hit 500 coins in a single game it crashed. The comments are right though - boost your Amount +1, and Reload Speed +1. That's it. Then start with knives and get all knife upgrades offered or else blowtorch, and hold the A or D button for half an hour.

@TCiLLnEsS I've noticed that with several of the "new wave" of badged games. Multiple times I've gotten Hard badges before Easy/Medium ones.

The combination of autofire AND always firing straight makes this a frustrating experience. In order to kill anything that is chasing you, you have to stop running away and turn around at just the right moment or you fire in the wrong direction.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Aight, it's like, boring for 7 minutes (you can just go straight) then suddently a hoard of mobs appears, you will die, a couple times. When you can afford to upgrade knives amount, with 4 knives fully upgraded you can keep going straight and kill everything, game done. Nothing interesting after that except for the fact that there's no more chicken drops and whenever you change direction half of the mobs teleports behind you, but you could just go on forever at that point.

Badges don't feel well balanced. Played through three times about 12 minutes each, and I already have the hard badge for hogglesworth but do not have 100 coins collected. Part of that is on me because I didn't go for the garbage cans the first run and only got 2, but I got around 30-40 the next two runs.

I would have happily skipped 80% of the upgrade options for a magnet upgrade. Especially in the conditions of a hard, almost annoying, character movement controls.
I'm done with upgrading Amount, Cooldown and some Growth... and I start wondering if there's any point of continue playing. Seriously, what's the point? Score? I feel like we are back in the 80's where the whole point of arcade games where score - with a visual upgrade nowadays, true. But that almost cost the game industry to become a extinct - if not for Donkey Kong.
Is it really that hard to make a game with levels, with organic upgrade, with boss levels, with a good story, with excitement, with fun? Who is producing this things - did they every played games for fun in their life, to have a comparison? I dare any of the creators of this game to play it for three hours straight, and to tell me how they feel after that. Still fresh and enthusiastic, or feeling drained like a funny zombie?

The game is okay but problem with is mechanic of monster spawn you can go one way and monster gona spawn behaind you at you can don't worry(15 min). wepons are between over power (knife, blowtorch) okay(pan) crap(gralic)

About the name... it appears a couple of different ways, and they're both wrong. It should be "Chef's Last Stand." Not Chef or Chefs. Thanks!

Upgrade to Amount 1 / Health 1 / Armor 1 / Cooldown 2 / Growth 4
Go for Knifes => Blowtorch => Frying Pan => Onions
Run in a straight line, with Growth 4 you'll level up way faster than enemies. Get all upgrades and you can survive indefinitely. You can put more points on Health and Armor to be safer and to have to rely less on chickens.

Just keep upgrading knife and keep running in a straight line to the right once you have 2 knives with one extra pierce. easy score farm

Amazing work for such small development times! this game is addictive and demands me trying a different strategy every single time

I finally figured out why this game is bad. No magnet/range increases. You have to be on top of "energy" to collect it.

So, it's a Vampire Survivors clone, with slower upgrades and only one character, so you're stuck with the knife thrown in the direction you're facing far longer than in VS.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game is great compared to please dont eat me and this is how we roll! You can use multiple combinations of upgrades, or just go one direction like frying pan. I do hope for more updates with more upgrades though, along with special upgrades when you get specific combinations levelled far enough.

]I think this game would work better using waves, with time in between them. That said, this is far better than 'Please Don't Eat Me' or 'This is How We Roll'.
